Rephael was relieved. He was out of Durmstrang for the winter break, and he had decided to come and visit his brothers, which where many. He had eleven brothers, and two sisters, and he was not even about to think of all of their names even though he knew them by heart. Rephael, however was not the nicer of the brothers. In fact, he was one of the meanest. Tristane was the nicest, and then there was the two oldest ones which were not that bad. However the rest of them were horrible. He knew that the worst one was Sethos. He had the hair, the looks, he could have any woman he wanted. Rephael was not that bad of a looker, but his brothers, they were all handsome in their own way, it was hard to compare them all. Their father was a looker, as was their mother. There was nothing he was ashamed of, but right now, he could have most of his family die, and he wouldn't even blink. His girlfriend of four years had cheated on him with five guys, and two girls, so imagine that. Rephael thought that they really had something, but he learned that he can't trust a damn soul now. Rephael regretted ever being with that witch. He hated his ex now, and he wanted a break. Which was why he was here in New Zealand, where his hoodie was not even needed in this weather. It was far too warm for him, and he removed his hoodie immediately. He wanted to get something cold to drink, or even get wasted, he didn't care. What happened when one was dumped even though the dumper managed to cheat so many times? Rephael was not the best boyfriend, but hell, he gave her stuff, and even kept his hair shorter for her.

All of that was over now. His hair was longer, his amber eyes shown with ferocity as though they were on fire, and could shot fire. However that was impossible, even for a dragon. Nothing could shoot fire from its eyes. Rephael rolled his eyes and he entered the local coffee shop just off of Brightstone, where he went in and he found a couch. He spotted it, and he went to get something to drink. He got a coffee and he went over to sit on the couch. Rephael sank down into the brown couch, and he took a sip of his coffee, as he closed his amber eyes. He didn't want anyone to bother him, and it was obvious. He was sitting in the middle of the couch, where he felt like he was hogging it. Anyone that wanted this, they could just wait. He didn't want anyone to have this but him. Rephael was in a sour mood, and he was not going to bother with anyone today. However the fates had something else in mind. Rephael started to plan revenge against his ex. He did not know how he would do it, but he would. His outfit was nothing special, but his jeans alone cost more than the couch. Drinking his coffee some more, ideas of getting the wh*re back rushed through his mind, but nothing ideal was going to be good enough. He needed to think of something, and soon. This was driving the seventh year insane.

Bella walked down the street of Brightstone, soaking up the warm sunshine. It was such a lovely month of the year, picking her downtrodden mood up ever so slightly. Merlin was being thanked a thousand times over for it being holidays at the moment. The Slytherin Prefect had been a foul mood lately...which had consisted the last two years of her life. Bella didn't know why she didn't expect it of the bastard; hell he had left his previous engagement to be with another girl. Her now ex-boyfriend was one floozy droozy. But his disappearance from the school in no way helped her mood. There wasn't any warning - he had just left. Xavier Littlefield had come back for a couple of months at one point, in which Bella had screamed at him, but then he left again. She had come down one rainy morning, and by breakfast the anger had settled into her skin again, knowing that the same thing had happened.
Ever since that day, the young White had been brutal to anyone that annoyed her. She couldn't think of a way to get back at him, because he wasn't around. Bella was sure seeing another guy would help, but everyone at Hogwarts didn't compare to the boy that was once hers. She shook the thought out of her head, he didn't matter anymore.
Noticing a cute coffee shop around the bend, Bella decided to get her beautiful skin out of the sun, and get a water to cool down. Upon entering, Bella noticed a couch, and mentally claimed it as her own. She swiftly walked up to the counter and after purchasing a bottled water, made her way over to her couch. However, it seemed to be occupied. A handsome boy sat in her couch. It was a bittersweet feeling, with butterflies immediately taking their old place in her stomach, but angry came too. This was her seat!
"Excuse me, I am sure that you may not have realized, but that couch is my seat. So if you could move along, there won't be any drama." She smiled sweetly.

