BASIC DESCRIPTION: Being really sickly since he was born, Raziel had always been small and skinny for his age. His skin is a ghostly shade of white that it seemed like he hadn't been exposed to the daylight in ages. His shoulder length hair, which is usually tied in a messy ponytail, is blonde in color as his sisters constantly dyed it as they thought the color suited his pale skin. Raziel's appearance is rather feminine that it would be easy to mistake him as a girl in first glance. He has deep brown eyes and he has a blank gaze. His lips were perfectly shaped like Cupid's bow.

POSTURE: Raziel slouches. He doesn't really pay attention to his posture. He sits awkwardly and walks awkwardly.

VOICE: Raziel doesn't talk at all , unless the situation really calls for it. However, when he does talk, his voice is soft and barely audible.

CLOTHING PREFERENCE: Raziel doesn't really have any clothing preference. He wears what is in his closet. However, as his oldest sister, Raina, was the one to buy his clothes, his clothes were mostly trendy ones. Majority of his closet, however, is made up of long sleeved shirts.

QUIRKS: Raziel has this weird habit of sitting with his knees close to his chest. He had never been comfortable sitting the same way the others do. The way that he holds things was pretty odd too. He prefers to pick things up using his index finger and thumb as opposed to how other people do it. When not doing anything he twirls his fringe on his index finger. He has the habit of staring at people, sometimes, even for long hours. He daydreams a lot too and he doesn't do things that do not interest him.

<SIZE size="50">GENERAL PERSONALITY: Most of the time, Raziel has his poker face on. It is really hard for him to express his emotions, and thus, though happy or angry, his facial expression remains the same. He had been really sickly since he was born thus he rarely leaves home. Being unable to do things that kids his age do, he had buried himself with his books. Through books, he was able to experience things that he knew he would probably never have the chance to experience. Not only that, through reading, he was able to meet people who had lived worst lives that he did, and such persons were able to surpass the challenges that they faced. Raziel's not one to believe in happy endings, but just knowing that people could still be happy despite the unfortunate things that had happened in their lives motivates him so.

Though an avid reader, there are still lots of things that young Raziel doesn't know, and most of these things had something to do with socializing. He's not one to start a conversation and he never really tries to keep a conversation going. He would easily lose interest on things, and as such, there would be times when he would just zone out when the topic that is being talked about doesn't interest him. He's also wary of being touched or hugged by people outside his family. He just find it awkward though he wouldn't really mind it if it was someone who he really knows. Raziel's presence is also quite low, he's not that talkative, thus, that coupled with his pale skin and hair; it would be really easy to not notice him. He didn't really mind though as he prefers to be an observer.

Raziel is a man of few words, if of any word at all. He is usually quiet and reserved and thus only a select few had actually heard the sound of his voice. If not necessary, he preferred to keep his thoughts to himself and most of the time, he could be found wandering in his own world. It is extremely rare to get him to talk, and when he does talk, it is usually in small and short sentences only. He wasn't incapable of talking nor was he shy, he just thought that such activity was too tiring and was a waste of his energy. He values silence and prefers not to be surrounded by noise. Not much could anger him as he maintains a level head most of the most, the easiest way to get in his bad side was to attack his family as he values them more than his own life. He lacks the sense of self preservation and self-awareness and thus can appear vulnerable.

BACKSTORY: Raziel came from a loving family. Born on the 21st of July, 2019, Raziel was the youngest of four kids. His father, Jong Hyun Kim, met his mother, Jessica Recipon Park while on one of his expeditions. He is an archeologist and thus, had set to travel the globe ever since he graduated from Hogwarts Scotland. He was a ravenclaw. He is a man of few words and can be constantly seen scribbling on his notebook or with his nose buried in a book. He is a man who has his goals and priorities clear and is constantly running after them. His mother, Jessica Recipon Park, is a budding journalist then, but because of her tendency to get her priorities mixed up, was not able to land a stable job. She met Raziel's father while she was after a lead that she got from one her close friends. he is a free spirit, constantly moving around from one place to another. That is, until she crossed paths with the then 20 year old Jong Hyun. She used to mock him for his too uptight attitude and his silence, but in him, she found something constant in her life. He never leaves even if she tells him to. He wouldn't lie to her and tell her how horrible her writings was if it was the truth. He doesn't sugar coat his words. He was everything she wasn't. He was everything she needed. However, with Jong Hyun's obliviousness and too serious attitude, it was Jessica who made the move to get him to ask her out. She was the one who courted him and after months of proving to him that he deserves her as he kept on belittling himself, they finally got together. Jong Hyun was 22, and Jessica was 21 when they tied their knots. They had four beautiful children by their marriage, three girls and one boy.

Twenty seven year old Yui Kim was the oldest of the children. She is a beautiful girl with long brown locks that reach her middle back. It was a year after the marriage that she was born. Born and raised in South Korea, she attended Hogwarts Scotland just like her father did. She was sorted into Gryffindor. Always enjoying the focus of spot light on her and always being the artsy one, she decided to become a model after graduating. Tired of being a model, she decided to be a fashion designer at the age of twenty two.

Raina and Nana were the next. They were identical twins and also attended Hogwarts Scotland just like their father and older sister. The Kims were living in England when the twins were born. There is a three year gap between the oldest and the twins. Raina was a Ravenclaw, while Nana is a Hufflepuff. Raina wanted to follow her mother's footsteps and wanted to become a journalist. After graduation, she decided to return to South Korea in order to pursue her dreams and get a college degree. Nana, on the other hand, wanted to be a healer and is training to be one.

Raziel is the youngest of the four kids. He was rather sickly when he was born. Being the only son, his mother was rather protective of him. He too was born in England,however, at age four, because of his parent's work, he had to live with his grandparents at Busan. He was seven when his parents took him again.


