Don't have one yet!
Kyndel was getting restless sitting in the house after her mother had put her little brother down for a nap so after getting permission the young brunette grabbed a few galleons from her money stash and headed out to Brightstone. Her father had been away on a business trip for several weeks so whenever she had a chance to get out of her mother's hair she usually took it. After buying several different treats from the candy store the young witch found a bench at the end of the road and took a seat, pulling her legs up indian style. She popped a piece of candy in her mouth before tearing into one of her chocolate frogs and pulling out the card. "Drats, another Vanderhol. I don't even like the stupid Wasps," she said out loud to no one in particular with a disgusted look on her face. Reaching in her bag she pulled out the small pouch where she kept all of her cards she collected. Turning on the bench she laid each card out one by one in front of her. At eleven years old she had quite a collection of cards that most people would be impressed with. She was hoping that eventually her brother would want to start collecting the cards as well and then they could trade, but as it were the only game the little five year old was interested in was Exploding Snap because of the loud sound it made. Maybe when I start school I'll make friends who collect these too she thought to herself as she started packing the cards back into the small pouch. Kyndel James was beyond ready to start Hogwarts and make new friends. The young witch was bored on her own at home with no one to play with.

Damon Kyle could never get unhappy when it came down to moving from home to home. While his family and ancestors were a mystery, Damon had a colorful past. He was fostered from home to home, and this time, his new home was in New Zealand. His American accent was still in tact, and he was from the good old towns of Georgia, as far as he could remember. Now he was in the new place, and it was amazing. There was so much he wanted to see, and he had seen the Pacific ocean for the first time in his life. Damon was just impressed. Walking around a place called Brightstone, Damon looked around with his brown eyes which were like pools of a dark honey. Damon was looking around for something to do, and right now, he was bored out of his mind. Drinking a muggle soda called Coca Cola, he knew that he was in a wizarding place. The fact that he was a wizard was awesome too! He just found out months ago when his foster parents from New Zealand told him so. That and he got an acceptance letter to Hogwarts New Zealand. How cool was that? It was totally rad! Damon could not wait! He continued to wonder the place, and he eventually found a candy store. "Oh, jackpot!" exclaimed Damon as he fished around in his pockets to see if he could find any money. Alas, his pockets were as dry as the Arizona desert. He sighed and he continued to walk along the cobblestone, drinking his soda from a glass bottle. There was nothing he could do without money, and sometimes it sucked to be on a really low budget. He didn't want to tell anyone how he got this soda.

The young boy was ready to ruin his kidneys, but he didn't really care. He lived for today, and had as much fun as he humanly could. Damon continued to look around for something to do. There was a playground in the area, and then there were other stores. But he didn't have any money to go shopping. Whatever, he didn't care. Damon looked up at the sky, and he was looking at the clouds. His shoes, neatly untied, managed to turn against him and made him trip and fall while he was not paying attention. He had tripped behind a bench, with a girl sitting on it. Damon quickly got on his feet, and he saw that the girl was blonde. That was cool. He poked her on the shoulder, and he grinned, "Hiya! Whatcha doing?" A bright smile was on his facial expression, and his hair was a mess, but he didn't care. Since when did guys care about their appearance in front of girls? He sure didn't!

Kyndel was just about to pack up and call it a day when she heard a commotion from behind the bench she was sitting on. Her brow furrowed slightly as she looked over just in time to see a boy about her age tap her on the shoulder. Shielding her eyes from the sun she looked up at him and grinned. "Oh, you know, just sitting here waiting for unsuspecting pedestrians to trip and fall behind me. All in a days work I suppose. You okay," she asked as an after thought, hoping that the boy wasn't too seriously injured because then it wouldn't be funny anymore. Holding up the little pouch she waved it in front of him and said, "I'm just going through my card collection. You wanna see?" She was hoping that he did and even more so she was hoping that he collected them too. Maybe they could trade and stuff like that. That was what friends did, right? They shared things like this. Maybe this boy could be her new friend. Kyndel and...she didn't know his name. Kyndel and 'boy with floppy hair' could be best friends forever. Okay Kyndel don't get ahead of yourself here she thought with a smirk. "So you got a name or something," she asked as she popped a piece of gum in her mouth, chewing loudly and as an after thought she held up the pack. "Want a piece?"

Damon almost flushed a brilliant red when the girl pointed out that he had tripped, but what she said made him laugh, before he nodded, "Of course I am okay! Can't say much for my coke." His bottle had smashed all over the cobblestone, and it was not something that he wanted to pick up. Broken glass, someone magical would pick it up anyway. He would get another drink later, when he is feeling lucky enough to go get one. He doubted that he would tell many about what he had been through and such. The smaller boy could see that she held up a little pouch, and though she waved it, he could still see it. She was going through a card collection? How awesome! Damon was super excited! Damon quickly went around the bench and plopped down next to the girl so that he could get a better look at the cards. When Damon looked closer at the cards, he thought that they were moving or something, he had never seen cards like that before. "Are they...moving? What type of cards are they?" Damon was raised like a muggle, so this world was completely new to him. It wasn't like he was going to know everything in one go, but he was amazed. He knew that he was a wizard because of the letter he got from Hogwarts New Zealand. All that he knew was that he wanted to have some of those things. He would want to collect them himself, once he figured out how to. "It is Damon Kyle, what about yours?" said the future first year with a silly grin. The girl was really cool with cards and stuff, but he didn't know much of what they were. She popped some gum into her mouth, and offered him a piece. "Sure! And thanks!" Damon slowly took the pack, retrieved one piece, before handing her the pack back. He tore the piece in half before he popped both into his mouth and started to chew. He was always having weird habits.
