((I know I have kept this open, but I'd like it to be a pretty literate RP

Lemina walked down to the edge of the lakefront. It was late in the evening and the sun was just setting over the horizon. As it was a late summers evening in New Zealand, there was a warm glow to the air and bugs hovered around. The sky around Lemi was a bright orange colour and added a sense of vibrance to the whole scene. Lemi pulled out her camera and took a few photos of the setting sun. Almost as beautifal as back home. She put her camera back into it's case. Right now, she wasn't in the mood to take photographs. Not now.
Pulling off her flipflops, Lemina dipped her feet into the cool, refreshing waters of the lake and contemplated her life at Hogwarts.
I really can't understand how on earth the whole year went by in a blur. Everything sped by so quickly, it was, so, so unbelievable. I miss it. The carefree days of, of, first and second year. Becoming a prefect changed me, somehow. Or maybe it wasn't becoming a prefect. Maybe it was, it was, just growing older. All I know is that it is gone, all gone, and I can't get it back. Ever.
Sighing, she began to sing the song which her mother always sang to her when it seemed like there was no hope.
