Recently, the last year had been rather stressful for young Hadan Johnson. Now, her and Miriah turn nineteen, and it was hours from the Halloween Ball. Wearing rather normal clothing, Hadan brought in chocolate cookies. Everyone that was invited was told to bring up something like a small delight for Halloween. This was also her birthday, but Hadan left that part out. She preferred to not be reminded that she was a whole year older than them all. Hadan wore boots, high heeled boots. Hadan had wrapped two presents, one being a gag present and one being the real present. She placed them on the table and they had Miriah's name on them. This would be rather interesting indeed. Especially if Miriah was regretting that she ever slept with Aiden. The months without her sister being in her life all the time was stressful, but luckily now, Miriah knew the truth about Bryan, and also got Miriah to get her belly button pierced. Hadan did a good job on it, if she said so herself. With her hair coursing down her shoulders, she laid down on the couch and waited for others to arrive. Hadan smirked lightly, as she could not wait for this little get together that she was assembling. Hadan even invited Abbey. Someone needed that baby clothing in the end anyway. Hadan popped her fingers and she waited for the other seventh years.

OOCOut of Character:
This takes place on Halloween. So, it is relatively in the future. For our references.

Theodore walked into the Student Lounge carrying a small tray of Caramel Apples that he and Alyssa had made the previous night together so he could bring them. He also had presents for both Hadan and Miriah because it was both of their birthdays today. Later on there would be a Halloween feast and everything with all the other students but the Seventh years decided to hold a bash of their own. Theodore even asked Aiden if he wanted to come along since they seemed to be on okay terms now and he looked like he needed to get out and doing something other than moping about Miriah. Too bad that Theodore forgot to mention that she would be here anyways, but he thought that if he had it would make him not want to come and he seriously needed to get out. "Hey Hadan!" Theodore greeted softly as he set the food and the gifts down. He could only wonder who else was invited and when they would show up. Hopefully there was minimal drama because he wanted today to be a good day. Tonight would be amazing too, hopefully Aleyha and him could spend some quality time with one another tonight, but for now he would spend some time with his classmates. Probably one of the last few times he wold get to spend with them.

Miriah walked in after her sister with a huge grin in her face. She absolutely loved the month October because of the simple fact that it was the month that Halloween was in, and also it made an excuse for her to pig out in junk food. In one of her hands was a box of Halloween Donuts and Hadan's Birthday Present. She knew that Hadan probably felt the same as she did about the whole birthday scene but she preferred to get her sister something anyways. Her and Hadan and hung out quite a bit, unfortunately Miriah found out the truth about her father which of course brought along some unwanted tears but then she realized that she still her sister there for her. Hadan had even brought Miriah to get her belly button pierced. It hurt but afterwards Miriah concluded that it was kind of cute. Setting everyone down Miriah silently made her way over to her sister and sat herself down on one of couches as quickly as she possibly could. She was going to use today and this Holiday to try and forget all about Aiden and all the drama that had been going on. She let her ruby eyes fall onto her sister. "Hadan what are you wearing?" Miriah asked her sister softly she stared at her sisters outfit. It looked nice but Miriah would never wear it herself.

Today was going to be a really exciting day. Alyssa made sure to wear orange festive clothing to the little party that Hadan had set up for all of them to go to. She even curled her hair a little and put a large orange banana bow in her hair to make it even more festive. Alyssa had come with Abbey so she could help the highly pregnant girl get up here if she needed, since she was studying to be a healer she was working with her friend as much as she could. To be a little honest though she sometimes got distracted by how big Abigail was getting, she looked like she swallowed a ball or possibly something else around that size. "Happy Halloween guys!" In her hands were a tray of Pumpkin spice Muffins and two necklaces that were supposed to be Hadan and Miriah's birthday presents. Although she was excited today and everything she was hiding behind a fairly fake smile. Her boyfriend had not contacted her in some time and now it was easy for her to say that she was beyond worried. It had been over two months and Alyssa was now under the impression that he might even break up with her. It broke her heart to even think about it but she would try to have fun and celebrate today.

To be honest, Abigail Lurken was shocked to have received an invite to a social event only for seventh years hosted by her once enemy and feared Hadan Johnson. She was heavily pregnant now, having reached the peak of her second trimester. Her stomach was easily seen and she had her parents send her some bigger skirts and jeans so that she could wear them comfortably. She was wearing a dress now, with black sweatpants underneath to be a little more casual. She carried Halloween sweets as it was a requirement, but she also got two necklaces, one for Hadan and the other for Miriah as well. It was their birthdays, and she did not know what else to get them because she would feel completely out of place if she did not get them anything anyway. They were wrapped in blue and green wrapper, depending on who she was referring to. Abbey did not wear anything Halloween...ish. She did not have anything right now anyway so she did not mind. Abbey glanced over at Alyssa and she smiled lightly. Walking over, almost waddling, she placed the presents and sweets on the table. Abbey smiled at the group, "Happy Halloween, and birthdays!" Abbey combed her fingers through her hair and she sat down on the couch with Miriah in the lounge.