Rephael simply looked up when he heard someone was speaking to him, a girl's voice. His amber eyes floated up to see exactly who he was talking to. He narrowed them immediately. Who did this girl think he was, some gentleman that he was going to just let her sit down on the couch that he had beat her to? No, he was not about to give his seat up for anything or anyone. He took a sip from his coffee before he debated on whether or not he should really look at the girl. And then he made the mistake and doing so. Like many other men, he had a weakness to seeing a pretty girl in front of him. She looked tough too, but her voice was just sweet. He was just reminded of his ex-girlfriend, all looks and no brains or bite. He wanted someone with a bite. Rephael took one more drink of his coffee before he recalled on these New Zealand girls. They were always something, but he never knew the answer. They could not be trusted. He believed that. He did not want to have anything to do with them, unless they made him believe that they needed to be paid attention to.

Looking on the couch, Rephael finally gave her words, his accent laced with deep Russian, "I see no name on this couch. However there is one across the room that has the word 'b*tch' on it. I'm sure that one is just for you." Rephael however moved a little bit so that he was leaning against the arm. If she wanted to have a seat, she would have to put up with being next to him. Would she even bother with trying to do so? Rephael moved his hair from his amber eyes, looking at the blonde woman. She seemed somewhat familiar, but he didn't know her. If he could recognize anything, it was voices and never the faces. Had she threatened him before? He doubted that. Rephael was in Durmstrang so he did not know anyone here, and he doubted that he would bother to get to know anyone here unless he was greatly impressed with what someone had to say to him in order to get his attention. After being burned by his ex, he was not looking forward to anything more than sweet revenge. Rephael doubted that any of his brothers would help him, but he wanted to make the girl jealous.

The blonde tapped her foot impatiently as the boy in front of her slowly took sips of his drink. Her narrowed eyes watched the boy's every move carefully and her eyes locked on his when he gazed up at her. His amber eyes seemed to draw her in, his foreign look very appealing. Isabella was sick to death with New Zealand boys, and every blonde one reminded her of her stupid Xavier. She mentally shook the thought out of her head - he wasn't hers anymore. The longer the handsome boy took, the more frustrated Bella grew. She huffed and swept her blonde hair out of her face. It was half in her mind to empty her water bottle on his head, but her hands hadn't even thought of moving before a Russian accent flew out of the boys mouth. The Slytherin raised her eyebrows, shocked at the boy's reply. It took some balls to speak to Bella like that, hell, even for a guy to speak to a girl like that.
Still, the guy was attractive.
Isabella's hazel eyes didn't move from the boy's face, even to look at the seat he was pointing at. A smirk grew on her perfectly glossed lips as she faked a confused look. "I'm sorry, what did you say? Your accent doesn't belong here, why don't you go back to your country." Bella snapped, but sitting next to him nonetheless. Isabella put her bag at her feet, glaring at the boy as if daring him to touch it. She took a sip of her water before leaning against her side of the couch, away from the boy. She sat in silence, knowing she was stubborn enough to not break the ice. Though, if the blonde wanted to stretch out on the couch, she wasn't going to hesitate to put take her heels off, and put her manicured toes near the boy. Bella smiled at the thought.

Rephael could hear the soft sounds of the tap tap tap of her foot onto the floor. He had half a mind to pull out his wand and curse her into next year, since it was so soon anyhow. He knew the Dark Arts, of course, he doubted that anyone around here even knew the phrase. Durmstrang held strong when it came to their traditions, something he would never back down from. If only he had not gone soft around that b*tch of an ex-girlfriend. When she asked what he had said, he gave her a weird look before he said in a bold tone, "Did I f**king stutter?" However the comment on how he should go back to his home country made him snort. Oh he would love to return to Russia but the issue was, his brothers lived here in this ungodly warm country. At least the blonde did not nearly appear as stupid as she looked. Rephael moved over a bit toward the arm when she decided to take a seat next to him. There was so much going through his mind right now, like how he can get away, and how he should go home but then he and his brothers would have a fight, and then there was the rumors of Sethos still in that mental institute. His family was not doing so hot.

