I've done a lot of work on Nydia, I spent a week "designing" her before I actually made the account.
Darkness always had its part to play. Without it, how would we know when we walked in the light? It's only when its ambitions become too grandiose that it must be opposed, disciplined, sometime - if necessary - brought down for a time. Then it will rise again, as it must.

Nydia is pronounced NIH-dee-ah. Nydia was a blind flower-seller who saved her beloved at the cost of her own life. It is of Latin origin, and its meaning is "nest".
Nydia was given the name because her parents liked the sound. They didn't know the meaning of it at all.
Onit is pronounced ON-eet. It is of Hebrew origin and means "graceful"
Nydia was given the middle name Onit because it was her maternal grandmother's middle name.

Basic Appearance:
- Nydia's hair is naturally dark brown and it falls in loose ringlets just past her shoulders. Her eyes are a blue-gray colour, and the most prominant feature of her face. Nydia's eyes are usually closed or she looks at the ground when she does anything, so not many people have seen her eyes properly.
The reason for this is because she has an eye diesese that creates a while film over her vision, unenabling her to see things properly. Nydia can see, just not very well. Her vision is blurry at the best of times. Nydia might have been able to prevent the diesese if she had found out about it earlier, and gone to a specialist. Nydia's parents only found out about her diesese when she was seven, they had previously thought that she was trying to get attention from them.
Nydia is quite short, standing at around 4"4, but she is expected to grow a lot more. Her skin is olive and she has faint freckles on her face and shoulders. Nydia's clothing syle is more formal than most eleven year olds, and she is more comfortable wearing a dress than shorts and a tee. She is never seen without lipgloss on, and she usually wears mascara to parties.
Personality:
- Nydia doesn't know who she is supposed to be, and has issues with her personality. She is quiet and shy around people but she is inwardly kicking herself to be more outgoing. Nydia hates being shy, and is very awkward when talking to new people.

Nydia's twin sister, Cleo Santiago. Nydia and Cleo don't get on too well, as Cleo is jealous of all the attention Nydia gets from the family because of her eye diesese.
Cousin
Angelina "Lina" Lefèvre. Attends Beauxbatons Academy and is currently in her second year. Lina is Nydia's best friend in the world, and Nydia misses her heaps. They keep in contact through letters. Lina currently lives in France with her sister.

Emalee "Emmy" Lefèvre. Nydia's very optimistic cousin. Same age as Nydia and about to attend Beauxbatons. Nydia and Emmy are friends, but Nydia has more of a bond with Lina than Emmy.

Kaylee Santiago, ex-Beauxbatons student. Works as a (muggle) school teacher. She is a half-blood witch, and a muggle-lover.

Logan, ex-Ravenclaw at Hogwarts. Works as an Unspeakable. Muggleborn wizard

Kaylee and Logan met in their fifth year during the holidays in France. They became friends, and kept in contact through letters. They spent every holiday together, and Kaylee fell in love with Logan on the first day of holidays when they finally got to see each other. The day Logan graduated, he realized he was in love with Kaylee. He broke up with his girlfriend, Toni Hammond and flew to France. Toni was pregnant with Logan's child at the time, but he knew nothing about it.
Logan proposed to Kaylee, and she said yes. They both lived in France for a while. A few months years later, they had twin daughters, Cleo and Nydia. When their daughters were nine, they moved to Australia.
Toni Hammond began to go out with her best friend David Swann, and told him she was pregnant with his baby. The baby was really Logan's, but Toni didn't tell David that. The baby was born, and Toni got married to David. The baby was a girl, and Toni named her Lexi. A year later, Toni and David had another daughter and named her Lucy.
