Stormie D. Lew was born in the United States (California, to be exact) to two muggles. Her father, Charles, is a graphic designer (a type of muggle art made on computers) from Leeds. Her mother, Lynn, was born in Brighton and is currently a photo-journalist for the muggle magazine "National Geographic." They both also do odd jobs for the wizarding paper "The Daily Prophet," while Charles also edits the advertising section of "The Quibbler." Stormie has an older muggle brother, Jackson, who is currently enrolled at a non-magic university in southern California.
Growing up, Stormie knew about the wizarding world and was always interested in it. Not until she got her letter did she know that the reason her parents were so involved was that their family had traces of wizard blood. Of course she was delighted at her acceptance to Hogwarts, and loved the idea of getting closer to her parents' hometowns.
While she will miss her family, especially Jackson (who is the epitome of big brothers), Stormie is jumping headfirst into new experiences and can't wait to form a new family at school.