EARLY CHILDHOOD (4-7): Raziel was three when his parents decided to leave him in his grandparents' care. Both Jong Hyun and Jessica were at the peak of their careers and both their works demanded more time from them. Nana and Raina were eleven then, and Yui was fourteen, all three were attending Hogwarts. Thus, even with heavy hearts, the couple had to send young Raziel to his grandparents. Jong Hyun was the youngest child and all of his siblings had gone to far off places, and thus, both his parents were really happy when the couple first arrived on front of their doors with little Raziel clinging in their arms.

The new environment was good for Raziel's weak body, but even as a child, Raziel was extremely quiet. He wouldn't participate in any of the activities in the day care center where his grandparents placed him. When in the playground, he would usually sit by himself and watch the other kids play instead of joining. While the other kids had dolls and miniature cars as toys, he had puzzles and books as his company. He was a quick learner, but both his grandparents had quickly noticed that he was different from the other kids. He wouldn't talk even if he already wanted something. When hungry, he would usually find his own way to satisfy his hunger. He could also stay for hours doing nothing but just stare at someone or at something. He was either too active or too passive. Nothing could keep his attention for long except his picture books and his puzzles.


CHILDHOOD (7-10): Raziel was doodling on his book when he first saw his parents again. Both Jessica and Jong Hyun and his sisters do write him letters, but they never did get the chance to actually visit him. Raziel was rather unresponsive even when he was being enclosed in such a tight hug by his mother. He was actually quite scared though, he remembered his mother's face, but he remembered her as being young and being full of life. The woman before her was more worn out, her eyes were still twinkling with mirth, but it was hardened too. His father too had changed. He had more lines on his face, far more than what his seven year old mind could remember. His sister, Yui had gotten really tall and different too. She no longer had those twin tails that she usually sports nor did she wear those flashy necklaces. Nana and Raina, he could clearly remember. Raina never did fail to always send him photos and so did Nana. And thus, when they hugged him, he did return the hug, even though he wasn't used to such close human contact. Yui already graduated then and she could finally look after him. He stayed for another two months with his grandparents before his parents brought him back to England.

Yui was then an aspiring model. She usually plays with Raziel's rather soft features and dresses him up with the clothes she made. She was also the culprit to Raziel's long lock of blond hair. Raziel and she were pretty close as Yui usually brings him with her at her work. Once, while he was watching her sister in one of her photo shoots, he even got involved as the young girl she was supposed to model with wasn't able to arrive. It was the first and last time that Raziel agreed to be in the middle of attention. All for the sake of his older sister.

Even at this stage, Raziel was still the silent little kid he was back home. In fact, it had gotten worse. While before he would usually respond with a word or two, he preferred not to talk at all then. One day, his parents were called by his muggle school teacher. Apparently, the quiet and reserved kid got into a fight and had somehow managed to break the glass window by the back of the school. It was actually Raziel's first real show of his magical abilities. Unknown to all, Raziel keeps watch over a black kitten that he hid behind a bush in the back of his school. But that day, three of his classmates saw. Raziel, on his way to deliver some milk to the poor kitten, saw the three throwing stones at the small animal's way. It was also the first time that he showed that he was actually capable of being angry. The glasses shattered and the kids were injured, and so was he. But once in the discipline office, he didn't say anything. He didn't talk about it though no matter how much his parents pushed him to do so. They soon gave up but Jessica decided to have him home schooled instead of sending him to a muggle school then.

Raziel kept the kitten, but it one day, when his sister accidentally left the door to their house open; it ran away and never did return again. Raziel was saddened, but with his lack of expression, his parents thought that it was fine. It was Raina who noticed that he was more reserved than usual. She gave him a black kitten plushie on his ninth birthday and even until this day, he still had it kept in his room. Raziel was ten when his family decided to transfer to New Zealand because of his father's work.


THE LETTER FROM HOGWARTS: It was a sunny Sunday afternoon. Jong Hyun Kim was away for work, Jessica was scribbling on her notebook, trying to meet a deadline for one of the articles that she was writing. Yui, who had just returned from one of her shoots, was the one to notice a lonely letter sitting on front of their porch. The twenty year old girl picked it up, and her tired expression changed into a delighted one. She would recognize that letter anywhere. It was the same letter she received almost ten years ago, albeit the small differences. It was for him. No one in their house could be the recipient of it except his youngest brother. Overjoyed, she burst into the house, not noticing the 'do not disturb' sign in front of her mother's room, and showed it to her, ecstatic over the fact that her brother was accepted at Hogwarts too. As soon as she read the letters written on the envelop, Jessica dropped her pen and hurriedly went out of the room in search for her son, articles and deadlines already forgotten.

It was in the attic where they find him. His nose was buried in a book, his legs close to his chess, and bars of sweets surrounded him. It was a gift from his grandparents who had visited them weeks ago. It was Raina who suddenly enclosed him in a bearlike hug, saying things like how proud she was to have him as her brother or how she would cry should he leave because her brother is finally growing up. Young Raziel's face remained impassive as his sister cried on his shoulder, wetting his shirt. His mother was smiling at him, handing him the letter that was addressed to him. Slowly, he reached out for it, reading it quietly. He showed neither happiness nor sadness as he learned that he would be attending Hogwarts New Zealand too, which earned him a soft smack on the head from his sister before she hugged him again saying that he was silly and that it was alright to jump in joy and not bottle his emotions in. Raziel answered her with just a blink of his eyes and a slight push on her shoulders. She was too heavy for him. That night, after Jong Hyun returned from work, and Nana and Yui came back after spending some time with their friends, the whole family had a celebration. It was a small and humble one, but everyone had fun.
