Yawning softly, Alyssa reached her hand down and flattened out her dress before looking back to the Lake. Alyssa's Outfits was fairly different from what she usually wore, but it was given to her at one of her latest photoshoots so Alyssa decided it must've been wearable enough. The lake was surprisingly peaceful for a nice day, and since everyone had just returned to Hogwarts Alyssa figured it would be booming with Students.

Alyssa tucked a strand of her straight blonde hair behind her ear as she cotinued to stare at the peaceful lake. To be honest, she had been avoiding her friends a bit. Ever since the whole Gossip giel epidemic Alyssa wasn't sure what she could really do around them without someone yelling at someone. Dispite her usual snobby attitude, she didn't really like to fight with her friends. Bit hopefully now that the second term as started things will start settle down.

"I wonder if Nia, Bella, or Abbey have even finished unpacking yet?" Alyssa asked herself curiously.

"I wonder if Nia, Bella, or Abbey have finished unpacking yet?" Abbey rolled her violet eyes at her best friend. It was humorous to her exactly how much she spoke to herself. She wrapped her arms around the girl sneakily and laughed, "You bet your arse I have!" She grinned and pulled away from her friend as she flattened her new jumperdown. "Sweetie, you need more friends," she teased Alyssa, refering to her friend talking to herself.

"How was break Aly? I've missed you girlies," Abigail smiled, her cheeks burning as she thought back to her own summer break. It had been the most amazing one she could ever have and knew that she would always remember it. She had even been able to sleep because of Theodore, of course she had fallen asleep while he had been speaking and felt awful about it, but had apologized to him, and he had understood.

Alyssa gasped in shock when she felt someone wrap their arms around her and say something to her. It didn't take long for Alyssa to realize it was Abbey's voice. Immediantly she relaxed and smiled. She roughly turned head to look at Abbey with a look of surprise and happiness. She was so happy that Abbey and her will still on talking terms. Abbey was probably one of the easiet people in the world to talk to, besides her brother of course.

"Heeey, I've missed you too!" Alyssa giggled and brought a hand up to scratch her head softly. Abbey seemed awful happy, so her summer break must've been good. Alyssa decided that it was worth questioning her. Standing up Alyssa decided to tell Abbey about her short but sweet summer break. Alyssa almost wished she could live in Switzerland, except the fact that county was a good place to gain a lot of weight at.

Alyssa brushed some grass off of her dress before smiling and opening her mouth lightly. "My break was good. I spent most of it in Switzerland though. Oh and I got my belly button pierced!" Thankful for wearing leggings, Alyssa lifted her dress to show Abbey her Belly Button ring quickly before letting the dress drop back down and sitting back onto the grass softly. "How has your break been?"

Abbey looked down at Alyssa's belly button ring as she showed it to her and said, "Cute." Once she settled herself down, the Slytherin joined her friend and sat down beside her. "My break was perfect," she answered sweetly.

"As you know, Theodore came over to my house. He met my little brother, Peter and Tante Noelle. Peter, although terribly shy warmed up to him almost immediately and of course Noelle recognized the Snow name, and gave me a warning about it, but I could care less. I mean you know my family," she said, rolling her eyes at the thought of the talk she and Noelle had.

Abigail grinned brightly and said in one breath, "Theodore asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes!" She smiled wider then anyone had ever really seen her smile, well aside from Theodore. She laughed happily into her hand, as her violet eyes twinkled sweetly.

Alyssa blinked for a moment as she registered what Abbey had said to her. Alyssa barely remembered that Theodore had left, when he came home he seemed awful happy but Alyssa didn't bother to question why. After a moment all the light bulbs in Alyssa's mind clicked and she suddenly realized what Abbey had said. Scrunching her nose and shuddering quickly she looked at Abbey with a look of surprise, shock, and confusion. Alyssa had no problem with Abbey, but the thought of one of her best friends being all over her brother gave her the chills.

"Abbey...I have no clue what you see in my brother at all..." Alyssa admitted honestly as she layed back onto the grass and looked at her friend.

"Abbey...I have no clue what you see in my brother at all..." Like Alyssa, Abbey laid onto the grass. She linked her fingers together and rested them on top of her stomach softly. A loving sigh escaped the girl before attempting to explain to Alyssa what she saw in Theodore, but really there was so much that she wasn't sure she thought Alyssa would want to know at all. "Theodore and I understand each other, which often calms me down. Although he gets angry often, he explains why he is, but really doesn't get mad at me and it's comforting. Even his scent is comforting," she gushed, her cheeks burning like wild fire now, but she continued none the less. "Theodore is just about the biggest sweet heart I've ever met. He's funny.. sometimes. He's honest with me, and I know I can trust him with everything, actually I do trust him with everything," she said happily.

