David had been so happy that he had made it on to the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team. Sure he was only an alternate but it was better than nothing and he was on the team, he didn’t really care what position he got, he was just happy to be part of something that he could of gotten rejected for and didn’t. Being in such a good mood David decided to go outside for a walk, grabbing the book he had been reading on dragons and their captivity throughout history he made his way outside and let his feet carry him wherever they wanted. The young Hufflepuff felt like he was walking on air, he was just in such in a good mood and he hadn’t felt this good in, well, he couldn’t remember how long it had been since he had felt this good. He also felt really happy when he was out with his father, working in the dragon captivity near their home in Greece but that was such a familiar happy feeling for him because in some way or another he had been out their with his father as long as he could remember. Due to his name sake it was one of those jobs that started off with his great great great ancestors that just carried on throughout the generations and while he didn’t have to carry on the name of Thrakos, basically meaning Dragon, he really wanted too because he was just so used to it now that he wanted to go the whole way to be a dragon keeper, unlike his older siblings who all left the family trade and get jobs in the Ministry and St. Mungo’s and what not. David held nothing against them but his dad was getting old and wasn’t able to get up with the Dragons as much as he used too in the good old days and he just wasn’t as strong anymore either so he needed a lot more help and until he graduated, David could only help his father out during the holidays and sometimes that just wasn’t enough for the old man. David just figured that his older siblings could take a small amount of time out of their busy schedule to make sure that their father was alright. Sure there was plenty of other staff there but his father had been working there for so many years that he knew the ins and outs of it better than the people that built the captivity.

Finally coming out of his train of thought David found himself out near the lake, turning off slightly to the left just so that he didn’t walk into the lake, David found himself walking up a sight hill towards the famous rosebush on the grounds. It was such a beautiful rosebush it was a shame that the reason it was there was to commemorate the death of a student on the grounds. It was horrible to think something like that could happen but obviously magic couldn’t fix everything. Taking a seat beside the rosebush he read the small plaque beside it, it was so nice that students took the initiative to plant this rosebush in memory of their friend and classmate and as he felt to warn new students that came through the doors that they had to be careful and whatnot, as magic could turn bad as quickly as it could be used for good. Lying back down on the grass David opened the book at the page he was on. He had made it to the start of the 17th Centaury. Of course the book didn’t go right back to the very start of dragon captivity but more so gave the reader a general over view to what it was like at the start and then started to go into more detail as there was more details documented about it.

Star was back at Hogwarts. Her fifth year in school. This was there OWL year and Star was going to try and do her best.Sara and Kate were both happy with their results and Star wanted to be too.She wanted to know she had tried her best and got what she deserved .She wasn’t too worried about them yet.She was doing a small amount of studying. She was just going over what they learned each day.She quite enjoyed studying, she never found herself zoning out or coming up with excuses not to do it.But unlike other years she was putting as much effort in.She wasn’t focusing her whole year on studying. She wanted to ome out of her shell. For the past year she had been doing i slowly.Becoming more confident in herself especially when around other people. She didn’t think so much about what they thought about her.She was becoming more carefree which was a ig step for Star who had always stayed in the shadows. She would always follow Ryan, she had been like his shadow. She had barely spoken to anyone in primary school and for the first three years of school she doubted half her year knew she was even there. She was pretty good at hiding herself and just observing everyone else. But it was something she hadn’t been doing as much of lately. She had actually talked to people in her year, she had even made a really good friend. He was one of her only friends and it was partly due to him that she had the confidence to be more herself. That day she had spent with Sammy had been probably the best in her whole time in Hogwarts. For once she wasn’t worrying about what he thought about her.He seemed to like her for who she was even though she had been a babbling, blushing fool at the beginning.Star wasn’t starting off the year very happy though. She was still angry and hurt at Ryan.No matter how many times he said sorry she was going to find it hard to forgive. She never forgot the look in his eyes when he told her she was a waste of space and he hated her.She had flinched at his words and cried the rest of the evening. Her own twin saying he hated her. They had always been so close, practically inseparable since birth but all that had changed.Star wanted to forgive him and she was sure in time she would but Star was fragile when it came to feelings. She didn’t have any back bone at all.Any sort of criticism sent her crawling back into the whole she had just come out of.
Star had her camera in hand. She was going to take some pictures round the Rosebush today. She hadn’t used her camera in a while which was a shame because she really like using it and she had a whole tonne of pictures that she had developed from last year, all over her wall..Star was a sentimental type of person and she loved taking pictures of various moments in her life so she could remember them fondly.Star walked out of the Ravenclaw common room and made her way down the many flights of stairs to the Entrance Hall. She then walked outside. It was a nice day,it definitely felt like Spring. There were quite a few people milling around the grounds, taking advantage of the nice weather.Soon she was at the outskirts of the rosebush and she walked quietly in.She found that the Rosebush was one of the most magical places in Hogwarts. It was so quiet and serene.Star loved relaxing here and listening.Star was only slightly put off by the other person in the roebush. He looked vaguely familiar,he was probably in her year or something.Star didn’t know his name though and she doubted he even recognized her.She didn’t want to start taking pictures, maybe it would make him feel uncomfortable or something. “Hey”She said calling out to him,a small smile on her face “Would you mind if I took some photos?”She asked her smile a tiny bit bigger. She wouldn’t take any if he said no,she wasn’t rude and it would be kind of stupid to ask for permission and then still take the pictures. So Star waited patiently but nervously for his answer.

