Jordie had gotten away from the library, tired of the same scenes for studying- his dorm, the common room, the library. He figured it was time to settle in somewhere new and hope that it calmed his mind. He sat down sideways in a chair, a pillow stuck behind his back and his legs over the other arm. He was looking through his Runes textbook, taking down a few notes. Runes was definitely one of his favorite classes, and he couldn't help but hum lightly as he flipped through the pages.

Felix needed to do some homework but he was feeling far too restless to go to the library or sit in the common room. The student lounge was the next best place and he scanned the room trying to find an open seat. It still felt so weird to have his prefect badge and he kept looking for Sawyer in the great hall or in the corridor to laugh about it with until he remembered that his brother wasn't around anymore. But he did spot Jordie and he decided to join the older boy. "Hey, mind if I join you?" he asked gesturing to the couch next to him. "And congrats on the whole head boy thing." he added.

Jordie looked up when he head a voice, smiling as he saw Felix. "Hey, sure thing," He agreed, motioning for Felix to take a seat. "Thanks," He chuckled. "This is your first year as a prefect, isn't it?" He asked, closing his books and setting them aside, turning his attention to the younger boy.

Felix smiled and gave Jordie and appreciative nod as he sat heavily in one of the chairs across form him. He let out a big breath as he started to think of all the ways he could procrastinate. He nodded when he was asked about being new as a prefect. "Yup." he answered with a grin. "Why, do I seem too obvious?" he asked with a laugh and fought the urge to reach up and touch his badge. He had noticed he kept doing that but hadn't figured out how to stop.

Jordie laughed lightly. "Not at all, it's just become my job to know," He winked playfully. "How are you finding it?" He asked him, studying the boy. "Are you doing something different with your hair?" He asked Felix, sitting up a bit himself. "It looks great,"
