It was Valentine's Day and the dance was going on several floors below, but Desislav had no intention of heading down there. It was an odd dance to go to alone, at least that's what he believed. So, he'd just spent the time dropping stink pellets on each floor, leaving little surprises for everyone when they headed back to the dorms later.

He'd already finished the lower floors and was growing concerned that he'd run out before he reached Ravenclaw Tower. Stopping for a moment, the teen pulled the packet of pellets from his pocket to check out his diminishing supply. He now regretted all of the pellets he'd tossed in front of Styx's office.

The last dance Kayleigh had attended ended with more drama than she anticipated, and she had quickly decided that she wasn't going to go to the Valentines Dance. She did not need to see Orwell dancing with his friends, or all the 'cute couples'. The blonde had planned on spending the night studying, using the peace and quiet to her advantage, but a new idea arose when she got her yellow rose from Des, asking to be friends again. Since Kayleigh knew Desislav wouldn't be at the dance, she decided it was a good time to go and find him and make-up. They had talked previously, but it still felt awkward, and they still weren't hanging out properly again, so the gesture from Des was incredibly cute and all Kayleigh needed to go apologize again. Once out of the Dungeons, and onto the First Floor, all Kayleigh had to do was follow the stink pellets. She saw them in the Dungeons, and then on the Ground Floor, and by the time she had reached the First Floor, she had quickly put two and two together; it wasn't hard to figure out who had done this, and if it wasn't who she was suspecting, then she could get that Gryffindor (because she knew it had to be a Gryffindor) to find Des for her. Finally making her way up to where the pellets were dwindling down, Kayleigh's eyes landed on a familiar head. "Some things never change do they?" She mused aloud.

Desi whipped around, the packet held carefully behind his back until he realized who it was who'd spoken to him. "Oh, it's just you" he stated, visibly relaxing and returning the pellets to his pocket. Kayleigh would never rat him out. At least he didn't think so. Desi shrugged in response. "Just doing my part to keep up morale. What are you up to tonight?" he asked, only mildly curious. He had to get back to things.

Kayleigh raised an eyebrow at his comment, but had to smile as he relaxed and answered. Kayleigh walked closer towards him as he asked her what she was up to. "Well, I got your rose and note." The blonde smiled. "I was wondering if you wanted to go and - chat, properly? Maybe somewhere where we won't be caught red handed?" Kayleigh suggested with a smirk, gesturing to the stink pellets. She didn't really know what they were going to talk about, she just wanted things to get back to the way they were.

"Ah" he nodded, his head and smiled. Desislav had seen the sign advertising the flowers, and it had felt like a good idea. He started to nod again and then paused, his own eyebrow rising. "You really mean talk, right? Not kiss or anything else odd like last time?" He flinched, expecting a punch to the arm. "Ok, let's find a place to talk" he finally agreed, figuring they could walk around until they found a good place. It shouldn't be too difficult with many people at the party.

Kayleigh's mouth dropped open at Desislav, and she flung her fist into his arm; he was right to flinch. "You're such a brat." She muttered as she began walking, looking for a spot or room for them to hang out in.
