Trying to save Willow from drowning. He ended up drowning too because he wouldn't give up looking for her.
2. How did her twin sister (Willow) die?
She fell in a lake and drowned.

She copes pretty well now because it happened when she was about three

In a place called Kaikoura

Not really.

About three.

It was her dad's animagus and her favourite animal.
