James woke up early, the weather was still cold and despite his conjuring of blue flames he still felt the chill in the air. Pulling over a thin red sweater and a navy leather jacket, he looked around the small room he was staying in for a pair of gloves that would keep his hands warm. Grabbing a thin yet cozy pair of black leather gloves that matched his light black Jeans he quickly pulled on some light winter boots and began making his way outside into the winter's air. James only had another week before he had to be in Australia for another Quidditch match, unfortunately that meant that he needed to practice with the team and spend less time with Isabella. James didn't mind that much since this was part of the job and couldn't let his feelings for Isabella distract him from achieving his ultimate goal.

He'd been up late practicing a spell Aunt Hermione had given him via owl post. She had made it annoying clear that it would've been easier to learn the spell (nonverbal) had he been in school and that he would need to show discipline and actually study in order to master it. Annoyed but more than gratefull James thanked her for the instructions and wish her and Uncle Ron well. James wanted to stop by a Quidditch Shop and refresh his supplies since even though the team had their own bloom cleaning kits James didn't like to use them. The long street wasn't crowded as the students were all back at school leaving the parents at home or to do their shopping with less annoyance and more quickness.

James had also wanted to see if perhaps there was a book that would help him learn more advance Chaser Techniques. Working with the team was excellent however James needed to learn some individual moves as Grey and Robertson seemed to be in a league above him still and that needed to be fixed. The wind was slowing down thankfully as James rubbed his hands together, Being in a crowded area like this James could only have one blue orb floating around him in order to move about without hurting anyone else. James looked as a white spotted owl flew into a shop and delivered a the daily prophet and a few women gossiped over some book they picked up. Looking around more carefully James thought he spotted a shop that sold brooms but was wrong leaving him feeling a bit annoyed and wishing he was back in Diagon where they were much easier to find. That would risk running into his father however and James wasn't too comfortable doing that.
