[etymology] The first name Sidney means from a wide island which would give off the impression of a handsome and kind-hearted man. The first name's impression completely fits Sidney to many levels, considering that he is somewhat handsome, and he is very kind indeed. The middle name Marcus means warlike. It gives off the impression of an athletic, handsome, fun-loving, sensitive chap. While his character is not warlike at all, he is athletic because he runs and he used to do hurdles, very fun-loving, and somewhat sensitive, which would make him prey to bullies. The surname Carver means to cut or carve. The surname originated in England.
[origin] The surname Carver has originated in England, and it goes back to the late 1700s, all other records have been lost beforehand. The Carver family that Sidney is from are mixed-blood wizards, as they had never had a pure-blood relative descend from it as they had all come from mixed backgrounds of half-bloods, mixed-bloods and muggle-borns. They had fought against Voldemort in the wars, but they remained to themselves for the most part. While the last name itself is common with several varieties, the brand of Carvers that Sidney are from are mostly magical, and tend to stay out of the business of others.

[personality] Sidney is very nice, and pleasant. He like everyone has flaws. Sidney is first and foremost very imaginative. He has this creative mind where he often forgets what is real and what isn't. He loves to live in a fantasy world where things only make sense to him. Magic helps with his creative world where nothing goes wrong, and anything that does gets locked inside of the back of his mind. He is also very brave, except when someone puts him in a room full of spiders and clowns, where he will run away screaming. He is very friendly, and he will put his friends first before himself. He is also naive, and easily to be tricked. It is rather hard to find him mad, but when he is mad, he will react on impulse. Since he is young, he will not fight.

[likes] There are many things that have Sidney's interests. He enjoys to play outside, whether it is with himself or no. He also enjoys fantasy and anything that is not exactly real nor would ever be real. He enjoys many outdoor activities that would include flying, running, swimming and most sports. However when it is rainy outside, he will also do what he loves which is drawing, coloring, cooking, singing and playing guitar. So he is a creative kid, and will continue to do everything he can creatively.
[dislikes] Despite what all he likes, there will always be dislikes. He absolutely cannot stand bullies. They get on his nerves all of the time, and he also dislikes mud, although when playing sports he will not mind that one. He tends to hate bugs, and reality because it is not what he plans on living in, or making or shaping his own reality. He really does not like homework at all. He tends to dislike scary stories or stories without happy endings. He also hates snakes, spiders and clowns.

He can be good at charms and spells. He will often put others before himself. Always. He also has this fire to stand up to bullies as well. He is rather brave, and this bravery could lead him to do what is right, when it is the best time to do so. He also has a strength in balance, and he can balance on just about anything. He can shoot a bow and arrow as well as perform stunts on motorcycles. When it comes to magic, he has a strength in anything defensive.
[weaknesses] Sidney can be a little spacy, and not pay attention to what is real and what is not. However he can be somewhat weak minded, and an easy target for bullies, but then they spark the Gryffindor in him. He also has the weakness of taking things a bit too far and he often gets over his head. He does not realize that he can be hurt at times, and then he often will not refuse help. His arrogance can lead him down the wrong path as well. He does not wish that would ever happen but sometimes it just does. Sidney is also very weak in Potions, will often blow things up. Sidney is very naive, which at times, he will need someone to explain things to him.