"I don't know, there is so much that I love about him," Abbey said, with a small smile. "It's sort of what you feel for Vincent except so much more," she breathed, rolling onto her stomach and resting her head in her hands with a silly, lovestruck, grin.

This smile only widened as she thought of the kisses they shared in the Forbidden Forest. Of course it had been a rather bittersweet moment, but it had been much better then the kiss she gave him in the Tower.

Although Alyssa's first instinct was to laugh until her sides hurt, she stayed quiet. She had never heard anyone talk so fondly about her brother, not even her own mother. Abbey's words made Theodore seem more complex then Alyssa knew him to be, and she had seen many sides of him. The words she spoke made Alyssa yearn to find love for herself, she had gone through crushes and attraction, but she never dared to claim she had ever been in love. With a soft sigh Alyssa looked up at the clouds as she allowed her minds to be filled with thoughts of what Abbey had spoken. Maybe Alyssa should start keeping her mind more open to more then jus ther feelings, especially since it seemed like all her friends were movin gon while she was standing still as a rock.

"Your words are inspiring......maybe they'd mean more if I hadn't known Theodore since he was in diapers." Alyssa laughed as images of a younger Theodore ran through her mind. He had been a shy yet rowdy boy, he was far from being as lazy as he was now. "Everyone just seems to be finding someone for them lately, I kind of feel like I'm still standing still....." Alyssa admitted softly as she thought about how special Theo sounded to Abbey.

"Everyone just seems to be finding someone for them lately, I kind of feel like I'm still standing still..." Abbey looked at Alyssa from the corner of her eyes, and offered her a small smile. "You're only fourteen. Don't beat yourself up Aly," she said happily. She fiddled with her black curl softly, before placing it between her lips, trying her hardest to hide her loving smile at her own thoughts, but unable to keep it out of her violet eyes at all.

Like most in her family, Abbey's eyes really were the window to her soul. They showed each thought, feeling and even what she had gone through, and although it irritated her some times she liked her big violet orbs. "Boys are just intimidated by you. You are a Veela after all," she added absently.

Abigail out stretched her left hand, the bright green grass tickling her dark skin. "Do you think there is a potion to get rid of scars?" she asked curiously, looking down at her red scars that portruded her skins like deformed viens.

"Sometimes I think life would be so much easier without being a Veela." Alyssa said with a small sigh. Not only did it ruin her family's blood purity, but it made everyone feel awkward around her. And if they didn't avoid her they didn't leave her alone, it was never the way she wanted it. The only boy that even perfectly fits her idea of a perfect guy has a family full of Aurors. shaking her head to rid herself of depressing thoughts Alyssa smiled to herself. Abbey was right, she was only fourteen, she would get her big break someday. Her life was just beginning.

Turning her head to look at Abbey once more she sighed. "I suppose there should be, not that I've heard of one yet, why do you want to get rid of your scars?" Alyssa asked softly.

"Why do you want to get rid of your scars?" Abbey shrugged her shoulders lightly and sighed to herself. "Their hideous. And only remind me of that man that abused me and the other girls. I don't want to think of them all the time," she listed, but there was more, more that she thought Alyssa shouldn't hear because of how protected she was.

"Is it my fault that Bella's Mom died?" Abbey asked guilitly, remembering Bella's words from the Yule Ball. Her guilt was coming out in full fledge and there was nothing that she could really do about it. There was so much for her to feel guilty for, and now it was all coming out. "I'm really sorry about saying those things about you, and worse what I thought about you," she added softly.

"Of course it's not your fault that her mother died! Sometimes things like this just happen!" Alyssa 's eyebrows furrowed as she tried her hardest to convince Abbey that it wasn't her fault. Just the fact that Abbey wished baf things upon her family was a mere coincedence. Besides, Abbey probably hadn't meant it really. She was just upset and hurt at Bella for writing the magazine.

With a small smile Alyssa shrugged her shoulders. "It's okay! Don't worry about me, I was only upset for a few minute's anways!" Alyssa muttered in a bubbly tone, her smile never leaving her face.
