- Parents: Mother : Denise Marshall - died of cancer in 2010. Witch born to muggle mother and wizard father. Was a professor of charms at Salem.

Father: Edward Clavelle - Dragon Breeder, Wizard. Killed by freak accident involving Hungarian Horntail in 2018.

- Siblings, if any: no siblings
- Family: Aunt: Mordain Clavelle - raised Odette after mother was died as her father was constantly away, throwing himself into his work so as not to think about his beautiful wife or the daughter who so resembled her.
Mordain is 30 years old and is a writer - freelance journalist for The Quibbler as well as a novelist.

- Pets, if any: Marmite - a ginger tabby cat

- Area of Residence: They did live in London, England but have recently moved to NewZealand for a fresh start. Odette attended Hogwarts in Scotland for the first three years of her magical schooling.

- Hogwarts House (And why): She was a Gryffindor student back in Scotland and hopes the hat will sort her into the same house here in New Zealand.

- Best school subjects (And why): She has a natural apptitude for Charms

- Worst school subjects (And why): She had chosen to take Arithmancy as one of her electives and it completely stumps her as to why she chose it and why the subject even exists.

- What would their Boggart be? the dark; ever since her fathers death she had dreaded it.
- What would their Animagus form be? a horse, mainly as she is very tall and her long dark hair resembles the mane of one. She is also very proud and poised.
- What would your character see if he/she looked in the Mirror of Erised? proudly holding the House Cup and being Head Girl.
- What memory could they use to create a Patronus? a moment when she was with both her parents.


Favourite Colour: She likes the colour brown for its earthiness and simplicity.

Orientation: Odette knew from an early age that she preferred girls. She never saw the fascination for boys. She dated her first girlfriend at the age of 13 yrs, Grace Appleby. They dated for 3 months and finished amicably enough. Her next relationship was for longer and the break up was not so smooth. Gemino Forster was a year older than Odette and broke Odette's heart. It was this breakup that sent her on a downward spiral, turning to anorexia to help her cope with her feelings and lack of self worth. After being treated at St. Mungos and with the loving attention of her aunt, Odette finally pulled through. Mordain decided that a complete change would benefit them both and so they moved to New Zealand.

Hobbies and Interest: reading, writing, flying, duelling, walking, running and swimming.

I apologise if the answers are monotonal in some, I didn't expect this many questions when I returned.

1. Your mother taught at Salem, was she American? Yes she was. Originally from Chicago, Illinois.
2. How did your parents meet? At Hogwarts Scotland, they were of the same house.
3. Have you ever wanted siblings? When I was younger so I would have some one to play with but not so much as I grew up.

4. Is your aunt Mordain the only relation you have? The only one I know of.
5. Have you any memories of your mother or is it only stories from others you have of her? It' s really only stories told about her that I have, my mother also kept a diary box which she started when she was first diagnosed. So I have all the memories in that too.
6. How were you after your father died? I kind of crashed. Went off the deep end a bit I suppose. Cut up my hair but of course it didn't stay short for long, it kept growing back again. I smashed every mirror in our home, I don't know why and I attempted to run away though I didn't get very far.

7. When did you first know you preferred girls? I think I always knew. I have always had boys as friends but I never looked at them the way the other girls did. I saw something very beautiful in girls and was simply drawn to them.
8. Was Gemino in the same house as you? Yes.
9. Why did ye break up? She was experimenting apparently. She knew that I wasn't and simply wanted to see what it was like but we cared about one another. We were together nearly 9 mnths thought we spent most of those months arguing. Me trying to convince her of how I felt. Eventually she broke up with me to be with a boy from our house as well. Then I had to watch them in the common room, sometimes I think she purposefully kissed him everytime I entered the room.

10. Do you still suffer with anorexia? No, I spent quite some time in St. Mungo's and my aunt was a huge support. I think I've put her through enough not to want to be like that again. I feel as if I have so much more confidence in myself now as well.
11. Why did you and your aunt choose New Zealand? It seemed the furthest place to make a completely fresh start. Actually, we spun a globe and stuck a pin in it.

3. When was she diagnosed? She had a very late diagnosis, a year before she died. There was nothing that could be done.
4. What blood status was Edward? Half Blood
5. Even though Edward was constantly away, did his death affect Odette greatly? Yes it did.
6. How does your Aunt Mordain feel about you being a lesbian? She thinks it's simply a phase as she went through 'something similar' while she was at school. I don't even bother trying to explain myself anymore. I know who I am and that's what matters right?

7. You've mentioned that she likes rock music, who is her favorite musician? A few of the more emo style metal bands that are out at the moment in the magical community, I don't know many muggle bands. I guess Symprian Sister, The Bogs, Flippend Flippeed.
8. Did Odette - on a subconscious or conscious level - have anorexia just for the attention? Considering my life felt like it was spiralling out of control, I seriously thought the only thing I could control was something as simple and as basic as my eating habits. I wish it had been for attention, maybe then I would have known to stop sooner instead of needing medical intervention.

9. Does Odette wish to follow in her mother's footsteps and be a Charms Professor? I don't know, just because I have a natural apptitude for it doesn't really mean I will follow it. I haven't put too much thought just yet into what I want to do after I graduate.
10. As Divination, Ancient Runes and Arithmancy are closely linked would you say Odette feels similarly about those two courses as she does to Arithmancy? Oh, pretty much.

11. What occured during this moment with Odette and her parents that would make her be able to produce a patronus charm? Nothing at all would have to happen. The happiness is simply in being together. Being a family like we should have been.
12. What is Odette's favorite novel? I always have enjoyed the wizarding tales of Beedle the Bard or the muggle book The Crucible which is their take on the Salem Witch Trials
13. Does she prefer muggle literature to wizarding? Not really, they have imagination but don't believe in what they write.
14. Which genre is her favorite? I prefer text books to be honest.

15. Does Odette have any distinguishing marks/scars? I have a scar just behind my left ear, when I was younger I decided to tray sleigh down the stairs and crashed into the bannister.
16. Give five personality discriptive words each for Edward: brilliant, handsome, kind, loving, funny.
Denise: beautiful, intelligent, loving, considerate, wonderful and Mordain: caring, considerate, good listener, fairminded, kind.
17. Does Odette wish to have a sibling? If so, boy or girl, if not why? Not really, think I'm a bit old to be having any now but if Mordain ever did get name saked to someone and then had children, I'd be supportive and helpful but I don't think I'd ever see them as siblings, just cousins.

18. What happened in the freak accident with the Hungarian Horntail in 2018 causing Odette's father to loose his life? The short version and the less gruesome is that two Hungarian Horntails escaped, broke their chains. When my father was attempting to recapture them with a few others, he was burnt to death.