Hadan glanced over with her ruby red eyes that could flare up when she was angry, but now they were perfectly at ease. First to arrive was Theodore. She gave him a smile, but she did not raise from her spot on the couch. She liked laying down here because well, it was hers. "Hey there, Theodore." She already told him congratulations, well, she thought that she did but it did not matter really. Her sister had arrived, and she glanced up at her. Raising an eyebrow at what she said about her shirt, Hadan shrugged, "Well, I would call it a shirt. But my favorite one was destroyed last time I was home so... I had to make this do." Hadan smirked lightly, and she was rather fond of this shirt. What was wrong with revealing just one shoulder? She liked the shirt because it was unique, like herself. She glanced over at Alyssa and she waved at her, greeting with a Happy Halloween as usual, and then her eyes landed on Abbey. Wow, she was huge. Hadan snickered as she thought, Karma is a *****. And that is why I chose to stay safe. Abbey was married though, so did she get pregnant before or after she was married? Hadan did not know, and she did not want to know. She lightly smiled at the greeting that the ex-prefect had given her and her sister. Hadan wondered when the others would arrive. Who else was there except Patricia?

Patricia finished applying her slightly darker than usual make up, but not too much, to set off her ‘Halloween’ style outfit. Living in a school with witches and wizards and knowing that this wasn’t exactly what Halloween was like she still had a lot of muggle influences in her day to day doings so for the day of All Hallow’s Eve she decided to dress in all black but still quite cute – or so she thought. While it wasn’t time for the Halloween Ball yet, a few of the seventh years had decided to get together, just themselves, to have their own small party before the Ball that night. It was also two seventh year’s birthdays today so it was a whole combination of parties really. On the thought of birthday’s Patricia remembered that it was her little niece, Joanna’s, birthday today and with everything that had been happening at school she hadn’t found time to owl off her present for her so before heading to the students lounge – where the seventh years were gathering – she sent off an owl with her present for Joanna to Nataliia. Thinking of Joanna’s birthday made her think of Joseph’s death but it had been a few years now so it wasn’t as hard for her anymore to think of it as it was originally. Once she was finally ready she gathered the presents for Miriah and Hadan; the birthday girls, and her contribution to the food aspect of the party – being head of the Conglomatered Arts Club had its perks from time to time. She found it a bit hard juggling the cake and presents in her hands so she set them down and used her wand to levitate the cake in front of her to the student’s lounge which was only down the corridor for her. Entering the room she saw the pretty much everyone had arrived, she hated being the last there but she wasn’t the last last so it didn’t make it too bad. “Hi guys.” she said as she set the cake and presents down. She hoped the girls liked their presents, she at least knew Hadan but she had never even talked to Miriah before despite her being in most of classes for a few years now.

Aiden really had no interest in even going to this gathering of the seventh years today before the Halloween Ball – something he didn’t even plan on going too. While he was trying to change this year he saw no point on going to any social gatherings but Theodore, someone who Aiden never liked but oddly enough was on good terms with right now, had talked him around to it. He wasn’t overly keen on it when he heard that it was partially for Miriah and Hadan’s birthday, something that Theodore failed to mention but something he had heard from Patricia during the week. This really made him not want to go now, he loved the fact that he was going to get the chance to talk to Miriah once again but with Hadan there he really didn’t like his chances. Regardless, he had told Theodore that he would be there so, unwilling he made his way down to the Student’s Lounge with the presents for the birthday girls and some ‘Halloween’ treats that he took from the kitchen for tonight. As for birthday presents he really didn’t know what to get the two girls but eventually he had settled on a joke present for Hadan that he had gotten in Gambol and Japes and something of Miriah’s that he had been meaning to give back for sometime but she had never given him the opportunity. Entering the Student’s Lounge he saw a number of people from his year gathered in the room, avoiding the gaze of some people, Hadan to be specific, he left his things on the table trying to remain as unnoticed as possible.