"I would love to go back to my home land, believe me. This place, full of wretched mudbloods and the like. Not that what I am doing here is any of your business, girl," shrugged the seventh year as he drank from his cup. He hated it here and he was letting everyone he could know about it. Rephael looked ahead before he finished his drink, and set it down in the floor by his feet. He had no business with anyone here, but he felt as though there was something wrong with him. Or rather, something wrong with the look of those two sitting next to each other. It almost made him shudder. However he did not do anything about it, and he was sitting in silence. Rephael didn't want to talk unless he had to. And he refused to start a conversation with someone that could fake things, but have a bite during. It was interesting, and he did admire that, but he was too damn stubborn to ever admit it. And he never wanted to, unless someone Imperio'd it out of him or used that one truth potion that could make him spill everything under the sun about him. Rephael preferred to remain this dark mysterious man, but he was doing a piss poor job at it. He was already making a scene.

Bella barely blinked as the boy swore at her again. She wasn't sure why the boy was being bitter towards her but she shrugged it off. The blonde would never swear back at the boy unless he sincerely pissed her off. She found it incredibly un-lady like, but did not mind men doing it. Bella rolled her hazel eyes as the boy gave her a weird look, un-fazed by his behavior. She did, however notice the movement he made to get away from her. She laughed quietly before commenting on it. "I don't bite you know." Much. She thought with a smirk. It was quite true. Bella's bark was definitely louder than her bite; Bella hated any form of physical confrontation. The only physical business she got herself involved in was romantic.
Bella watched the boy as he commented on how he would prefer to get away from New Zealand. Bella had felt that way when she first arrived in New Zealand, she yearned to be back in California, but she had grown to be happy with the temperamental weather and beautiful green landscape. The Slytherin would still love to go back to California, but she hadn't thought about leaving since she met Xavier. Bella would have followed him wherever he went, to any country; though she supposed she would do that for any boy she loved. The blonde frowned at the thought of Xavier, a pang of sadness hitting her. Bella missed the feeling of being loved. She had grown up, used to being alone. But after being with Xavier, she realized she needed a man; she needed security and companionship. When the boy said that why he that the reason he was here was none of her business, Bella snorted. "Don't flatter yourself. I did not ask you why you are here. But I am curious - why not just go back?" The blonde asked.

Rephael looked over at the girl before he rolled his eyes in one of the most obvious manner that he could possibly think of. She didn't bite. Like he cared what all she wanted to put her teeth to. That was her business, not his. Truth be told, he didn't want to be here, but the drink that he had finished was too damn good. He was too prideful to let some girl chase him from the coffee place. That would show weakness, and as a Matthias, he was anything but, until Sethos was released from his mental state, then everything went to hell and back. It was never pretty, and Rephael dreaded the day when Sethos would come back. 'Why can't we have a normal family? Easy, our father doesn't even know what protection is,' growled Rephael in his mind. There was nothing worse than a father that could produce so many children, all at once too. Well, one after another more or less. It was not his cup of tea. He hoped he never had children. He would not be like his father. Before turning his amber eyes to the blonde, he shrugged, "Like I care if you bite or not." He was telling the truth this time, and he did not even swear, and that was rare for the seventh year Durmstrang kid. What shocked him was the fact that she did not even seem fazed by his rudeness to her. That was somewhat interesting. He was expecting her to go running to her little boyfriend or something, and then he could fight someone to help him get over his anger of his ex-girlfriend. The girl that destroyed him.

