Vacation hit again for the students of Drumstrang, Issy couldn't be more happier to be out of school for a couple weeks. She had plans to visit New Zealand and stay with her aunts in Brightstone Village. That's exactly what she did, traveling by floo powder Network to get there, she wasted no time in Enjoying her vacation the first week she got there. She did just about everything and was generously funded by her aunts when it came to buying new clothes addition to a few pair of sun glasses. That's least she wanted to do here in New Zealand. Rumors were spreading like wild fire that a woman surfing competition would be held on a Saturday for all surfers over the age of eighteen. That would've been a great opportunity for Issy, but it looks like she would be watching this year. Yet she didn't fret to much about it, it was an annual thing apparently so she will have her shot someday.

Saturday came early that morning for the young blonde. She been waiting since Thursday for the competition to start up, delightedly it was Saturday. She spent a half hour getting dress and like twenty minutes munching down on breakfast. Her younger cousin and aunts promise they would show later, if not maybe next time for them. Issy didn't bug, surfing was her thing so why bother them? She walked without a board in hand, instead she carried a bag of beach items and food. She had sandwiches made for her and a water bottle that filled itself when it became emptied. She was definitely ready for the beach, so was half of New Zealand when she got there. There was rows of stands set up for the audience, she found a good spot right underneath a tree. Setting herself up, she waited for the competition to began.

Alyssa inhaled the salty sea hair and smiled softly. She was really glad that she had decided to take a walk today. Being indoors all the time was pretty boring when the weather had been as nice as it had lately. Chacen seemed to be enjoying the walk too. Then again, Chacen seemed happy and eager regardless of what they did. Alyssa recalled him being tickled pink when he was allowed to play in mommy's purse this morning. It was getting harder and harder to keep him out of stuff. He was a little over twelve months and had just begun walking. He wasn't very good at keeping himself up all the time, but he was still able to get around. Enough to the point where a lot of things had to be moved out of his reach. Her son was a trouble-maker at times, and sadly a womanizer in the works. Alyssa tried to work at getting him to be polite to everyone. But whenever a pretty girl was around he completely lost himself. He loved the ladies. The only men he really cared to bother with was his father and grandfather. Other than that, he wanted little to do with them. 'It's actually pretty cute right now. I can only imagine what a nightmare it'll become when he's older though.' She worried that one of these days he might bring some really desperate girl of his over to the house and Alyssa would have to deal with her. The last thing Alyssa appreciated was a girl that couldn't handle herself. Perhaps she would leave that whole issue on Vincent. That was years down the road so who knows how things could be handle. A gull cried out above Alyssa and she lifted her head to look up at it. There seemed to be a lost of tourists out today. Perhaps someone was going on in town? Alyssa kind of wanted to check it out. Maybe it could even assist in keeping Chacen occupied for a little bit. Alyssa pushed the stroller forward and hoped to see something worth while.

Eventually Alyssa wound up at a surfing competition. Alyssa was never into surfing when it came to doing it herself, but it was fun to watch. Alyssa picked her son out of the stroller and set him down for a moment so she could pack it away. A stroller wouldn't do very well on sand. Tapping a wand on the device it shrunk down and she set it into the magically bag she carried over her shoulder. When Alyssa turned to pick her son up, she noticed he had already toddled on over to a young looking female who was settled near a tree. "Chacen!" Alyssa muttered as she hurried over to him. He seemed like he was trying to get her attention or something, it figured that he would find himself another lovely young woman to try and get under his charm. He had Veela blood within him so it was pretty easy for the most part. "I am so sorry miss! He's just really friendly with the ladies." Alyssa apologized and picked her son up. She threw an apologetic smile, which even though it wasn't intended to be, still happened to be pretty and almost angelic. Her son had a real problem on his hand too. The woman looked familiar too. Which was odd. Had they met before? "I'm sorry...you look really familiar. Have we met before?" It was a bit forward, but Alyssa just felt like she knew this girl from somewhere. She looked too young to have gone to school with Alyssa. Mayhaps she was a younger student, or she visited St. Mungos?

Issy waited for the competition to begin. She was full with excitement, the thrill was driving her heart to beat fast. Surfing was like an addiction, she could never get enough from it. It was odd for her, to be so into a sport that hardly gets recognize in Russia. She tried years ago to bring to her friends attention, girls up there did not know what other kind of fun exist. To them it was all about the Raves and sex, it's a good thing she been feeling about moving to New Zealand. Its' where she belong, underneath that south side sun. All day everyday, no better life then that. A loud whistle shrill at distant, Issy looked around for the source of the loud sound. Looks like the competition was starting, she was glue to where the referee was posted.