Theodore eyes fixed themselves onto the door as others arrived into the room and here for the party, and to be honest the only he even remotely cared about was Aiden and that was because he had invited. Him and Patricia were never really good friends despite their positions of power. He thought Abigail was just a waste of space for the most part as well, even if he sometimes he even forgot why he was mad at her. When his emerald green eyes landed on her huge stomach he wondered if all pregnant women got that big. For some reason right now the thought of kid made him shudder, hopefully he never made Aleyha get that big. She would topple over. 'So glad I'm not a girl.' Theodore thought to himself as he tried to think of a way to changed the subject. He would have commented about Hadan's attire but since she was related to Aleyha he thought it would be wrong to do so. "So Johnson, congrats on getting Chaser. Better pray the Beaters don't bloody you up to badly. It'd suck to see you get taken out on your first game." He teased as he made room and waved Aiden over. It seemed that Hadan had yet to really notice or make a fit about him being here so he hoped she wasn't going to act badly over this. It seems that Miriah didn't see him either, she seemed to busy grabbing junk food and pigging out to really notice.

Miriah immediately went for the candy as soon as she saw some, it was about time they started to bring junk food for her to pig out on. "Do I dare even ask how it got destroyed Hadan? It's inappropriate to be wearing such a thing you know." Miriah was half teasing her sister and half really meaning it. It always bothered her whenever her sister showed skin, boys these days were obnoxious. Whether she had a boyfriend or not didn't matter one bit to Miriah. She ate more of the candy and froze when she saw Aiden come into the room. Who the hell invited him? Didn't they know what was going on between the two of them right now? Then she saw Theodore wave him over and she felt like she wanted to smack him. Miriah ate another piece of candy and listened to what Theodore had directed at her, wow he was being a royal pain in the butt today. Miriah glanced at her sister, someone she knew hated Quidditch and hoped would back her up now that Aiden was here. "Bite me Theodore." She stuck her tongue out at him and went back to eating the candy and all other sweets again. Good thing she wasn't actually pregnant like poor Abigail was, how much could she end up eating in a day? Miriah let her eyes fall down to Abigails pregnant stomach. She was so big looking, in a moment she may even ask if Abbey knew what gender it was and everything.

Alyssa watched the entire scene like it was from a poorly directed movie. Her brother was being a jerk, Miriah was eating candy like it was going out of style, and worse Aiden had somehow been invited. She thought this was supposed to be a party and not an excuse for them to just act like little kids again. The blonde shook her head and turned her blue eyes onto Hadan. "I actually really like the top. Though the last one was...destroyed you say?" She raised an eyebrow as she grew confused for a moment. Sometimes Alyssa could be very naive about things like this. When it hit her what she meant she turned red and muttered an 'o' with her perfectly glossed lips. Hadan and her boyfriend seriously reminded her of rabbits sometimes. Trying not to think of the word boyfriend so she wouldn't started to cry she smiled at Patricia, one of the few seemingly normal at the party right now. Hopefully she could keep that way. Alyssa was about to ask what everyone was wearing for Halloween but then she heard what Miriah bit back to her brother and rolled her eyes.

Abbey felt her daughter move from the depths within, and she glanced down, before she adjusted herself to a more comfortable position on the couch. With her shirt now concealing her stomach a little more, her wedding ring glistening off of her finger, she glanced at the people that arrived. She seemed a little overwhelmed at first to have both the Head Boy and Girl in here, but she realized that everyone else outnumbered them. She saw that Miriah was pigging out with the sweets, and it was making Abbey want something sweet as well. Flourishing her wand, she summoned a muffin to her, which she caught and started to nibble upon it. She had already eaten plenty before, but now she just needed a snack, and it seemed like her daughter was rather happy and all. Her amethyst eyes fell upon Patricia to which Abbey greeted, "Hey there!" But then her eyes landed on Aiden. She uttered, "We were supposed to bring in sweets and all, not trash." Everything seemed a little tense, but she managed to just pretend that Theodore was not there for right now. This was supposed to be a party, not a huge fight. Abbey was happier now, and so was he. Despite the past when she called him a half-breed and then a cheater, it was not a good past. But things were good now, because she had grown up. "Anyone else going to avoid the Halloween ball or whatever?"