Rephael got up and he got himself another drink, this time a latte, where he sat back down next to the blonde. This was his seat and he was not about to give it up to her either. Knowing her, she probably went to the same school as his little brother Troxa had. That school was just... Rephael hated it with a passion. Last he heard, they could not even hire a Headmaster or Headmistress, and that was sad. He was quite pleased with the school that he was going to. His amber eyes hovered over to the girl and he raised an eyebrow. What was the difference? English was somewhat difficult for him to understand fully before he thought over what she had said. Oh. Rephael let out a sigh after drinking from his latte. "Family is here. For some reason." He did not feel the need to mention that his little brother attended the school there. She might want to talk more, or worse, she knew him. Troxa was not the brightest, but he was getting to be more like Tristane. Tristane was not that bad, but Rephael favored Zion over them all. His little brothers were annoying, and he couldn't help Levent. Levent was broken, and in his opinion, he could never be fixed. Rephael was a pessimist, but sometimes he felt like he could help, if Levent wasn't so distant.

Isabella noticed the boy look over to her, before replying with a snarky comment. The Slytherin Prefect shook her head at his response. The boy was so rude, she had never experienced a boy being so cold to her. Bella was unsure how to feel about it; it was a breath of fresh air but it was something she didn't understand. The blonde liked it when guys were confident and stood up for themselves, but she didn't like it when it was at her cost. "What the hell is your problem?" She responded, rolling her eyes. She crossed her legs, folding her arms after taking a sip of her water. Isabella wished she was still with Xavier. Then she would be able to tell him about the rude guy sitting next to her, and he would stand up for her. It would make her feel special, and loved again. Though, she supposed if she was still with him, she wouldn't be sulking.
Isabella noticed the handsome boy get up and leave. She relaxed a little and breathed out, realizing how tense he made her. But a sudden emotion of loneliness hit her. Even if the guy was horrendous, he was still company. She rested her elbow on the arm of the chair, her chin in the palm of her hand. Isabella was gutted, but fought the waterworks that were threatening to come. How lame would she look, sitting in a cafe', crying? Bella shook her head once more, wishing she had bought a hot chocolate, rather than water. However, the blonde wasn't about to leave, as she felt the presence of another person there. Isabella turned around to tell the person to leave her be, before she realized it was the same boy. Her hazel eyes rolled again, and she moved back to her position, crossed legs and folded arms.
Isabella heard the boy speak again and she looked at him. She didn't full understand why his family being here meant he had to be. Of course, she moved to New Zealand with her father, but she was young at that point, and had no choice. Her father had left her alone quite a few times at their manor; neither of them really wanted Bella to be on his business trips. "Why not grow up then, and stop following your family around like a lost little boy?" Bella snarled.

Rephael glanced over at her, and he took a sip of his drink before he smirked even more. She wanted to know what his problem was. Would she even care that his life had gone to hell? Would she even understand what it was like being cheated on? He doubted it. He figured that she would have been the one that was doing all of the cheating. Stupid blondes. It was unfair really, but he was angry and hurt. Rephael rolled his head back, and his amber eyes looked up at the ceiling, "I don't think you'd want to know. But getting cheated on makes me a very unlikable person." Well, he spilled just part of his story, and that was all. He didn't want to get into it, and the darkened expression that fell over his face told that he was not normally this much of a jerk. He normally was a jerk, but he was going overboard. Tristane would have smacked him and he knew it. His family was split into three parts, with his mother and sisters off doing who knew what, and then his brothers living together, and his dad and a handful of other brothers as well. Rephael wondered if they would ever be whole again.

The seventh year Durmstrang lad just wanted some quiet, and he closed his amber eyes, willing not to see the ex that had burned him so much. Rephael wanted his family to understand him, but let's face it, he was the shadow. He was not someone that anyone cared too much about because he was always in the background. When she said that he ought to grow up and stop following his family around like a lost little boy, he started to laugh. A good laugh, laced with sarcasm as well, or some sort of mockery. Rephael opened his amber eyes and he looked over at the girl before he said, "I happen to still be in school. So do tell me how I can have a house, work a job and attend school all at once? I prefer not to drop out and become a worthless slug, thank you." Rephael had to live with his brothers until he earned enough to move out, but a part of him wanted to stick close to those that he could trust. Tristane was the best leader, but when Sethos was around, that was a completely different story. Who would actually understand that?

