Peracting for Exsams

[Zazuka Getathorn]

Zazuka was spending almost her time eather behind a book or precticing the spells they had learned on test dummies she had... 'Borrowed'... from one of the class rooms. She would put them back when she was done only a little more battered than they where before. Zazuka had her magical music deive on full blast "Never Wanted To Dance' playing while Zazuka aimed diffrent spells at diffrent dummies. Defence Aganst the dark arts spells of course. She had made sevreal of her spare quills into spoons then found that she could turn anything into a spoon with that partucular spell.

Stupify! She called as the song chainged to 'Crownless' but Zazuka didn't seem to be paying much attention to it. It almost seemed like she was really fighting and infact Zazuka had let her already over active imagenation get away with her. An old pretend game she had had made for herself was Secret Agent Bones. Right now she battling Master Mind minnions. All of it was in her mind though and it was good parctice for the spells that she had learned though if anyone would walk in on her she would more than a bit silly.

Kasey was deciding that she would go back to the common room after her two hours of studying her notes.She wished she could practice some charms that she had learned this year, though they were very easy and Kasey had known and had been using them since before they were taught Kasey liked practicing.

She heard someone in what seemed to be an empty classroom practicing Stupefy.She turned the knob and opened the door and smiled at the sight of Zazuka."Hi Zazuka, practicing, I see.I still wish you beat Bruin"she said with another smile as she entred the classroom.

Zazuka snaped back into reality when she heard Kasey's voice. She her day deam stopped and Zazuka fell backwards on her own. "Bruin? you mean the Gryffendor? I could never if I dueled him he would completly distroy me but I think I could take on anyone in the first year look at this." She said and pointed her wand at one of the closer dummies. "Expelliarmus!" She called and not only the dummy's hand went back but the force was enough that the whole dummy was blown back a few feet. "I can push someone back farther with Everte Statum but I think that one is a bit too hyper for duling don't you?" She said really quickly. It was amasing she still had energy after practecing for about an hour now but she did. Zazuka pushed back the few strands of hair that had fallen from her lose braids than smiled wide at Kasey.

"Oh sorry!I had meant Brian."she said as her cheks turned red."I always get confused in there names"she added.She saw Zazuka's Experlliamus and it was really good."Wow! That was really cool"she said with a smile."Are you a memeber of the duelling club?"She asked."Yeah, Everte Statum is a bit harsh"she ansered to Zazuka's question.

Zazuka sighed. "I want to be but the Dule clube is closed to first years." Zazuka said sadly. "And don't worry about I'm complerly hopless with names and faces unless I see the person often." She said shaking her head. "I'm not really I got an A in flying and a an EE in Charms. He's got straight 'O's'." She said looking up at the cilling. Zazuka really didn't care that much about being the best. She only cared about being her best, the best she could be. Zazuka really didn't know what that was just yet but she hoping to find out soon.

"Whatever happens I will wish that you get the top place"she said with a grin."Its just a matter of two months and you will be able to join the duelling club"she added with a smile."

 

[Zazuka Getathorn]

Zazuka nodded really fast. "I would love that! I tryed to join this year but that's when we found out that we couldn't. Are you part of any school clubs?" She asked trying to get her mind off of Brian. Zazuka had been trying so hard to burry her non-plaitonic feelings for him but instead of having them fade they had grown. "Maybe I can get top spots next year if I'm not to afraid of perfessor Loyd." Zazuka added looking down. She was a shaimed of her fear of perfessor Loyd.

"Yeah, I am in the duelling club,The Wild Patch Club,Study-R-Us club, Exploration Club, Fashion designing or something club.I didn't go in that club for years its sort of dead and yeah in the Students Defence Association."she said making sure she hadn't missed any."And hey in my club, Friend Finder of course"she said adding with a grin.Kasey listened to Zazuka's explanation of scoring an EE in charms.

"When I was a first year I used to be so scared from Professor Nick and had scored lowest in the year because of that but than I realised how friendly he is"she said taking a pause to add some effect"especially with Professor Rambolt and her students"she said laughing "And this year I had scored highest in DADA"she continued."I know Professor Loyld looks scary because the first time saw him he had caught me wondering after hours"she said with a grin"But now he just looks the same and old Professor who only cares about his lessons"she added.

Zazuka nodded. "I'm sure I will get over my fear too one day. Anyway I want to be part of the Wild Patch but I haven't found the time get myself down to the green housed lately." She said the floished her wand and shot a Stupify over Kasey's shoulder. The dummie seemed to glow red before falling backwards. Zazuka smiled. "At this rate I may do well enough on exsams." She said taking a deep satifide breath.

"Of course you will and I am sure..no I think I heard some rumours that Professor Gabriel is going to have a hair style change because he wants to look more cool than smart infront of Professor Wesis"she said with a giggle."I'm sure you'll do great"she said."Have you planned anything for holidays?"She asked

 

[Zazuka Getathorn]

Zazuka laughed into her hand. "Oh my. The professors certenly do end up having a thing for one another." She said giggling slightly. "I'm staying at Andy's for the summer. What are you going to do for the holidays?" She asked brightly. It really wasn't her intention to say why she was staying at Andy though some people knew.

"Yep"said Kasey to Zazuka's reply."Oh taht will be fun"she said with a smile."Is anyone else invited like Brian because I usually see you guys as a trio"she asked.

((No the moment she set foot out of her hometown her mother said that she could never come back so a few monthes before Zazuka got to Hogwarts she had been living on her own off of funds that she thought came from her parents. Andy was the first to offer her a place to stay allong with Brian and Ivy B.))

Zazuka thought about that. "Well he can come if he if his parents let him come over but most it's going to be just me and Andy and her family for the summer. Still it should be lots of fun." Zazuka said brightly. She would be in a safe place that wasn't Hogwarts for the summer and that made her happy. Slowly the scares of the last nine years where fadeing. Both from her skin and from her heart.
