Charlotte was in a very grateful mood today. She loved every bit of Hogwarts and hadn't found anything she really disliked about it in the year or so that she's been there. Exploring the castle had always been her favourite thing to do and everything she thought she discovered was amazing to her, even if it was simply just the abandoned classroom. With her now being apart of the adventure club, she was definitely going to try and be a good role model to the first years and was willing to do whatever it took to make sure they would all have the best adventure yet. She decided that today she was going to head out to the rosebush where she hadn't really ever been before. She had heard that there were quite pretty flowers around there and even a memorial for a past student. Charlotte wanted to go have a look and quickly dressed herself in some comfortable clothing to head outside of the castle.

As Charlotte skipped through the grounds and towards the rosebush, she let her long hair flow behind her in the wind and smiled brightly as she saw the rosebush in the distance. When she approached it she realised that it wasn't much but there sure were some pretty interesting flowers growing. She picked a bright pink one and put it up to her nose before walking over to the memorial and placing it next to it. Sitting down, she then began to pick more and situated them around the plague with the girl's name on it. It read her name, Rose Landers, and Charlotte frowned at it when she realised that the girl was only in her first year at Hogwarts. It made her want to know how she had died. How did she die in such a safe and magical place? Perhaps she was sick and had died from natural causes? Whatever it was, it made Charlotte feel sorry for the people who knew her. She continued to sit in front of it and stared down at the words engraved in the plague. There was no way someone could not have any empathy for such a small girl.