Hadan's red eyes rolled slowly and obviously at her sister's statement. As if she had any room to talk. Hadan was wearing jeans at least, to cover her long legs, but Hadan had caught her in bed with Aiden, and that alone was worse than her coming in with a bikini and that alone. Hadan smirked lightly, and she spoke, her voice lacing with sarcasm as now, she had noticed everyone that had entered into the room, "No, this is perfectly appropriate. Anything being seen with that is inappropriate." Hadan nodded toward the lone Gryffindor, as she positioned herself so that she could see everyone that arrived. That seemed like everyone. She honestly thought that the top covered more than what a lot of others wore, and did not know what Miriah's issue was with her actually showing a little bit of her body. Hadan let out a sigh and shot a cold glare over in Theodore's direction before she saw him wave him over to them. So, the Head Boy was the source of inviting him? Hadan rose up from the couch, and she thanked Alyssa for the compliment on the shirt. And she would have to explain what happened later, if need be. She had a feeling just to punch Theodore out right now, and make sure that Aleyha could never get pregnant, and he would be disposed of from the family for failure to keep to the arranged marriage laws. But Hadan was not that mad. She needed to calm down before someone ended up going to the Hospital Wing. Hadan answered Abbey, "I'm not going, but that is because dressing up is just stupid or an excuse to be a slut. So, I vote to have Miriah open up her gifts first."

Patricia smiled softly at the small group of seventh years, waving to a few that had done so to her. Unlike the rest of them she really had nothing against anyone in this room as everyone had something bad to say against at least one other person in this room. In a way Patricia was a bit naive about the goings-ons among some of her fellow classmates although she had yet to discover the majority of it. As Head Girl she liked to think that she what was going on with most of her classmates and while she did for the most part there was a lot that she didn’t know. “Hey Abbey.” she said to the heavily pregnant girl. Patricia still found it hard to believe that there was a pregnant girl in her year but she didn’t say anything to Abbey about it because it was her choice to have the child and that was all that mattered. When Abbey asked about anyone going to avoid the Halloween Ball Patricia shook her head, “I’ll be going. Apart from my duty to be there I enjoy the Halloween Ball, plus it’s our last one at the school, why not go?” she asked. Patricia couldn’t imagine not going to the Ball, she believed in making the most memories as possible before her time at Hogwarts was over – plus she had an amazing costume this year.

Normally Aiden wouldn’t be like this and not let anyone spoil his fun but he felt very much out of it among his classmates. He had no opinion about some of them, possibly two he liked, and the rest either hated him or he hated them. This is going to be a bundle of laughs he thought to himself as he caught sight of Theodore waving him over. It was still a bit strange to be on good terms with Theodore but he was grateful for the Slytherin and was able to put their past behind him to have a go at being friends with him, because Merlin knows that Aiden needed some of them. Letting his sapphire orbs glare at Abbey he was going to make some sort of snide remark about her being pregnant before Hadan interjected. He should have known better than to even think for a second that she was standing up for him. “I knew I shouldn’t have come.” he told Theodore as he eyed Miriah – so it was true that pregnant woman did eat a lot of sweet stuff, he wondered if tonight she would give him a moment to speak to her, with it being her birthday he expected her to be in a good mood.

Theodore rolled his eyes and waved the girls off as they became rude towards Aiden, he figured that they were just all suffering from a major attack of hormones and needed to take it out on someone. "I might go to the Halloween thing, only because it's my last year and I intend to drag Aleyha with me." Theodore commented as he stretched his arm out tiredly and leaned further back into his seat. He liked to spend time with his girlfriend so he figured that if he went she would probably go with him. When Theodore heard Aiden say something and stare at Miriah he rolled his eyes softly. That boy was hooked and he still didn't even seem to notice. "Hey lover boy, stop staring." He whispered quietly so only Aiden could here and nudged the male Gryffindor and tried to get his attention before anyone caught him staring at Miriah. He probably thought she was still pregnant or something. It still seemed obvious that Aiden had a thing for her to Theodore. when Hadan suggested that Miriah open her gifts first the blonde snickered and nodded his head in agreement. He heard that Hadan had gotten Miriah a really 'awesome' birthday present.

Miriah stopped her eating for a moment to raise her eyebrows at Hadan when she saw that anything being seen with Aiden was inappropriate. She wanted to tell her sister that she needed to lighten up on him or something but the moment she opened her mouth she closed it and sighed, what was the point anyways? She didn't like being insulted either because she had indeed slept with him him which meant that she had been with him, not that anyone in this room really needed to hear that. "I'm only going for the candy and as an excuse to chill out in the library afterwards." Miriah shrugged her shoulders and when Hadan told her that she voted Miriah open up her presents first she rolled her eyes and got up from the sofa. Pulling her shirt down she walked over to the table and gathered up everything that had her name on it plus the entire bowl of candy that Aiden had brought. Miriah brought the presents back down and sat them on the floor before she sat herself down too. She picked up one and shook it before she turned to look at all the others. "So um..which one first?" Her voice had a hint of amusement in it as she turned and picked up a piece of candy from the dish and devoured it quickly.

