Shaylah stood on the fence looking out over the harbor. The last time she had been here she had been with her dad. Now he was gone. She didn't know how she was going to cope without him. He had always been there or her. Getting her what she wanted and looking after her when she needed someone to comfort her.
She sighed and sat down so she was leaning on the bars and looking through them. She hated how much her anger had taken over her but she couldn't control it. Everytime someone even looked at her, she just flipped. Sydney was the only one who seemed to be able to keep her under control and it scared her.
Shaylah jumped out o her skin when she heard someone. Then she realised she knew him. All she could do was wish and prey. Don't hurt him Shaylah. He's you're friend. Don't hurt him. She hoped it was enough to stop the thoughts which were going through her mind. "Sam??" She wanted to sound ok but her voice came out shakey and uncontrolled.
