Jemma was in her dorm, sitting on her bed, she was very bored. She walked decided to walk down to the Lake, to soak up some sun. So she pulled her pjs off, and pulled on some purple tights, a black skirt, and a purple and black vest top, and some black pumps. She clipped in her hair extensions, put in her pink contacts and walked down to the lake.

When she got down there, she sat on the grass, looking out into the lake. After a while, she was bored again, so she began pickinng grass out of the ground, hoping someone would join her.

After being fixed up by the nurse Beau was once again back to his normal self. There was still a slight bump from where Scorpious had broken his nose but other then that you wouldn't even be able to tell that yesterday he had been covered in blood and bruises. He was fed up of being cooped up inside and so he headed down to the lakefront. He still wasn't fond of the place, the water was too still for his liking.
Once he was down at the waterfront he spotted a girl he had seen from a few of his classes, recognising her as a Slytherin he walked over, "Hey, mind if I join you?" he asked, sitting beside her, "I'm Beau," he added.

Jemma looked round and saw a guy sitting next to her, 'Sure,' Jemma said, 'Nice to meer you, Im Jemma, but you can call me Jem, or Jems.'

'Im in slytherin, first year.' Jemma said, usually she would be stuck up, and act like she was way more important than anyone in this place, but Beau was cute, so Jemma decided it would be best to act normal, like Steph had told her.

"Nice to meet you Jems," Beau said smiling, he was being unusually friendly he wondered why that was. Usually he would have been cold and distant, maybe it was because he had seen her around. "Same," he said nodding. His eyes swept over her face, and he realised she was actually really pretty. "So Jems, how you finding HNZ?" he asked, her name rolling off his toungue in a strange way as his British accent seemed to soften.

'Oh yer'no,' Jemma thought about what to say, 'Well, i guess it amazes me, my mom and dad never really let me know much about the wizarding world.'

Jemma's parents used to be death eaters, and Jem was pretty sure they still were. She never used to see them, or spend time with them, they always packed her off to a muggle bourding school. And barely spoke to her at all.

'How about you?' Jemma asked, flashing him a smile, 'Enjoying it here?'

Beau smiled, "Good," he said. "Yeah its great," he said, "A bit different to what I expected but still it's nice," he said, he had expected it to be a bit grander, but still it was a great place. "Pleased to be in Slytherin?" he asked, pride filling his own voice as he mentioned it, he returned her smile with his own speciality smile.

'Hell yeah!' Jems said in her heavy american accent. 'If i was in any other house, i probably wouldnt of tranfered to Beaxbatons.' Jem laughed, noticing the pride in Beau's voice, she said, 'Your happy with being in Slytherin, i can tell.'

Jem grinned, and flicked her extension over her shoulder, and began making a daisy chain, she used to love making jewellry, when she was at the boarding school, and a daisy chain was the closest she could get to real jewelrry, until her mother sent her, the crystals and chains.

'Yeah i am,' Jems smiled, 'And your from the UK?' She asked.

Jem turned to him, a smile on her face.

"Nice, "Beau said, he had visited California once or twice before and enjoyed it, "London," he said, "I don't actually live there anymore though, I moved out here a couple of months back," he said. "Got any relations here?" he asked, he hadn't met many people with older siblings in the school yet which suprised him.

Jemma smiled, 'Yeah it is nice.' She agreed, 'London? I went there once, with my friends.' Jemma smiled, remembering their trip.

'No, im an only child, mom and dad went to Scotland. So i guess im the first in the family to come here,' Jemma said, with a small smile, 'How about you?'

'Hm, rain.' Jemma laughing, 'I hate rain, anything wet, just, ugh.' She really did hate rain, it was cold, and wet and made everyone feel down.

'Its not bad,' Jemma said, refering to her being an only child, and the fact her parents just threw money at her. 'I guess i get really lonely,' Suddenly Jemma realized she was letting someone see her real side, 'Um, not than im bothered of course.' She added quickly.

"Anything wet? Guess your not into surfing then?" Beau said laughing. "Yeah I imagine it must get kind of lonely," he said shrugging, slightly suprised that she seemed to want to hide the fact that she got lonely, it seemed kind of normal to him. "Not in my house, three brothers is not as cool as it sounds," he said.

'I admit surfing isnt bad, but if its cold and falls from the sky, its a no-no!' Jemma laughed. 'Hmm, i guess. But at least you've got people with you,' Jemma said, she had always wanted a sister, or someone to spend time with when she was alone in Calafornia, and her mom and dad were on trips.

'So tell me about your parents.' Jemma said, wanting to know as much as possible.

Jemma smiled slightly, 'My parents.. Humph, well i never see much of mom and dad, they sent me off to boarding school as soon i was able to walk.' Jemma smiled, to hopefully show she wasnt bothered.

'The minustry? Awesome.' Jemma said, trying to sound enthusiastic, her mom had always told her that the minustry was going to the dogs, and not to trust them. But maybe her mom was wrong? Jemma had never dared to ask her why she thought this.

'Uh, lessons,' Jemma repeated, 'Hm, i guess they're okay, a bit boring but okay. How about you? Enjoying it?' She laughed, pulling up grass again.

'Yeah its so strange,' Jemma smiled, 'Things are different here, people from Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, look so young.' She laughed.

Jemma laughed, 'No not yet, im not sure i want to.' She laughed again, 'They walk around like they so young, and i know most of them are 11 or 12, but they act six years old.'
