Shopping Trip?

[Scorpius Knight]

Scorpius walked down the streets with his navy blue hoodie over his head and his hands stuffed in his pocket. He kicked the snow on the ground below him absentmindedly, he wasn't really looking forward to doing this, but he hoped that with Prince's company it'd be less painful. He leaned against the wall with one foot, of the nearest store as he waited for his best friend to join him soon.

Sam was dreading today, he had to shop for Jenn. This was going to be tricky but Knight was going to be there with him and he was also in the same boat. He threw on his shirt and headed out to meet Knight in Brightstone.

Sam managed to walk through the busy Christmas-Shoppers crowd to find Knight leaning up against a wall. "Hey." he said a little gloomily. Sam looked around hopelessly at all the shops that may or may not have a thing that Jenn wants. "Ready?" he asked just as gloomy as before.

Scorpius looked up at the sound of feet shuffling and heard his best friend's familiar voice say hey. He smiled lightly and and nodded his head when he asked if he was ready. Leaning away from the wall he began walking down the street with his hands in his pocket, looking up at the stores, wondering which store they should enter first.

He noticed the gloomy tone in Prince's voice and said, "Hey, I know this isn't the way we want to spend our afternoon, but it can't possibly be that bad." He grinned hopefully at his best friend, hoping to cheer him up slightly. "Besides, if we hurry we can still do something else afterward," he suggested with an even brighter grin. Of course there was also that personal bright side of theirs that if they got something good for their girlfriends they'd be extremely pleased with them, that was something to look forward to right? Now if only they could find a suitable gift.

Sam shrugged, "I suppose your right." Sam continued to walk alongside Knight looking through shops they were passing by, something for- anything for Jenn and Luna. He then spotted a shop with clothes in one window and Jewelery in the other. "What about in here?" Sam asked Scorpius stepping back to read the name. "Madam Malkins & James Jewelery?" Sam continued to peer in the windows.

Scorpius clapped Sam on the shoulder as he agreed with him and the two continued to walk down the street. When Prince finally suggested a store, Scorpius looked at the display windows. "Sounds good," he said with a light shrug and a half-hopeful smile. He went up to the door and held it open, playfully saying "After you," to Prince.