Staring out onto the sands, Issy was attack by a pair of small human hands. Not really much of an attack, more like embrace lightly by a small body. She check to look down and was surprise the small pair of hands belong to a small beautiful looking child. Issy laughed, this was a first. The little doe eyed boy went reaching for her face, she would be weird about it but let it be. Soon enough his mum join him, she apologize for his mischief behavior. Issy didn't sweat it much. "It's fine, he so adorable! He's going to be such a lady killer" she suppress a giggle. To Cute.

Briefly she turn her eyes back at the sand, the race was stalling. Any minute now the crowd would start to clap and cheers for the ones entering the competition. Her attention was pulled away back at the woman, she asked if they met before. It was then Issy took a good luck at her, she was generous looking woman, then hit her at the moment. She recognize her healer's face from anywhere. How could I forget the one who help me the time I broke my leg. "Oh! I remember you help me with my leg, you was my healer" she exclaimed. "Thanks for that! How you've been if you don't mind that I ask? I'm here alone and have no company" she hinted.

I'm horrible. Sorry I took so long. :(

Alyssa did find it rather funny that her son had scoped out a pretty looking lady friend to hang off of while here, but it still also worried her that he was bothering this poor woman. It was a rare occurrence when someone did get upset because of how cute he was, but it has happened before. Some people really did not like children. But whatever, they weren't really Alyssa's problem. Smiling softly Alyssa looked down at her son fondly. "Oh goodness, I hope not. I don't know if I can deal with any girlfriend drama when he gets older. I had enough of my own when I was younger." Alyssa snorted. She didn't have too much, but back with Aiden and everything. That was enough for one lifetime, it was lucky for her that she met Vincent. What always broke her heart was the memory of her almost not going to get some food at that restaurant. In fact it was a last minute decision of hers to go and get food at all. If she had just head home instead of stopping she never would've met Vincent and her son wouldn't be here. Wasn't it funny how fate worked out? Alyssa wanted to ask the woman if she had any children. But she looked awful young. That much the Healer was able to tell. Then again it seemed like all ages of girls were having babies these days. "It's cute now but wait until he's older. He'll learn." Some women did not appreciate men like that. Alyssa thought that Chacen was a little bit like his father. In a way. Vincent wasn't like that with other women, but he sure as hell could be persistent with her. Not that Alyssa minded. She thought it was cute and endearing. It was good to know he needed her as much as she needed him.

Alyssa wasn't surprised to hear that she had healed the girl once. Not only did she look familiar but Alyssa worked quite a bit. Chances are she's healed many people in New Zealand. "Oh that's right. I hoping you're not planning on gaining another injury today. But you're welcome though." Alyssa asked playfully. She wouldn't mind healing her again but getting injured over and over again couldn't be good for one's body. The crowd could be heard in the background and Alyssa wondered if the event had begun or something else was going on. This sort of this wasn't exactly Alyssa's forte. She never attended them. But since she loved the beach and wanted to take her baby out for a day in the sun, she figured she would just deal. The beach was nice today. If she had brought a swimsuit she might even take Chacen swimming. They had a private beach in the back of their home so he had been swimming before. But the waves were a lot more wild here. Chacen might have fun. Perhaps when she got home later she would see if Vincent wanted to come. "I've been alright. Busy with work and keeping this rugrat entertained. How have you been?" Being a parent was hard work. That was why right now, Alyssa only had one and only wanted one. But she was curious to see how the woman had been. Was she still surfing or did she quit after that one injury?

Issy had a bag strap to her shoulder that day. It was one of those handmade bags that came from different country. This one had been a gift and it came from South America. Strings of colorful leather hang from one end of her bag that instantly grabs the little curious boy attention. Issy allowed him to run his tiny fingers through leather strings. She’d watched him, he was absolutely adorable. “Don’t we all” Issy responded automatically to his mom about drama. She had it with Zac and Jaden, a little less Jaden but now she was single and set free from the drama. Lately she’s taking advantage of being single and letting guys fall for her and Issy not responding. It was hard to separate those who liked her for her looks or her personality. Having trouble to separate the two, Issy stayed single. Whenever the seventeen year old was ready, she’d find the connection to someone meaningful. “Oh I don’t know, I think he’ll be the absolute gentleman” she snickered; she went by first impression of mom, whom she’s met before. The woman was generous; chances are he’ll take after her versus the father.

