Another day another nickle. That was Atticus's motto. Since the band was a bit split up at the moment, he needed to make money somehow. He brought his acoustic guitar with him and sat on a bench. He hoped people would like his music. He began tuning his guitar to the right key. He then began playing Check Yes Juliet, by We The Kings. His voice soon began following the tune, as he sang the lyrics. He had set his hat on the ground, so people could drop money, hoping they would...

Candice made her way down the street, for once not holding her sketch book in her hands. She noticed a guy, a cool guy, sitting on the corner playing guitar. She dropped in a few coins and sat across the street, got out the sketchbook and drew him.

After about an hour of so she finished it, she would finish later but she had enough to recognise him if you saw it. She pulled up her socks and walked over to him, sitting besides him. "Have you made much money?" Candice wasn't good with personal question, she just said what was on her mind.

Atticus had noticed a pretty girl a little ways away from him. He wondered what she was drawing. After playing a couple sets, she seemed to be done and walked over to him. When she sat down, he couldn't contain a smile. Her question, which wasa weird one, set her up for the perfect pick-up line. "Probably not enough to buy you..... your earrings." He stopped himself, it almost made him sound like he was calling her a hooker or something.

He laughed as she poked his guitar and commented on it being solid. He had so many dirty things run through his mind, but he didn't say them. "Yeah, they usually are." he smiled at her. "I be Atticus, and you, my lovely lady?" He grinned and waited.

Candice looked him up and down, deciding if he was a stranger or a potential friend. "I be Candie. Can you be Atty?" She liked giving people names with the sound 'ee' at the end. "Atty" She said again, elongating the 'ee' sound until he stopped her.

He laughed a bit. "Only if you can be Candie Cane." He said lamely. He put a finger to his lips, "shh, the ee feels used." He laughed a bit. She would be fun.

He laughed, "Can i at least call you something cooler like, Ceceeee, or Cokieeeee?" He asked with a litle pout. Those have ee's in them." He laughed a little bit. When had he ever acted this childish. That's right, all the time.

Candice thought for a second, this boy was odd. A little younger than her but around her mental age, if not a bit higher. "You may call me Cookie or Candie. Those are your options take one or walk away, leaving your moneys behind." She was acting like a french general she had seen in a muggle film before.

He glared fakely at her, but he couldn't keep a strait face. He started to laugh and said, "Cookie it be!" He set his gitar down and pulled a wrapped cookie out of his pocket. "Want one, i always bring two." He smiled charmingly.

He laughed at her. She was so adorable. "I will, but only because you are so darn cute." He poked her nose and handed her a cookie, pulling another one out for himself. "Bon appetite, Mademoiselle." He said in perfect french. He had studied at Buexbatons for a year, a mainly french school. That gave him the upper hand.

Candice looked up when he spoke french ,she had half the cookie out her mouth. She bit on it, catching the half that fell. "Umm. Yes." She didn't know a word of french, she could speak German, Dutch, Italian and Spanish but no french at all. Alot of people found that odd.

He smiled at her, she was so cute. She was just the right amount of childish for him. "So cutie, what do you do for a living? Model? Dancer?" He asked, judging by her body, she could be both.

Candice shrugged, she didn't really do anything. There was the random babysitting and the occasional one off jobs where she'd sit in for someone. "Bits and bobs. Mostly bobs." She grinned, absent mindedly playing with the pages of her sketchbook. She always fiddled with her sketchbook, it was a habit, just like keepping a pencil behind her ear was.

He grinned and said probably the corniest thing ever. "Then boy do i wish my name was bob." He hoped she wouldn't slap him for saying that, most girls would have. He watched her toy with her sketch book. "Oh cool, what do you draw?"

"REally, so were you drawing me? Am i an interesting person?" He asked with a grin. if she said yes he might make a few moves on her. After all, she hadn't hit him... yet.

Candice nodded, still hugging her book but a little looser now. "Well if you weren't interesting I wouldn't still be talking to you." Her voice clearly added a loud and obnoxious DUH to the end of her sentance. Ad though that was the most obvious thing ever.

He laughed. He didn't know why it was funny, but it was. He smiled at the girl and asked, "so you got a boyfriend?" He was curious if anyone was going to come after him for this.

His heart sank slightly, but then rose again. Life is for fun, that had a few perks to it. He grinned, "I agree completely."

Candice grinne. "Good, I couldn't like someone who doesn't, then i'd have to get up and find someone else interesting to talk to and there aren't that many people around that aren't totally and utterly boring." She nodded as she spoke, looking even more like the child she acted as.

Atticus smiled at her. "Well what if i didn't want to be your boyfriend. Would that be alright, it's still fun." He winked playfully.
