Sophie was procrastinating. It was as simple as that. The girl had exams coming up, much like all the other students, but instead of studying for them she was doodling in her sketchbook. Normally her work for Hogwarts Monthly was something she did when she didn't feel like working on her schoolwork, but she had already finished her article for the next issue. She had looked around for Isaac or any of her friends to hang out with, but had been unsuccessful. That was probably for the best. Just because she didn't feel like studying, didn't mean she had to distract other people who might care more about their grades. Sophie felt fairly confident about her ability to get passing grades on her exams, and that was all she really aimed for. Her pencil flew over the page as she doodled random faces, arrows, skulls, and other random things. In one corner she drew a guy with a silly face she thought of as Gabriel, and underneath it she doodled a cross-eyed lion with its tongue sticking out. But when the paper was full, she realized she really had no use for this. The girl tore it from her sketchbook, balled it up and tossed it at the trashcan. Unsurprisingly, it missed. She really hadn't missed a secret calling as a chaser. She sighed, but didn't get up. Instead, she grabbed a fresh piece of paper. She would throw it in when she got up to leave. There was no point in getting up unnecessarily.

The blonde Swedish boy decided to go somewhere else than the Quidditch Pitch or outside, It wasn't the most beautiful day also, so it would be an inside day he figured. He knew exams were coming up but the boy really didn't cared that much. He knew what his future would become and what he wanted to do, so no point in something else than Quidditch. He knew his Head of House and father would think different of it, but he didn't want to think about that. Gabriel walked into the Student lounge and figured it would be a nice place to relax a bit. He wasn't a book reader, he kind of hated it but he wanted to see what others were doing there. He liked to have fun and perhaps he would run into some Gryffindors or his sister. The chance of a family member was also present, since they were around the school too. But he noticed someone else, someone he sometimes thought of but not in a good way. It was his enemy Sophie. She sat there and had something in her hands, he couldn't really tell what. But when she threw the thing away and seemed to miss, he looked at the trashcan. She definitly missed and how. The blonde walked slowly and took the paper from the ground. Was this her diary or something? That was something what girls did he had heard. Sofia had one he knew, he tried to read it once. Well Sofia wasn't that happy with it, so he got a book to his head. He had learned from that. When he opened the paper he started to laugh. It was a drawing or something but he noticed a lion. It wasn't that bad, he was kind of suprised. But it still looked funny. '' Wow Sophie. You really do have some talent. I didn't thought it was possible. But a Lion? Are you making fun of Gryffindor or something?'' Gabriel was a true Gryffindor fan. He loved the house he was in. The blonde looked at Sophie for a moment to see her reaction.

After tossing the paper away, Sophie started focusing on a new drawing. This time, she didn’t just want to doodle randomly but actually draw something. But she still mostly let her hand move freely, drawing a tree in the middle of the page with a few birds flying from the branches. It really wasn’t very special, nor did it really mean anything. She just liked drawing birds. But she looked up when a voice sounded nearby, and a frown immediately appeared on her face at the sight of Gabriel Rosenberg. This boy always seemed to be around when she did something stupid, and she was just waiting for him to make fun of her missing the trash can with her drawing. But then she noticed he was actually holding the discarded paper and was looking at it. Somehow, this made her both annoyed and a little embarrassed, as it had been meant for the trash and not anyone's eyes. She wondered if he would recognize himself in the weird looking guy she had drawn in the corner, but wasn't sure if he would because she hadn't taken a lot of care to make it look like him. She wasn’t sure how to take his comment about talent, though she had a feeling it wasn’t really a compliment. Gabriel hated her as much as she hated him, that had been how they had interacted since their first year. What was he playing at? The Ravenclaw rolled her eyes at his question, finally speaking up. “You’re a genius, Gabriel. I can’t believe you figured out the secret symbolism of me drawing a lion with a stupid face,” her tone was sarcastic, but not very harsh. “Can you use your chaser skills to throw that away? Then they are at least good for something.” She smiled slightly, as this type of taunting back and forth was what she was used to with him. She expected the boy to get into a huff, possibly throw the paper back at her, and leave. But maybe he would surprise her. Either way, this was still a lot more entertaining than studying.
