Lola tightly fisted the two letters in her hand that she had written. One to her parents and one to her cousin. It was strange that for so long she and Kat had never really had much in common at all (and technically still didn't), but still they wrote to each other weekly just to catch up. The fifth year had even taken to meeting up with her other cousin, Serena, every now and again and for her that was just about as social as she got. It was sad really...at almost sixteen years old the Raveclaw didn't have any real friends to speak of. One would think that after five years of schooling she'd at least have one, but alas it seemed she was doomed to be a hermit for the rest of her life.
Once the letters had been sent off with one of the school owls, Lola turned and headed down the stairs, watching her feet as she walked. Unfortunately for her watching her feet meant she wasn't paying too much attention to where she was going and to whom was around her which caused her to slam into some poor unsuspecting passerby. "Barnacles and jellyfish," she murmured under her breath as she beant down to pick up her glasses which had been dislodged from her face. Finding them she placed them back in their proper spot as she quickly scrambled to help the poor girl she'd run into pick up her things. "I really am very sorry about this. If anything's broken then I'll pay for it," she said flustered to no living end.
