Hinata could have sworn that she had memorized the way from the Potions classroom and out of the dungeons. But then again, she had followed the professor out of the classroom and through a couple of corridors before she gathered enough courage to ask a question related to what was discussed in class. So, she really did know the way from the Potions Classroom to out of the dungeons; the problem is that she wasn't outside of the Potions Classroom. She had already encountered two dead ends so far, and at this point, she had practically given up. She had started to tell herself that she was just out for a stroll in the dungeons to relax. It was not the ideal place for a stroll, but it was better to think of it that way than just wandering aimlessly hoping to spot the door to the Potions classroom or miraculously the staircase that would bring her up and out of the dungeons. That was wishful thinking, though. Besides, it was dark and intimidating in the dungeons; she suspected it was cause the stone walls were illuminated by the fire, and being underground didn't offer much opportunity for sunlight. Hopefully, she'd manage to find her way soon. As she turned a corridor and found another dead end, she thought that maybe soon would not come as fast as she thought.

@Terror Zhefarovich

Terror Zhefarovich roamed the dungeons a fair bit. After all, the Slytherin house was there, as was the potions classroom. He did not have potions that semester but Horror did. He could get ahead and start practicing, but he did not. He could work on the potions that they had last year just to keep his skills up. Terror ultimately decided against this too, since he did not feel like being studious. He needed some sort of entertainment. And now that he was a prefect, he couldn't just do what he wanted. If he had to, he needed to be more sly about his doings. Gregory was no longer a target anymore. That was all for Cassius - if Cassius still continued with that sort of thing. As he walked, he saw a Hufflepuff girl. Judging from her reaching a dead end, she must be lost. Well, he wanted some entertainment, and it looked like he just got some. He leaned against the stone wall, allowing the firelight to cast shadows across his face. "Did you want to reach that dead end or are you lost?"

Hinata, if she were not used to this, would have groaned in frustration and lamented over being lost in the dungeons for whoever knows how long. As it was, she was already used to getting lost. Had given up on knowing the passageways, in fact, she'd written home to ask if one of her older brothers had a map. In the meantime, while the said map was non-existent in her hands, it was best to just turn back and try to find another way. Before she could turn back, however, she was startled by a voice behind her. Hina turned slowly to find a familiar face. She knew Horror, they'd been classmates for years, and he'd already found her lost before. But as she caught a glimpse of the badge on the boy's robes, she hesitated. Hinata did not know this boy. She'd heard of him, but she doesn't think they'd met before now. "Lost," she admittedly quietly, averting her eyes from the boy. There was no use lying, the question now would be if she should ask for help or if she should just excuse herself to not bother him. This was running through her mind as she fidgeted with her hands while standing idly on the dead-end corridor.

Terror nodded along, as she said that she was lost. Her eyes averted from his, so he could only assume that she was shy or something like that. Terror could work with that. "You look like you are in the same year as Horror, so that makes you a fifth year. How could you be lost after you’ve been here for this long?" Terror asked, his tone somewhat condescending. It was not intentional - in a way. Terror was not exactly a friendly person, and it was known too. After all, who else would dare use the slur for muggle-borns in front of an audience. Terror still did not know why in the world he was given that badge. He was certainly not a role model. Still, he did not like not having the title Quidditch captain like Horror had.

"I am," Hinata admitted quietly and she flushed rather spectacularly at being called out for being lost after all this time. She was working on it. It was slow-going, but there were improvements. She mostly doesn't get lost on the third floor nowadays, which was of course, a vast improvement considering that Horror had found her lost there years ago. "I don't roam around the dungeons much," she said because that was true. She could find her way to and from the Potions Classroom. Everywhere else in the dungeons was free game though and were hit or miss. Mostly miss. It's not like she has any need to figure out the layout of the dungeons! Or most of the castle really. In the last four years, Hina had stuck to attending classes and staying in the dorm since meeting and talking to people - especially groups of people - tend to be overwhelming. Even this was getting overwhelming enough. She swallows, feeling the familiar nervousness creeping in her. "W-Will you help me get back?" It didn't hurt to ask. If he didn't want to then she'll find her own way back... eventually.

At least she was not lying about what she was doing, and who she was. Terror could admire the honesty, though he expected as such from Hufflepuffs. He thought about what he should do in this sort of situation. She knew Horror, but how close were they? Did she know that Horror had a girlfriend now? Terror looked around the dungeons with his red eyes. "There's really nothing down here that is of interest to consider roaming." Terror could, but he was a Slytherin, and the more interesting classes and chambers were down here. This was his home sweet home, in a way. He did miss his own house, but that was another story. And then she asked if he would help her get back. Terror considered it, but he also considered just leaving her down here. Maybe in about ten years, someone would find her skeleton. An amusing, but unrealistic thought. Someone would notice her missing - that he was sure of. "Depends. Where were you heading? I don't know how to lead you into the Hufflepuff commons."
