Shopping Assistants?

Hi,

I've seen that a few epople are shop assistants and I was wondering, how exactly do you get to become one? I'm really confused; do the shop owners request for one or something?

Generally, before the shopping system became more awesome, we RPed out shopping (not saying that we don't now, but some prefer not to).
Shopkeepers, such as Lily Drage, puts up an ad to hire an assistant. Some people go in there and apply, and then she chooses. When the assistant is chosen, they can RP being the person to help out the customer. Whether or not there will be more assistants or not, there is untelling, but it is mainly up to the Shopkeeper.
