Rapunzel had just laid the last daycare child down for his afternoon nap. She dearly hoped for long, peaceful sleep so she would have longer to linger in the magical world. Rocking Kay gently to the Mozart music playing softly at the other end of the nursery, Rapunzel planned her afternoon. A nice, breezy day in Brightstone village, hopefully meeting a few new people. Kay fell asleep and Rapunzel laid her in her crib to rest. As soon as she grabbed her coat, she was out the door. Rumaging through her pocket, she came upon an old picture of her biological father. He really seems to be popping up more lately! Whether this was a good or bad thing could not be determined but that was no matter at this point of time.
Upon her arrival in Brightstone Village, several adult wizards bid her good day. Rapunzel felt a pleasing sensibility with so many unfamiliar yet welcoming faces. She practically skipped down the streets looking for a kid her age to hang out with. She observed the faces hurriedly, for time was short. Time seemed to slow as her eyes fixed on a stranger. His eyes sparkled deep brown but he appeared nefarious. It was just him and her and she couldn't pinpoint who he was. His eyes fell from hers and he was lost in the crowd. Rapunzel stood motionless with a frightened expression cemented to her face.
After her scary experience, Rapunzel settled on a rusty bench. Exhausted from almost nothing, she found a boy roughly her age and advanced then tapped him on his shoulder.

Ryuuji had just finished up his homework from the muggle school that he was currently attending. A few months ago, he had discovered that he was not just a normal kid, that he was actually bestowed with the ability to do magic. Something that had freaked him out at first but had eventually been considered as a gift by him.

Bidding his mother goodbye as he grabbed his soccer ball from his closet, Ryuuji quickly found his way to the one place where he had considered himself to belong, a place which is pretty much full of wizards and witches a like. Ryuuji, being a muggle born, was not entirely familiar with the place, but the said place and the shops that could be found there had enchanted him so much that whenever he has time, he'll eventually trace his steps to the Brightstone Village.

Looking around the said Village, Ryuuji nodded his head at several wizards who had smiled at him, they were just strangers yet there was this feeling of being welcomed by them. Being surprisingly out of luck, Ryuuji discovered that he was actually lost, lost in a place that he is not very much familiar with. Scanning the place for any familiar landmark or shop that he can see, Ryuuji was almost startled when he felt a tap on his shoulder. Turning around to see the stranger who had done that, Ryuuji was relieved that it was actually a girl which is probably his age. "Do you need anything?" He said, a smile plastered in his face as he calmed himself down from the previous shock.

Rapunzel was shocked at the boy's reply. People usually simply glared then gave her the cold shoulder and sometimes, if she was lucky enough, they would say "hi" and Rapunzel and the other kid would be hanging out and eventually would end up being friends. Her mouth hung open just barely enough to see her pearly whites. She looked to the side uncomfortably, unsure of what to say next. She had never been so tongue-tied! "Um... Well uh... I'm um... Rapunzel. Rapunzel Frost..." She stuttered stupidly, "I was just uh looking for.... someone to hang out with and um you just happened to be the first person I um... well... saw that looked my age..." What a fool! You sound like such an idiot! This is just NOT your day!!! Rapunzel yelled at herself. First that guy then her moronic words. Rapunzel thought about turning around and going back to those dumb daycare tots, but instead held her breath, hoping for a positive reply.

Ryuuji raised an eyebrow at the girl in front of him. He can see the awkwardness that the girl was feeling. He actually find it quite funny, it's not everyday that someone would approach him and stutter when talking to him. Suppressing a laugh, Ryuuji tried to remove the awkwardness by flicking the girl in the forehead. Something that might have surprised the said girl. It's just a friendly act though he was unsure if the girl would take it offensively. "My name's Ryuuji... nice meeting you Rapunzel.." He said with a playful grin as he withdrew his hand from the girl's forehead. "Actually, I'm lost, but since you've invited me, I think it wouldn't hurt if I go and hang out with you..." He added as he put his hands on his pockets.