David, as ever, was held captive by his book. It was the same with every book her read, he just got so into them that he felt like he was in there with the writer, looking at what he was looking at. Although this was only with a really good book, where the author went into great detail or every miniscule object that was in the scene, so it made it easy for David to think he was in the book because he could invision everything as if it were right in front of him. David had been a bit of strange kid as he was never really interested in books with pictures, or fictional books like Tales of Beetle The Bard, because he must preferred real stories and of course anything that was to do with Dragons. Must to his fathers delight because David's older siblings had gone away from the family trade of Dragon Keepers and David was his fathers last hope to keep the tradion alive within the family. As David turned another page in his book a familiar thought crossed his mind, I should of been a Ravenclaw. Granted he wasn't very smart but he was such a nerd. Sure not all Ravenclaws were nerds and just smart, but David loved books and random things that not many people found interest in, or not as much interest as David had. Although he didn't mind, it was what made him who he was and if that meant that he had to be a little weird then so be it. He was pretty much alone in the school, with no friends to speak of really but he was used to it by now and he would much rather be alone instead of changing who he was just to have friends. He often wondered that maybe if he was put into Ravenclaw if he would of made more friends than he already has. There was nothing wrong with Hufflepuff, but he didn't know anyone. Sure there was the people in his dorm and the ones on the Quidditch team but he only knew them a formality, he never really talked to them on a personal basis, it was either about Quidditch, stratgies and plays and so on with his team mates and then there was the guys in his dorm that he rarely spoke too, unless there was the odd occassion one of the boys asked about a bit of homework and David would respond but that was about it. Oh well, he had two more years left so he wasn't going to pine about it now, not that it would do much good, the Sorting Hat put him where he belonged and while he didn't feel like he belonged he figured the Sorting Hat must of known what it was talking about, he had never really been wrong before as far as David could tell.

Feeling a warm breeze come over him he smiled softly and put his book on his lap for a moment, just in time to see a blonde haired girl approaach him. He looked at her for a moment but didn't really think anything off it, because there was really no way that she was coming to talk to him. She did look familiar, in fact he was almost sure that she sat in front of him in a few of his classes, but still they never talked and he wasn't even completely sure of what her name was so he still didn't think that she was going to come to talk to him. The rosebush was such a nice place to relax that he figured she was just coming to relax as well, or take pictures by the looked of what she was holding in her hand. He was caught off guard when she started to talk, to him? He then became confused, very confused. Does she want to take a picture of me?! No that was stupid. Realising he had gone an awkward amount of time without talking he sprung back to life. "Umm...yeah...sure. I'll just move somewhere else and let you take your pictures." he said as he got up to move away for her to let her be about her picture taking.
