Crispin held the door open for Andy and looked down into her golden eyes as she passed. He couldn't help but sneak a kiss in before stepping back to let her through. "Third time's a charm." He followed her to a table and held out her chair for her to sit down. He may not have apologized to snakewood for frenching his girl but he was sorry he'd upset Andy. She meant more to him than even his own life. Her happiness meant his happiness and he would do what he could to keep her happy. He sat across from her at the table and hoped he could make this night good for her.

Andy wasn't sure if she had dressed appropriately or not but she felt comfortable and relaxed and she was with Crispin. So nothing else really mattered, though at the rate they were going out on dates she seriously would have to rethink her wardrobe. She didn't have much with her and certainly not enough to have a different outfit on for every date.

She smiled as he held the door for her. He was laying it on, trying so hard to make the date go well. Holding out her chair as well she practically blushed as she sat down waiting then for him to do so, she reached a hand across the table to him.

"You know I don't need any of this" she wanted him to understand that much at least, "you don't have to make anything up to me. I have you, I don't need frills too".

Crispin flipped his hand over under hers and rubbed the pad of his thumb over the back of her hand. "You may not need it but I need to give it to you. Because you deserve it Andy. I'd give you the world if I could." His face split into a grin and he chuckled, sliding his hand from hers and picking up the menu. "And that's enough of me being corny for one night." Everything looked pretty tempting. His dark eyes slid to hers and the warm light in her golden eyes drew him in. He could have stared at her forever, so damned beautiful in her red dress.

Andy smiled at him, how could she possibly show any interest in food when Crispin was near her. Resting her elbow on the table she leaned her chin on it as she chuckled at his words.
"I happen to enjoy Crispin in corny mood, there isn't enough corny in the world you know. I say bring it on, flood the world with vat loads of corneyness ..." she paused giggling,"is that even a word?"
she pulled a menu in front of her trying really hard to look at it but her gaze kept drifting to him. She had the strangest desire to take off her shoe and slide it over to his lap but giggled to herself when she remembered the boots she was wearing. If she even attempted to remove those one of two things might happen, either the entire restaurant would keel over with the smell or she would make some good up trying to unlace them and bang would go the element of surprise for Crispin.

She seriously hoped now that he wouldn't ask her what she was giggling to herself about because it would be very difficult for her to try and blame it on the menu contents and not being able to lie didn't give her many options.
"So any ideas what you'd like?" she smiled at him across the table and found herself wishing that he was on the menu for starters, dinner and desert.

Crispin loved her laugh and found himself wishing he could hear the sound every single day for the rest of his life. This thought floored him. He wanted to spend his life with her, to have her beautiful face be the first thing he woke up to every morning. He coughed slightly into his fist nervously. "Um, the steak looks pretty good." Although it would probably taste like cardboard in his mouth. If he even hinted at what had passed through his mind, he was sure it would freak her out as much as it was him. What did he even have to offer her? He was soon to graduate, had no job lined up and could only hope that he was hired at the ministry. They were both so young, she would still be in school for two more years after he left. Who knew what would happen in that time, if spending so much time away from him would make her realize that one of the other guys was what she wanted.

He set his menu down, his elbow appearing on the table and the long fingers of one hand went to rub at his temple.
"Have you started reviewing for your OWLs?" He needed to change the subject in his head, to distract himself. Just the thought of her not in his life pained him. He was borrowing trouble, not keeping his word on taking things slow, even though she wouldn't know what he was thinking.

She glanced over the menu again and again hoping that at some point the words would become readable to her. Of course Crispin's mentioning steak had her looking directly at his chest over her menu, prime cut she sighed inwardly before yanking the menu back in front of her face. She seriously would have to get herself together here before she ended up making a complete spectacle of herself. She glanced up at him briefly once more and realized he was as distracted as she was and at first hoping it was herself that had him this way was seriously disappointed to find out it had been exams.

"Um yeah since we started back after Christmas. How about you?" her own voice didn't sound any way convincing to the inner tormoil because she seriously hated this subject, not the exams themselves but what they signified. His inevitable leaving of her. She had a mental image of the condition she had been in when Bruin had done the same thing last year though he had broken with her before then or as they told everyone by mutual consent. Would Crispin break up with her too just so she could be happy without him? Whatever kind of universe that happened in Andy knew it certainly wasn't this one.

"Same here," his mouth quirked. Crispin used the time it took for the waiter to get their orders and set their drinks down to calm his thoughts. It worked better than he thought. He enjoyed the tart bite of his drink even though he was used to alcholic beverages. His grandfather had often served wine at dinner and insisted it cleansed the palette, something important for potions. "I've been thinking," he rubbed his cheek with his thumb and let his eyes connect with hers. "You still have two years left of school Andy." He paused, unaware that how he was going about this might increase her anxiety or make her think he was wanting to call things off. Crispin was intelligent but when it came to women he was still a clueless creature. "And we won't be able to see each other except for vacations and Brightstone weekends. And even then I don't expect you to spend the time exclusively with me. You'll have your friends and your family."