Rapunzel's eyes widened to it's max as the boy flicked her on the forehead. This day just gets weirder and weirder... Rapunzel was still dumbfounded when he introduced himself as Ryuuji. She blinked several times and figured he had meant it in a different way than she had thought. He notified her that he was lost and she grinned because in all honesty, she had no idea where she was either, besides the name of the general area, Brightstone Village. He stuck his hands in his pockets and Rapunzel felt a comfort of knowing he most likely wouldn't flick her head again.
"Ok... Well where would ya like to go?"

Ryuuji chuckled at the girl's expression when he had flicked her forehead, he had half-expected her to shout some rude and annoying words to him but rather, the girl just seemed to dismissed what he had done. It was quite amusing if he may say so. "Jeez... sorry for doing that.. you're not going to get mad or anything?" He asked incredulously as he let out another chuckle. He then tilted his head a little in deep thought when the girl had asked him where he would like to go, to be frank, he doesn't have any place in his mind at all. "Don't know.. where would you like to go?" He then said as he returned the question to Rapunzel.

Rapunzel laughed nervously, "No, it was just.... a little surprising! I don't really get mad easily." The "what to do" and "where to go" were still unknown. Rapunzel scrolled through a lit of places she knew in Brightstone Village. "Well there's... no... but... nope... well......." Rapunzel stood looking at her shoes, puzzled. "Perhaps just a walk would do?" Rapunzel suggested.

Ryuuji laughed along with Rapunzel, though his laugh was more of a amused one rather than a nervous one. "Great.. I really thought that you'll blow up... cause you know.. I do get that a lot.." He said, he was quite weird if he may say so, but he cannot help it really. He was just like that.

Ryuuji nodded in agreement when Rapunzel had offered for them to just take a walk and just stroll down along the village. It seems like she herself had no idea what they were going to do. "Rapunzel.. do you like sports?" Ryuuji asked randomly as he tried to start up a conversation between the two of them

Rapunzel shoved her dry hands into her coat pockets and fumbled with the picture of her jerk-father. She giggled when he said people usually became angry with the strange gesture. She could see why though. It's not something people normally do and if you don't know what it suggests you might think it's rude!
They started down the long street and Rapunzel watched her shoes and his as they walked simultaneously. "I like a few. Soccer, tennis, basketball... I don't play much though since I only have about an hour of the day to myself," Rapunzel laughed then added, "What about you?"

Ryuuji just continued to walked along side Rapunzel as he listened to her talk. A smile appeared on his face when the girl said that she indeed likes some sports. At least they have something in common. "I play soccer, tennis, baseball, judo... kendo.. I'm pretty much athletic.." He replied with a laugh. His days would alway be spent with him either in the field or in his home doing so warm ups and stuffs though he had never really joined any sports club at his previous school as he deemed it unnecessary. That is then that he realized the statement that the girl had just uttered. He was pretty confused by it. "What do you mean that you only have about an hour for yourself?"

Rapunzel was interested in the amount of sports he played. Being athletic was wonderful. However, Rapunzel had never been titillated enough to join teams. "Oh, I care for my mother's daycare children most of the time... And they're quite a hassle. Plus there's all my siblings that I must put up with... So I enjoy the little amounts of time that I get breaks in." Rapunzel checked her watch to find she only had another thirty minutes before the kids would begin to wake up, but to be with a new friend felt wonderful and she never wanted to stop wandering the streets and getting to know another wizard.

Ryuuji nodded in understanding as Rapunzel told him how she would spend her days, it was a pretty hectic and busy schedule if he may say. "That's pretty hard eh? I only have an older sister that's why I don't have any younger sibling to take care of..." Ryuuji said casually, placing his hands at the back of his head as they continued walking. "But it can be fun ne? Taking care of little kids... where's the day care center? maybe I can walk you there once you need to return.." He then added with a cheerful smile, Ryuuji had never been to day care before and he wonders what's it like to take care of younger children despite of being a child too.