The Prefect's angry expression softened immediately after she heard what the boy had said. Getting cheated on? That would royally suck. Isabella tilted her head in compassion as she understood what heartbreak felt like. The Slytherin had never been cheated on before, but she couldn't imagine the anger she would feel, but the absolute sadness also. One thing was for certain, and that would be that she would want revenge on the boy that did that to her. Isabella wasn't one to usually feel compassion for someone; hell, she didn't even feel bad when Xavier cheated on Eleona with her, but she did for the boy in front of her. Maybe it was because she was going through a rough stage as well. Bella relaxed her rigid posture and turned slightly towards the boy, placing her hand on the couch in front of her. "That really sucks. That girl must have been idiotic to do that to you. But don't take your anger out on me. You boys aren't all that fantastic either." She finished sourly. Bella noticed his dark expression, and shook her head softly. "If you need to get it off your chest, or talk about it I won't hold it against you." Bella uncharacteristically said. She wonder why she said it, but supposed, she always had a soft spot for moody boys; especially if they opened up to her.
If anyone looked upon the two, they would probably notice the tension between them. But as time slowly rolled on, Bella felt less and less awkward with the boy sitting next to her. Bella subconsciously made a decision that if the boy next to her left, she would find someone else to bother. Now that she had company, she didn't have any desire to be alone. The blonde's hazel eyes narrowed when she heard the sarcastic laugh from the boy. She rolled her eyes at his answer. "I'm barely around my dad. He goes away all the time, and I don't follow him around. And I also have a part-time job, and I'm managing." Bella replied smugly. It was nice for her to be able to be proud of having a job. It wasn't something that she really wanted, or wanted to do for her life. Bella definitely preferred the stereo-typical role of being a woman - the home maker; the husband being the bread-winner. But if it were something she could brag about, she would.

Seeing her body reaction like he just witnessed, it made the Matthias brother think if she had seen or been through something like that. Perhaps not, but Rephael never knew. All he knew was that girls tend to be liars, cheaters and possibly b*tches. He thought about swearing them off for good, but there was just so much that would require. He would have to get into guys, and that was not going to happen either. Not ever. At least now she knew about him and what his deal was. Not that Rephael really cared about what his deal was, she might have because he was wrongly taking it out on her, and he didn't know what to do about it either. Rephael noticed that the blonde looked more relaxed now, and he let out a sigh, a signal that he was still bothered somewhat by it. It was not fair, and he didn't know what to do about it. He smirked a bit, before he wondered if she had been hurt or something by a boy recently, "Fine, I won't take it out on you. She was an idiot, but well, hid it for years... Anyway, what makes you say that us boys are all that fantastic? Were you cheated on or something?" Now that would have been something. However he doubted that it would have been true. Did that happen a lot? He doubted it.

The Durmstrang seventh year was completely amused, but he was still irritated as hell right now. He didn't want to be here, and he hated this country, but he could do nothing about it until there was a job available, and he could seek employment. He just did not know what he wanted to do. Rephael looked over at the rest of the place with his cold, amber eyes, seeing that people were staring to some extent, like there would be someone to throw a punch. That would not be him. He was nothing like Sethos. Sethos scared him. Levent had to deal with Sethos more than he did though. Rephael was lucky enough to not be graduated, yet. When she started to tell him that stuff, and he narrowed his eyes. She basically told him her life story, and he didn't even ask for it. He then made sure nothing was in his hands before he clapped, "Oh, does blondie want a cookie for her accomplishments?" He was currently smirking, almost like he was teasing her. Of course he was. He was not the type to be a gentleman at all. Those types of men disgusted him. She was holding her own, so that had to be worth something. Perhaps not to him, but to her. Let her do what she wanted, it never bothered him.

