Owls all around

[Mallory Malkin]

Mallory sat in the White Serpent Manor as she thought whether to accept the invitation she had recieved from her friend in England or not. If she accepted it, Andrew would have to stay alone during the holidays. Mallory loved Andrew so much, maybe is Salem could be alive she wouldn't have loved him so much.

Catherine was very close friend of Mallory so she decided to accept her wedding invitation. It was a three week function in Canada and Catherine also wanted Mallory to design clothes for her so it was a two in one opportunity. Mallory sent an owl to Catherine saying that she would come. Mallory's trip would start one week before Andrew's holidays and end after Andrew was back to school. Mallory would miss him ofcourse but she knew he was a big boy and Lizzy would take care of him. She decided to write to him and Tamara, Andrew's owl was even anxious to do some delivery.

Dearest Andrew,

How are you? I hope your studies are going on well. I am fine here with lizzy taking great care of me. Just a bit bussy with the store as usual and missing you. Well, I hope you are fine now and have moved on with life and stopped running after Zazuka.She has her own life and her own decisions to make. After all you are very young for all this.

Anyway, I wrote to you to tell you that my close friend Catherine, who lives in canda is going to get married and she has invited me there. I obviously wanted to stay with you but she is really close so I can't tell her no. It's a three week function and I have also to design her clothes. So I wont be at home in the holidays.I hope you understand. If you wish to stay at school you can do so or if you wish to rest here its fine with me in both ways.

P.S Make Tamara stay there and write some letters to your friend.It will make her feel better to do some work.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

Andrew was sitting in the library trying to understand Arthimacy.He was startled by the sharp tap on the window.He was over joyed to see Tamara.But ofcourse she had something with her.It was a letter from Mal,Andrew realised as he saw her elegant handwriting.He red through.It was a good chance.Jake had asked him to come to his house in the holidays but Andrew had told him that Mal would feel lonely.

He took out his quill and ink bottle and started writing his reply in another piece of parchment.

Dear Mal,
I'm fine thankyou.Studies are going well actually i was just trying to study when Tamara arrived.I have moved on with life but it is quite hard as I have to see Zazuka everyday and it really doesn't help me recovering.

I understand how it is and I want you to go and enjoy yourself.Don't worry about me.I was asked by Jacob,my best friend to join him at his house this winter.So we will also enjoy ourselves.You might as well take Lizzy with you as a treat to her.Give her my regards.

He finished writing his letter.He kept it in the envelop and tied it to the owl's leg.He opened the window to let her go as he resumed reading,making a mental note of telling Jake that he would come to his house.

 

[Mallory Malkin]

It had been almost a day and half since Mallory had sent the owl to Andrew. At the moment, Mallory lay on her bed, her legs swinging in the air, as she read a fashion magzaine and circled out things that she thought were important and would use them for her new designs.

Just then, Tamara came into Mallory's room through her window and satrted flying around the room, too happy she was as she had got delivery after a long time. Mallory gave her some owl snack as she read Andrew's reply. She was pleased to know that he would not be alone.

Mallory went to her study and wrote back to Andrew.

Dear Andrew,

Just recieved your reply. I am happy to know that you will not be staying alone in the holidays. I am glad that you are studying seriously and hope your halloween goes well. If you are in need of costumes, you can always come to see me at the store during your trip.

Lizzy, I am afraid will not be leaving the manor as she has other tasks to do. I however hope to see you during your Brightstone trip and wish to know what you are dressing up for halloween. If you take pictures, do send them to me.
