Sometime's Silence is needed

[Kida Frost]

Kida walked up the stairs to the Owlery, she had been waiting for a reply from Remus he usually Sent her Owls once or twice a week even though she refused to reply.
The letters had stopped for a week and she kept on coming up to the Owlery waiting for Gufo to give her a letter or any owl to give her something Kida sighed and looked around, she couldn't see Gufo, Maybe he had been called away for something she sighed and decided to stay in the Owlery for a while it was nice and cool in here.

Kida moved to the window and sat on it looking out over the castle

 

[Drafis Firn]

Drafis had to do it - He had to inform Kida of what had happened to Remus. It was something that Remus would have wanted Drafis to do, and it was the least he could do to repay his son. Wiping a tear from his eye, as the thought of his son flashed back into mind, Drafis headed over to his desk and grabbed a quill and some parchment. He began writing and finished with an abrupt strike on the side of the page. Rolling the parchment up and tying it, Drafis placed it with Gufo, whom he had with him at the time. He had been informed by one of Remus' friends who's owl it was. Giving it a boost out the Window, Drafis fell back onto his desk, sliding down to the floor and cupping his head in his hands.

Spoiler: Kida

Dear Kida Frost,

This is Drafis Firn - the Gentlemen you met at Brightstone not too long ago. By now I believe that you would have discovered that I, Drafis, Am Remus' father - clearly by my listing in this letter, but I'm afraid this isn't what I'm contacting you about. Approximately three day's ago, Remus passed away after suffering a Heart attack. Pearl attempted to save him, but it was no good. The Firn House hold kept to old Wizard tradition and didn't have phones.

The reason for me writing to you is because, I know that my Son would have wanted me to do such things. I'm so sorry.

[Kida Frost]

Kida saw Gufo Flying towards the window he had a letter she smiled thankfully

"Gufo!" She said happily as she got up off the window ledge she stood up and waited for him to fly in the window, holding her arm out he panded on her arm she picked up the letter and looked at it, no signing on the front, that was unusual for Remus. Kida gave Gufo a treat and let him go to a box before she tilted her head.

Kida flipped the letter over and stuck her nail in the back of it ripping the top open. Kida looked at the unfamiliar scribing before she decided to read it, this Letter wasn't from Remus, It was from Drafis

As her eyes drifted over the words she felt a knot form in her throat she held it back until she finished the letter

It Suddenly Hit her,
Remus Firn, Her God Father, the Man who looked after her and looked out for her was infact

Dead

Kida felt her legs give way.

 

[Tohoru Koshiba]

Tohoru had just come from the kitchens where he and Eden had been getting a quick bite to eat and some much needed alone time. Now he was heading up to the owlery to see if he had gottin any letters from mom. Reaching the landing Tohoru walked in and saw Edens best friend Kida about to hit the floor. Rushing over to her he sweeped her off her feet and held him in his arms. "What happened Kida?" Tohoru did not ask her if she was ok because if she was than she would not be like this.

 

[Kida Frost]

Kida felt someone pick her up off her feet, she tried to hold back the knot in her neck which was threatening to make her cry, Kida shook a bit before she opened her mouth and said something to the person who had just picked her up.
"Re....Re...Remus Firn" she begun trying to say the words without crying "D-Died two Days Ago" Kida finally looked up at the person who had caught her, it was Tohoru.

Kida shook a bit more still in shock from what had happened "M-M-My God Father is Dead" she said softly before she turned into his chest and started to cry, tears slid down her cheeks as if they were always there, Kida's hand grabbed onto tohoru's shirt, she felt as if she was falling even though Tohoru had a a firm hold of her, Kida was in such a delicate state there was no chance for her to accidently Transfigure.
"He's Dead" she repeated Softly

 

[Tohoru Koshiba]

"Remus Frin? Our old Transfiguration professor. Was your god father? Kida Im so sorry." Keeping a firm grip Tohoru rocked her back and forth making comforting noise now and than wondering how he was going to get Eden she was very much needed.

 

[Kida Frost]

Kida nodded as she continued to cry, She opened her hand to show a letter still folded in her hand "Read i-it" she said as she pushed her head further into Tohoru's shirt.