The blonde Prefect smirked as the boy said he would no longer take it out on her. That was more like it! Isabella did notice, however, that he hadn't yet relaxed his posture. She wished he would calm down and stop acting as if all girls were dogs; then they could possibly have a pleasant conversation. The perfect smirk on her lips turned to a frown as she heard that the ex had cheated on him for a number of years. That was harsh. Isabella wondered if the boy was ever going to be able to trust someone again. The blonde shook her head and laughed quietly when the boy asked if she had been cheated on. Xavier had never cheated on her, unless she counted leaving her for his family was cheating. Xavier had been her only boyfriend, and from the way he acted the last time they were reunited after he left, he seemed as if he would be way to scared to cheat on her. Though, Bella assumed most people would be scared of having her angry at them.
The Slytherin took a sip of her water before responding. "More like abandonment. Not sure which one is worse, but at least this way, the moron didn't have to face my anger. Lucky for him." Bella hissed angrily. The blonde really resented Xavier, and wished deeply to hurt him back; but she wasn't sure how. Jinxing him, or spewing hurtful words just didn't seem to be enough.
Isabella turned and faced the boy, shocked at what had come out of his mouth. She laughed a little at the nerve, loving that she had met someone today that actually challenged her. Bella mimicked his smirk, realizing that he was teasing. "I thought you weren't going to take your anger out on me, Jackass!" Bella laughed, playfully hitting him in the arm. "I won't have a cookie, but you are welcome to go and get me a drink so we can discuss how we're going to get back at the terrible twosome?" Bella suggested confidently.

It was simply difficult for Rephael to be here, let alone be here with a girl. Since he was screwed over by that one, he just didn't want to deal with it for very long. He hated it. He did not even know the girl next to him, and with the way the meeting was turning out, he thought that she could be a friend or something. It was nice to think of anyway. Someone to actually talk to that was not cheating on him with several other people. Friends can't cheat anyways, but they can back stab one and another. However what were the odds of that happening? Rephael was just tired of being screwed over, and he did not want to deal with it anymore. However the girl next to him was in a similar boat or something. Perhaps she had been burned too. Rephael thought that he loved his ex, but he knew that it was all just a huge lie. He was left alone, and that was probably better for him anyway. It was not like he was going to propose while he was in school. He was not stupid. His amber eyes stared at the blonde as she said that it was more like abandonment. He just left? The boy in her life just left her, and that was kind of harsh too. If only there was a way to get them back. "Tough... Yet you don't have anyone to take things out on either." He shrugged lazily, but his expression, it was hardened. He felt bad for her, but she might not even want sympathy at all.

The blonde was angry, and he knew it. He could tell by the sound of her voice, and he didn't very much appreciate people now. It was just, people were all around to screw one and another. Was this the fate of the world or something? He laughed softly when she had mimicked his smirk, and realized that he was teasing her. She also punched him in the arm, where he faked a grimace and rubbed his arm. "Wow, blondes can punch hard, I think hell just froze over." However she had suggested something, which he shrugged to. He could get her a drink, he didn't mind in the least bit. He got up from the couch, before heading over to the counter, getting a hot chocolate for the girl (girls liked that, didn't they?). He walked back over and he held it out to her once he had taken his seat once more. "I suppose I can keep calling you blondie, or do you have an actual name?" He smirked somewhat, before he took his own drink and took a lingering sip from it.