"I'm not going to be dressing up like a slut Hadan." Alyssa told her friend softly as she managed to swipe a piece of candy from the bucket that Miriah had brought over and unwrapped it carefully. She ate the piece of candy and watched the mound of presents carefully. Her birthday would be along soon since December was right around the corner now that October was just about done and over with. She would be eighteen this year but she figured it wasn't that much of a big deal. Alyssa didn't really want a party or anything. Originally she had been just planning to go out and spend the day with her boyfriend but it didn't look like that may happen with the way he was ignoring her. "You should open Hadan's gift first Miriah." Alyssa bit her lip and tried to focus on something else other than the thought of him. Maybe seeing her best friend and her roommate open their gifts and being all happy would cheer her up. Alyssa planned to go to the Halloween thing too, to get her mind off things.

"Would there be anything there this year that would be good enough to not miss other than just...costumes?" Hadan inquired, her red eyes staring at Patricia. If there was something there that she could witness then she might just go and not dress up. But being around sweets and all usually got her sick. But she might have to be dragged there to just be there for five minutes. Who knew. Hadan finally hopped up from the couch, and her eyes gazed over the presents as she made her way over to them. Hadan heard that Theodore might be dragging Aleyha over to the feast, and she thought, There would be no need to drag her. I am sure that she would go willingly. Hadan assisted in getting the presents down to the floor, and with a wave of her arm, she motioned for the seventh years to come around and sit in a circle so that they could watch. She was hoping that she would not have anything, from anyone. She did not like presents that much, but she loved to watch her sister get a lot of presents. Hadan smiled over at Alyssa, "I believe you. You don't suit the look of a slut anyway. But I do agree. Miriah, open my gifts first." She found her gag gift and then her real one. Of course, she was hoping that Aiden might get a kick with her gift. Hadan knew that she would.

Abbey continued to play with her wedding band around her ring finger. She liked being married, but she never got the dream wedding that she always wanted. Oh well. Abbey told Patricia, "I am not going because it was hard to find a costume," Abbey shrugged lightly, "and the husband probably thinks that the Halloween feast is lame or something." Abbey's eyes landed on Hadan as she got up to move about and to help get the presents down to the floor, and also for all of them to sit in a circle. Abbey slowly rose from the couch and she made her way down to the group, and she sat down. She continued to hold her stomach, and she felt her daughter kick her from within and move about. Hyper she was! Abbey brushed her brunette hair over her shoulder and she smiled lightly at the group. She felt a little nervous about being here. But she was doing much better and the motherly hormones were settling in, making her a rather pleasant person. But she was still a bit rude to the first years that commented to her. "You two have a lot to open up," Abbey murmured to both Hadan and Miriah. She even now could barely tell the difference between them, but Hadan looked meaner. She glanced at the presents, and she wondered who got who what.

Right now the last thing on Aiden’s mind was Halloween and the Halloween Ball or anything Halloween related, the fact that he was a small Halloween party was besides the point as they was hardly anything Halloween related here and because Theodore had made him go...not particularly because he wanted too. When Theodore called him ‘lover boy’ he narrowed his eyes and told him to shhh under his breath, he didn’t want to risk anyone to hear anything of the sort. He didn’t know which would be worse, Miriah or Hadan. Miriah because any feelings he had were directed towards her or Hadan because any feelings he had was directed towards her sister and it was no secret how Hadan felt about Aiden. When it came for the birthday girls to open their presents Aiden reluctantly sat on the floor beside Theodore, or rather behind him and to the side a bit so he wasn’t exactly sitting in the corner as he didn’t feel like part of the ‘group.’

Patricia listened in on everyone else’s reasons for going or not going to the Halloween Ball. She wasn’t going to force her opinions on anyone else, she wasn’t like that but she really wished that others in her year would be more enthusiastic about making the most out of their final year here at Hogwarts New Zealand. Patricia knew that no matter how close you may be to some people at school that friendship and bond may not always be there come graduation when everyone leaves and goes their separate ways, sure some bonds were stronger than that but for the few that weren’t it was times like this and the Halloween Ball to make as many memories as they could and maybe strengthen a few bonds that aren’t as tight as they could be so they could withstand the separation for Graduation. When Hadan mentioned time to open presents Patricia smiled softly as she sat down in a circle with everyone else. She didn’t know Hadan or Miriah as well as she would like too but she hoped they would like the presents that she had gotten them. With a few sweets in her hand she nibbled on them as she watched the two girls gather around their presents.
