Red rose for @Cullen Yeong

The last time Maddy had delivered a red rose to a Ravenclaw, it hadn’t exactly gone well. Coupled with her general awkwardness about red roses and romance as a concept, she was more than usually nervous about this one. Climbing all the stairs up to Ravenclaw Tower, however, took her mind off it admirably. Maddy loved being up high, whether it be on a broom, or her dreams of flying on dragonback, or merely one of the castle’s towers. Besides, going places she didn’t usually go made the whole experience so much more of an adventure. As she ascended, glancing out the windows as often as possible, Maddy called out for her target. “Cullen! Cullen Yeong! Has anybody seen Cullen?”

Cullen was minding his own business doing some light studying and also making a crown of roses for Corrine. He had missed the sign ups again this year and he knew things were going well between them. He'd rather give her the rose himself then have someone else send them for him anyways. His mind was elsewhere and barely registered someone shouting his name until the last second possible. "Yes that's me," he said looking over the small child. He wondered if this girl was in Bada's year and if they were friends. Although she might look more excited if that was the case. He set his rose creation down his thoughts focused on the young girl now. It was probably his rose from Corrine, she was the only person who'd send him a rose other than Bada. Thinking of his sister he needed to talk to her soon about being nicer to Corrine.

Maddy grinned when she saw an older boy with a crown of roses in front of him, and her grin widened when it turned out that this was the person she was looking for. It looked like this would be a good delivery, after all. "Oh my gosh, is that a flower crown? That's awesome! Well, I have another flower for you!" Maddy pulled the red rose out with a flourish, and laid it on top of Cullen's flower crown. "Here you go! And the note's . . . uh, here!" It took her a moment to find it, but soon the note joined the rose.

Cullen waited as the girl look over the crown he was making @Corrine Lagos patiently. He smiled at the compliment but didn't say anything more until after she pulled out the rose for him that she had. "Thank you...uh?" Cullen said wanting to address her by name but he didn't know her name. He felt a little awkward in the moment but then added a smile.