 

[Tohoru Koshiba]

Getting a better grip on Kida, Tohoru shifted her weight to one arm and took the note and read it. Finishing it as fast as he could, Tohoru knew that Kida really needed Eden now alot more than Tohoru needed her. Eyes scanning the room he noticed what looked like Liliths long blonde hair peeking out from behind the corridor. "Lilith if that is you than you better stop your sneaking and get your butt down to the Slytherin Common room now and being Eden fast."

 

[Lilith Patil]

Lilith heard what Tohoru had said and went rushing down the stairs she had been spying on him because there was something about him that made Lilith angry she was unsure what it was but something was there. Rushing into the Slytherin common room she saw Eden sitting by the fire kitten lap cooing to it some spell that sounded a bit evil. "Eden! Tohoru, Kida, Owlery. Need you!" Turning up her nose Lilith walked into her dorm room and sat on her bed it was not like she was needed out wanted.

 

[Eden Silverback]

Eden had been talking to Mischief about things when Lilith had rushed in saying something about her best friend and boyfriend. Jumping out of her chair and running up the stairs she skidded into the room and rushed to Kida's side brushing back her hair she saw how tight she was holding on to Tohoru. "Kida sweetheart what has happened? It's me Eden Im here."

 

[Kida Frost]

Kida heard Tohoru yell at someone and the next thing she knew Eden was with her. Kida looked up slighly showing Eden her tear stained face, Kida held back her tears to speak to Eden "Remus is D-Dead" she said shaking again before she started to cry again.

 

[Eden Silverback]

Eden looked at Kida's face feeling so bad for her. Hearing Kida say her godfather was dead broke her heart. Taking a seat on the floor Eden looked over at Tohoru. "Babe place her head in my lap and leave make sure that no one comes up here and bugs us she needs time to be alone."

 

[Kida Frost]

Kida wanted to curl into a bal and cry, she wanted to jump, yet she wanted to live, she just wanted to wind back time
Inside her she was really pissed that Pearl couldn't save him she always knew that she was a hopeless Nurse and it just ticked her off even more.

Kida took a deep breath in and continued to cry "He's Dead, why is he dead, how could he die" she said thrugh her sobs

 

[Eden Silverback]

Eden felt tears streaming down her face. Her best friend was in pain and there was nothing she could do about it. Petting her hair softly Eden wondered what she could say to make it better. "I dont know Kida Im so sorry sometimes things just happen for a reason. I wish there was something that I could do to make it better I really do."

 

[Kida Frost]

Kida swallowed and began to talk again "But Nothing can be done" Kida sighed she swallowing again.
"He would want me to Move on, he would want me to be strong" she said 'he would want me to finish his work' she said in her mind

Kida took a deep breath and sat up to se Eden crying "Don't cry" she said shaking the sadness from her voice.

 

[Eden Silverback]

Eden took in a deep breath. "Yes he would want you to be strong but crying can be a good thing and I will try to stop crying but its a bit hard for me." Just sitting there Eden wondered what she was going to do.

 

[Kida Frost]

Kida looked at Eden "Good" She said as she whiped the Tears from her face "I Shall be Strong, i Shall be Brave, i Shall move on" she said sighing Kida pulled herself to her feet and leaned against the bench near her to help her stand "Gufo" she called her Large Deep Dark Brown Owl who came down from a top box, "I'm sorry i had to tell you this terrible News Eden" she said Kida held her arm out and allowed Gufo to Land on it, Gufo was a Rather Large Owl Kida looked at him and put on a smile "i'll meet you at my Dorm, i will need to send a letter ok" she said to the Owl

Kida looked to Eden "I'm Sorry" she said

 

[Eden Silverback]

"Kida its fine you know Im here for you no matter what. Thats what friends are for." Standing up Eden ran her fingers through her hair wishing she had thought to bring a hair tie of some sorts. "Is there anything else you need?"

 

[Kida Frost]

Kida shook her head "its fine, i just need to Contact my.... Grand Father" she said remembering the Letter again from Drafis.
Kida nodded and walked towards the door "Thanks Eden" she said as she took a deep breath and left the Owlery

 

[Eden Silverback]

"Just have Tohoru come get me if you need anything." Eden watched Kida head to here common room before heading back to hers.
