Orwell was fuming, in a way he hadn't been angry in a while, but mostly it was because he couldn't believe they were asked to have done such a thing. The teen was glad that they now had a head of house so that he could go to him. After unsuccessfully finding him in the ravenclaw area, he stormed down to where he was sure he would find the man. Since he was both head of ravenclaw and deputy, and he knocked on the door before just entering the room, little regard for what house points that might cost him, because he was just so frustrated, "Professor," Orwell said as he faced the man, "I was just in a herbology class for seventh years, and we were asked to take a pod from a Snargaluff by ourselves, which is a highly dangerous thing to have any fully trained wizard do much less NEWT students," the ravenclaw continued facing the man not moving his gaze away from him, "And as you can see, I got cut by the plant, this is a unnecessarily dangerous lesson, why are we being forced to do it? Why isn't the school paying more attention to what the students are being made to do? It was cruel and unnecessary," Orwell finished, throwing the questions at the man, breathing deeply. He had pointed to the still red cut at his temple, which stood out starkly against his pale skin and currently white hair.

Justin had been preparing for the end of the year when he received a knock on his door, and he held back a small sigh when none other than Orwell Brocken walked in. He wondered what the student would be complaining about today, and had memories of when he had made a particularly brave outburst in Professor Styx's classroom. He gave the student a smile, hiding his annoyance that he had just strode into his office like he owned the place. "Hello Orwell," he started, and waving his wand he healed the cut on his head. "As you stated, that particular activity is difficult for Adults, so if people plan to move into Herbology as a full time profession they need to have at least some form of practice now." He finished, knowing full well that this would leave into an outburst from the student. "The professor is there to help you, did you approach him with your concerns or just come straight here?" He asked. It wasn't that he wasn't concerned about his students, but he knew that Orwell could be more than a smidge eccentric. He braced himself for the coming storm.

Orwell practically scoffed at the man, activity particularly difficult for adults, some would go into those fields, those things were both true but it wasn't like they would all end up in such jobs, and anyone who was ending up there would become properly trained for such a thing, it wouldn't be a bunch of just legal adults dealing with it on their own. He wondered now if they would've been allowed to use magic because that would've made sense but he hadn't actually asked about that, "I did bring it up, both myself and the head girl did," the boy informed him, if the issue wouldn't be addressed just because Orwell had not gone to the professor then it would be ridiculous, "And regardless of the fact people within the seventh year class might end up professionally working with such plants, then surely they would learn about that when they do any training for such a thing," the boy attempted press, "And perhaps the injuries could be minimal enough that light magic from the healers would fix it up so that's why we do it, but is that not perhaps a callous attitude from wizards? Ignoring that something could be potentially very dangerous because usually wizards can fix people up with minimal side effects," Orwell was sure that he was maybe stretching it a little. The chances of someone getting seriously dangerous were likely slim, but it was in Orwell's mind a point to be made. One thing could go wrong and it could far more dangerous than it already was, "Surely something like that, should be more closely monitored? I'm not arguing that we should get rid of the lesson, but if the school really wants it to exist, then more than the professor and a first aid kit should be present,"
