What is a charm?
A charm does not change an object in any way like in Transfigueration. It can however change the way it moves, the setting it's in or it's contents.
Lesson 2
Lumos
♥ Used to send out a light from your wand tip.
Nox
♥ Puts out the light on your wand.
Lesson 3
Levitation Charm
Win-gar-di-um Lev-i-o-sa
♥ A rudimentary skill that is necessary to master.
♥ Lets you levitate to about 15ft but depends on weight.
♥ Swish and flick action.
Lesson 4
Summoning Charm
Accio
♥ Most common summoning charm.
♥ Difficult to learn, requires focus and a lot practice.
♥ Means 'I summon' in Latin.
♥ This charm comes in handy when you need to reach something at a distance.
♥ You must clearly state what you want to summon. <- VERY IMPORTANT! BEEN NASTY INCIDENTS.
Lesson 5
Banishing Charm
Depulso
♥ Can be used to defend from attackers.
♥ Can also be used to defend from objects aimed at you.
♥ Wand action as if shooing something away.
Everte Statum
♥ Same as Depulso except stronger.
♥ Takes a lot of practise.
♥ Only a few can succeed in their first year.
