Eliza was enjoying her time at Hogwarts so far. She hadn't made many friends as of yet, but that was okay. She had explored the castle a little, but there was so much more to explore. However, today El had decided to take a break from exploring the castle and wanted to focus on her comic books. The new Gryffindor had brought a stack filled with many different comic books. Most of them were superhero comics with a few different comics being different genres. Eliza was curled in one of the corners of the couches, her stack of comics was now sprawled everywhere on the small coffee table that was in front of the couch. She was currently reading one of the Thor comics, her dad had recently given to her before she had left for Hogwarts, which she was enjoying so far.

Dorian knew the Student Lounge was a gamble if he didn't want to be disturbed but his roommates had been doing something in their dorm and he didn't fancy his chances in the library with OWL students apparently already camping the stacks for exam prep. Plus, there was one couch in particular Dorian had found last year in a quieter corner that was extra comfy for reading and that was all he fancied doing right now.

He pulled up short once he got to the lounge, grinding his teeth quietly when he spotted a Gryffindor girl sprawled in said couch, a stack of magazines of some kind all over the table in front of her too. Why did he have to have such bad luck with annoying Gryffindors?

Dorian flexed his hand on the book he was carrying, sure someone was goggling at him just standing there awkwardly. He needed to find a new seat. Or say something. Should he just leave? "What are you even reading?" He blurted out, squinting at the cover in the girls hand with disdain. "Oh, is that a comic? I guess not actually reading, then," he said, annoyance ratcheting up a notch to know his favourite reading spot was being used by someone who didn't even apparently read real books.