He took another drink and cupped his hands around the crystal glass. "I'd like to share what I have with you Andy. I'd like you to share my room. Would you like to bring some of your things over, to keep at the house?" In his mind, he was thinking it would be nice to have her over, to share his bed although they wouldn't be doing anything past sleeping. Not until they were both ready. He simply wanted to hold her in his arms and wake to see her beautiful golden eyes. He wanted her to feel like she wasn't a guest at his home, to feel like she belonged there, for however long she'd have him.

Andy continued to sip her drink, that was not a good sign and she knew it. When a boy said that he had been thinking, it usually meant only one thing and that was breaking up. She held herself rigidly in the seat wanting to run but realizing her feet would not move. Every stupid magazine she had ever read had told her about these signs. He was making eye contact, beginning with the motives of why they should break up. Her time left in school had been the same reason that Bruin had used. Feeling as if her heart was constricting in her chest, Andromeda very carefully placed her glass down on the table averting her gaze from his now. She could not look at those beautiful eyes when he eventually said the words, it would be too much and always she would remember them that way. As being the harbingers of her sadness, of her broken heart. His motives were all centered around her and yet not once had he asked her for her opinion, he was just going to break with her for her own good it would seem.

"I'd like to share what I have with you Andy. I'd like you to share my room. Would you like to bring some of your things over, to keep at the house?"
his next words startled her completely. She had not been ready for them, had not expected them at all. Her heart felt painfully sore as if it had constricted itself against inevitable pain and now was filling up much too quickly with happiness. Gasping silently for ease of breath she looked at him, unable to speak at first. Her hands shaking so much on the table that she had to hide them in her lap. Andromeda could not stop the tears that had welled up in her eyes when she believed he was breaking with her and looked away now so that he would not see them.

"You're... you're not breaking up with me then?" she inhaled deeply as she finally turned to look at him, "Crispin Cold don't you ever start a sentence to me again with I've been thinking." A smile played across her mouth as she nodded her head still pushing back tears that wanted to fall now for other reasons.
"I'd like that .. to share with you. Everything with you".

"Break-up?" Crispin stared at her rather owlishly before his brows slanted into a frown. He leaned up and over the table as far as his long legs would allow and grasped her chin firmly yet gently. "You are you my heart, Andromeda." His eyes locked with hers. His lips brushed against hers. "Never forget that." He sat back into his seat. How was it that he could open up with her so freely? He had never been able to freely talk about his feelings although he had no problem speaking his mind. His heart soared with her words, the tears that swam in her eyes, her acceptance of his question. His angled face took on a more sheepish expression. "I didn't mean to worry you."

She knew she should trust her own heart, trust his as well and not keep putting herself through stupid unnecessary moments because of her own insecurities. Crispin had never done anything to make her feel insecure, he had only ever loved her. Cared for her and now he wanted to share his living space with her. The thought made her blush considering they would end up sharing a bed but here again she knew with Crispin she had nothing to worry about. If anything he had to worry about her in that regard, no self control what so ever when it came to him.

The waitress arrived wanting their order and she grinned apologetically, letting the woman know she had not even looked at the menu yet.
"Do you want to go first?" she smiled at Crispin though her eyes were buried into the menu, she was his heart and he was hers. How was she supposed to eat now, her appetite had quite literally gone out the window. Music began to play in the restaurant and she smiled stretching out her long legs and finding his in the way. It was simply a natural movement to wrap her legs about his grateful for the long table cloth that covered that much at least.

Crispin didn't have to look at the menu as he handed it to the waitress. "Steak, rare, baked potato with everything and a side of vegetables." His eyes were only for the red head across from him, although he did spare a glance and a polite smile for the waitress. He waited patiently for Andy to choose and to order before he nearly jumped at the feeling of her long legs wrapping around his under the table. His mismatched eyes darkened, a trick of the light, in response to the teasing if unintentional touch. "Have you made any plans for your winter vacation?" He did not tell her for what he had planned, nor of the gift he would part with to give her on graduation day.

Andy grinned at the waitress as soon as Crispin ordered.
"Oh I'll have what he's having but could you make my steak really rare, like blue" she grimaced but was grateful that the waitress merely nodded her head and went off to get their orders in. Her amber eyes almost twinkled wickedly in the light of the restuarant as she noticed his darken somewhat and biting her lip she glanced down at her hands before sheepishly looking back up at him.

"I should move my legs huh?" the movement was slow but she untwined her long limbs from his sliding them back across to her own side of the table hesitantly. She tried to think about what plans she had made and realized she had not even had a chance to talk to him about what her godmother had set up.

"Well I'm going to be spending the first week in St. Mungo's as a patient of Dr. Kolpecks and most likely working as a subordinate there for the rest of the vacation as well as working in Honeydukes and trying to sell the Silver Snake. I should really just take a week or two for myself shouldn't I before I burn out?" she chuckled resting her chin in her hands as she looked across the table to him.
"What have you got planned then? Did you want me to help you move in to your new home? I can make time for that of course and just because I didn't mention you does not mean you don't figure into any of my plans or thoughts. That's just a given, goes without saying" she told him very matter of factly.
