Lorelai was having a great day- she was out by the lakefront, with a wooden stick in hand. She'd climbed up onto a felled log, swinging the stick and bouncing around. "Perry! Thrust! Slash!" She declared, in an ardent battle with invisible foes. "Begone, you fiends!" She jumped back, avoiding imaginary blows. The fight carried on several more minutes, before she pretended to take a fatal. blow. "No! It can't be!" She gasped, dropping her stick, before dramatically falling from the log. "Avenge me!" She called to no one in particular, and with her legs still laid over the log, her torso in the dirt, she lay with one hand on her chest and the other arm above her head, eyes closed as she imagined her funeral.

Miroslav didn't love being back at school. He didn't love having to interact with other students or having to pretend like he even remotely cared about his classes - he really didn't - but he was. He was wondered outside and watched a girl as she pretended to fight, lost in her own little world. How dumb. He watched her until she was on the ground. "Wow," he said as if impressed, as he got close enough to her that she might hear. "That was super lame," he told her.

Lorelai was interrupted by a voice, and she peeked open an eye to see a boy. Unbothered by his words, propping up on one arm with a smile. "Hi!" She greeted. "I had fun." She spoke like it was the most obvious answer. "What do you like to do for fun?" She asked, sitting up completely and folding her legs under her.

Miroslav lookedat her, an eyebrow raised as she seemed to be unbothered by the words that he spoke. "Not that," he replied shortly, thinking that literally anything would be more interesting than what she'd been doing. "Why don't you pretend to be a knight again?"

Lorelai smiled and popped up, grabbing her stick and another similar in length and sturdiness. She turned, offering out the second one to him. "Are you going to fight with me?" She asked. "I promise not to let you win," She gave him a playful wink, glad to have someone to join in with her games.

Miroslav looked at the the stick that was offered to him and then laughed lightly. "No, just you fight and play pretend on your own," he told her. He was not about to actually join in and was just watching to see how she'd act with him as an audience.

Lorelai shrugged, and tossed aside the second stick. If he didn't want to play with her, she wouldn't force him. She returned to her game, now declaring she'd avenge her fallen comrade, and jumped back up onto the log, slashing and stabbing at invisible enemies. "The kingdom shall not fall!" She declared, oblivious of her audience and just continuing to duck and dodge and weave- even rolling when she fell off the log and had to do a dramatic roll to make up for it, running about a bit and sword fighting with her stick on solid ground now.

Miroslav's plan had been to cause the girl to trip, using a trip jinx, but she fell of her own accord without him needing to. He laughed at her, even as she was running about, trying to recover from it. He decided to do it anyway, and not very subtle, he cast a trip jinx at her.

Lorelai was paying no attention at all, surprised when she tripped again. She didn't think anything of it, instead just laughing and pushing herself up. She shook her head, and deciding to play a new variation of the game, she turned back to the boy still standing there. "Come on! Let's play in the water!" She called, before turning and running to the lake, jumping into the shallow end, squealing as the water splashed over her calves, soaking her shoes.