The hazel eyed girl rolled her eyes at the comment that the boy next to her made. Sure, she had just made a similar comment to him, but it didn't mean he had to say it back. Was chivalry dead? It sure seemed like it. Isabella hated the fact that she couldn't find a decent guy. She thought Xavier was the one for her, but he made it pretty obvious he wasn't interested. And did it in a terrible way too. Bella was sure the boy next to her felt just as angry towards girls as she did towards guys, but Bella thought that she should still be nice to her. Bella was all for how it was in the olden days; men being the gentleman, and ladies being, well, ladies. She hated the 'tomboy' look, and found anything not proper disgusting. Ladies should be the ones at home, in the dresses and looking after the house and their men. The men should be making the money and treating their ladies with respect. The world was so wrong these days.
Deciding against replying to the comment, Bella just shrugged and dropped it. The blonde didn't really feel like having a deep and meaningful with a stranger she barely knew. Sure, she had just offered to lend a listening ear, but that was for his problems, not her own. The Slytherin moved her hair with her hand to one side, moving her body posture so that she actually looked like she was having a conversation with the boy; rather than sitting straight and forward. She was pleased to have company, and the boy seemed to have turned out to be quite a laugh, rather than the sour-puss he was not so long ago.
Bella laughed softly when the boy made a comment about blondes punching hard. It wasn't like she worked out or anything, but she knew that if she had to, she could slap someone quite painfully. Punches weren't her strong suit though, but neither was most things to do with fighting. Fighting was messy, something Bella hated. "That's right, you better watch out, we're taking over." Bella teased with a smirk on her face. The blonde's eyes widened and followed the boy as he made his way to the counter after she told him to get her a drink. She didn't think he would actually do it. Bella quickly snapped her head back to the front before he came back, not wanting to look like a loony for starting at him. It didn't mean that she thought chivalry came magically back to life, but it definitely was a sweet motion. Bella smiled and softly muttered a thanks before taking a sip. "Mmmm, hot chocolate, just what I was feeling like." Bella commented happily. Her mood had changed dramatically. She felt a lot better and a lot happier than what she did when she entered the cafe'. She laughed again softly, the boy had quite a cheek to him! "If you get to call me blondie, then I can call you...erm...jackass?" Bella said, kicking herself for the lame reply. "Fine, my name is Isabella, but most people just call me Bella. Yours?" Bella smirked, matching the boy's in front of her, yet again.

Rephael shrugged his somewhat skinny shoulders, even him wishing that he was somewhat more built would have been better. So, he was rude, he knew it. He was angry, and he was not going to stop being angry either. It was just the way things were. Rephael doubted that he would be changing for anyone, any day soon. He didn't want to. He liked being angry, but he knew that if he let too much anger into his life, he would end up like Sethos. No one wanted that. Sethos was the controlling man of the entire family. He even had his father by the family jewels. He pushed his brunette locks from his amber eyes and he looked at the girl with hazel orbs. He wondered what she was thinking, not that he cared that much right now. She was just some girl in a cafe. That was it. She would not mean anything to him. They might not even talk after this anyway. Even if he did buy her a drink, he would not bother trying to make friends with a woman. They knew their place. Rephael was old-fashioned, but he was raised in a household where males had the power. He didn't really remember much of his mom. Perhaps the girl would not understand, and he would not understand her issues. He had troubles enough with dating. He thought that he loved the girl he was with until she cheated. But now he was not so sure. He just thought that he was being stupid during all of that. There were signs. He smirked somewhat when she said that they were taking over before he pointed out, "Perhaps in New Zealand, but not where I'm from."

At least when he brought her the beverage, she thanked him for it. Some girls were not like that. They expected things like that to be done for them. Not Rephael. He would not soothe their egos. If they wanted something, they can take care of it themselves. He snorted when she commented about the chocolate. Her mood changed, but maybe it was the chocolate. Women loved chocolate for some freaking reason that he did not know. He shrugged when she said that she can call him jackass. He heard worse. From many of his family members. He was even thought to be gay once because of the way he acted, how careless he seemed. But that was not him. He was as straight as a needle. Never thought about being with guys. Not that he would ever tell anyone that though, that his family thought that way about him sometimes. Hell he was not even a virgin. He simply smirked at the thought of being called something like that. Then she told him her actual name. Isabella, but Bella for short. He nodded, having heard that name tossed around quite a bit. "I'll call you Isabella. Not very fond of nicknames. I'm Rephael." The name he had sounded somewhat of a gentleman's name but he was anything but that. Rephael looked up and he could see some of his brothers wondering around, probably wondering where he was. He looked back at Isabella before he shrugged, "I think I might have to wrap this up. But I can think about writing to you. I assume you go to school here."
