Jenny sat on a big, comfy armchair, tapping her quill against her notebook as she re-read her poem over and over again. The words didn't flow right, and the rythm was terrible. She sighed. Some days she could write two entire pages of one poem in 10 minutes, and other days she couldn't even start the first line. Inspiration was what she needed, and at Hogwarts, she was surprised she couldn't find any. She stopped tapping her pen and looked into the fireplace to daydream. It was easiest to counger up ideas when she was daydreaming, which was why she always carried her notebook. A few things hazily crossed her mind, till she was snapped out of it when somebody sat in the armchair next to her.

Jenny looked over, surprised. The student lounge was fairly empty, and she was unsure why anybody would choose to sit next to her. She smiled slightly, pulling her feet up onto the armchair and slipping off her shoes. She wiggled her toes, staring back into the fireplace. Then it came to her, what to write about, and she grabbed her notebook, dipped her quill into the ink and began scrawling out her poem before she forgot.

Snow thought it weird that the student lounge wasn't crowded today. She came here to look for some of her friends, who--just like her--seemed to have drifted to silence during these past months. She was done outlining her novel's plot. That was the only reason why she decided to enjoy for the moment. As she looked around the room, she knew her friends weren't there. Raffaelo, Wisteria, Daryl. Clyde... Snow was done with that relationship. It was just puppy love. But somehow, she missed hanging out with Clyde; talking about all those nonsense...

Well, no matter. It was done and she needs to move one. Walking inside, Snow found a vacant seat next to a girl who seemed to be busy writing. She sat down and brought out Faust. The book enthralled her. For some time she continued reading it. Until she got tired and decided to close the book.

She looked up at the ceiling, and then to the other students around the room. Nothing important. And then finally, she looked at the girl beside her. "A novel?" she asked the girl, not seeing the paper clearly. Snow smiled. "I'm Snow, by the way. It seems like you're a new face. First year?"