“No, I am still an amateur compare to these guys” thinking back to her St.Mungos stay, it was nice yet she disliked having to drink that god awful potion. Her bone mend well overtime, yet the taste of the potion tainted her taste. Issy could already feel her stomach lurch from natural reflects. She made a face, drops her gaze and shook her head. “Since you help me I’ve been okay, I decided to move here after I finished Drumstrang, still undecided though” there was a lot to consider before moving, and Issy getting a job was the first step making this move happen. She hasn’t looked in The New Zealand Gazette and was in no rush to either. Options, that’s what she wanted and it certainly how she was going about her choices. Options and that was all.

The sound barrier broke her away from the woman again, the competition started finally! Issy paid five minutes of her attention to the surfing, the entries were a little older, the ones that would get sponsored.

It's okay :)

Alyssa wondered if this girl had been busy breaking hearts and causing drama. It was hard to avoid such a thing when one was young, that one the former Slytherin knew all to well. It wasn't until she married the love of her life and had her son that she realized there were better things in one's life then getting involved in drama. "I'm sure you've had your share of drama though." Alyssa thought back to her school years. For the first four years at Hogwarts Alyssa was quite the brat. It wasn't until she grew older and fell for Vincent that things began to change. Growing up wasn't easy but Alyssa was not a completely different person today. She was a sweetheart who genuinely cared about everyone. Back then she wouldn't have ever guessed that she would be this way. But now here she was with a husband, a baby, and a job where she helped people out all day. Alyssa loved to help people. Leaning down Alyssa kissed the top of her son's head and smiled when he giggled happily and began to play in the sand. If it was one thing Alyssa could hope for when it came to Chacen, was that he grew up to be a good man. One that followed the path of light and stayed away from Theodore's ideas. All Alyssa could ever ask for from her son was that he would promise to never turn out like Theodore or Grandpa Alphonse. 'I really hope you're right." Alyssa murmured as she watched her son. This woman seemed to have faith in her ability to be a parent. Hopefully it was stranger could see something good within Chacen, then it was true. Alyssa was thankful to have met with Isidora today. It made her feel a lot better about the way she was raising her son.

"Really? I thought you were pretty good. Then again, I know little about surfing." Alyssa was barely that good of a swimmer. Even though she had a beach located in her backyard at home practically, she rarely went swimming. When Alyssa did decide to take a dip into the water, she barely ever went in deeper than waist deep. Water sports were not really Alyssa's thing. But they were pretty fun to watch. Alyssa glanced over at Isidora and wondered if she was thinking back to the day that she had arrived at St. Mungos with that injury. It didn't take Alyssa long to heal her, but she could imagine it was pretty damn scary to experience. "You Graduate this year right?" Alyssa could hear the competition beginning. For a moment she watched the surfers get into position then begin. They all seemed to sturdy and graceful when it came to their sport. It was unfortunate that Isidora wasn't going to compete. She would have done well.

Issy nodded. She had her share of drama that she could say she had so. Thought thinking back on it now, it wasn't all that bad. She would say drama had been all mellow dramatic, nothing that she could of handle on her own. The blonde was toughed, she got that side of her from her family. They were the type to not take nonsense from anyone that cross their path. Issy was proud of it, they weren't a big family still they carried themselves proud. Her aunt happen to be an incredible example of that strength, all that she was put through in school and the love she had for her wife it amazed Issy whenever she saw them together. And their love was phenomenal, they loved each other more then those that hated them in the past. Issy wished to one day find something like that. She smiled at the little boy, she wasn't sure about kids though, she admired anyone who was a mother to have the guts to raise a child. Issy thinking about weird her out, she couldn't say she would have a child one day but she did look up to those who were responsible for another human being.

"Nah I'm getting there, It's not easy looking for a good beach up north without the wind blowing constant at you. That's why I like it here, so chilled and relaxing" Issy brushed away the strain of hair that actually started moving from a passing bit of wind. She swept them behind her hair, her hair was long and it passed her shoulder. Sometimes she kept in the braid to maintain from getting caught in her mouth. Issy wanted to cut it a bit and add some color to make it standout more. Issy loved the blonde, mostly everyone in her family had blonde hair, except for her aunt now and Dymetris. "It all depends really, I kinda left school during last year to help my sister with her daughter. She had her last year and she needed help so I ditch school" Issy responded to Alyssa, her attention went back to the competition, someone in the middle of catching a wave had wipe out already. In some ways Issy was feeling disappointed she hadn't sign up this year, she could've had caught that wave and done better. Issy looked back at Alyssa, "Do you want to get a slush with me? There's a stand over there" Issy pointed at the man, he was dressed in short sleeves shirt and pants with a symbol matching his stands. He sold flavored ice, Issy enjoyed it as much as she like watching surfing. The pair always went together whenever Issy was out here watching the newbies compete.
