Full Name: Seraina Valkana (Her name means tranquillity and peacefulness and has italian origins. Her surname is a typical greek one, common in Sparta)
Date of Birth: 18th December 2011
Current Age: 14, she'll become 15 in a few weeks.
Basic Appearance: Quite tall, skinny, nice long legs, light brown wavy hair with some blonde highlights, chocolate-brown eyes.
Personality: Seraina could be described with one word as an optimist. Although grown up in an orphanage she's really thankful for the love she received from the ladies of the institute. She became a caring person with a lovely and kind attitude. Really smart and resourcefull, maybe because she's a bookworm and seeks always for knowledge for anything new she faces in her life. She's shy but eventually she feels comfortable and reveals her bubbly, warm side. She might be a humble and quiet person at first look but if she has to, she will stand for herself, becoming from a cutty little kitten to a wild alleycat. As a perfectionist she doesn't know what means giving up. She's a fighter in life, determined to live every moment in the way she wants.
Family: She grew up in an orphanage in Sparta, Greece. She doesn't know anything about her family. However, there is a man with the name Silas, whom according to him, is her current guardian. He only comes in touch with Seraina with owl mails. He was the one that informed her about her heritage, her special gift, followed by a letter, inviting her in a magical school. Any questions asked about who is he, what happened to her family and how she ended up in an orphanage, were avoided in his letters. He insisted, saying that she'll learn whatever she wants soon but first she had to follow his instructions. She did so and attended at the Olympian House of Witchcraft Mastery. Everything she needed from financial support to permissions for school staff, were provided from her guardian. She got used to his unusual presence and started following blindly his instructions and advices, as she was grateful for the new word she was introduced. She was feeling and hoping that the mysterious man was the first piece of her past's puzzle. After her fourth year, her guardian informed her that her education was going to be continued abroad, in New Zealand. Seraina was really wondering at the beginning about this sudden change in her life. Her introduction in magical world was quite of a sudden too but go abroad was something unexpected. She agreed to follow her guardian's demand, who seemed that had communicated with her new school, found her transportation and a place to stay until the beggining of the new semester. As a smart person, Seraina realised that her guardian was preparing her for their first, in person meet. She currently believes that her mysterious guardian resides in New Zealand.
Pets: She has a short-haired black cat named Midnight with dazzling emerald eyes. She doesn't have an owl but when her guardian sends her mails, she receives them from a barn owl with coal-black eyes. She's calling her Palebeack although it's not propably her real name.
Area of Residence: Currently in Auckland, New Zealand.
Blood Status: She has no idea about her blood status. She believes that propably at least one of her parents was a wizard/witch. Her guardian hasn't said a word about it but she knows that he is a wizard.
Heritage: Propably Greek/Italian from her name and surname.
Special Abilities: Nothing that she knows of.
Interests or Hobbies: Seraina loves reading, books are like a portal to another world for her. Finds poetry and philosophy interesting. She's keen on fashion but not overexcited. She loves creativity and finds different ways to express that need by writing, drawing and crafting. Loves so much ice-skating that she even created a spell that conjures ice blades attached under the user's shoes. She likes flying as it makes her feel free and escapes from all her troubles.
She seems interested in wand-crafting as well in healing and defensive magic. Traveling, is her life dream. She wants to travel all around the world and learn about the magic used in different cultures. She have studied about greek magic like defixiones (curse tablets), egyptian magic like protection and defense circles and now she will be able to study the maori magic of omens.

Hogwarts House: Her personality would do for a ravenclaw. She couldn even be a hufflepuff. Not a slytherin though.
Hogwarts Hopes and Ambitions: She would like to do well in all her subjects and why not, one day become a prefect.
Best school subjects: She likes Defence Against the Dark Arts a lot but she likes all the subjects. In her last school she really enjoyed the Mythology lesson.
Worst school subjects: Not exactly worst but she is not really enthusiastic about muggle studies as she lived part of her life in the muggle world and already knows this kind of knowledge.
Graduation: She saves money to have a huge journey around the world after her graduation.
