Since the first day back at Hogwarts New Zealand, loneliness hung over her head like a Guillotines blade, ready to fall at any moment. Of course seeing her friends had been great for her but it was nothing compared to being with Izaak, not to mention her overwhelming fear that he would be with Isabella and they would get together again. And to add onto her fear, she had to make sure that she didn't offend a Werewolf that had moved into her dorm room, apparently returning.
Alexis didn't wish to keep from contact from her lover for much longer and she had to ask him something as well. So when she was finally finished a class she skipped up to the Owlrey to write her lover a letter, wishing that she could be back in Australia with Izaak, Leah and the friends that she had made over the summer.
Not having the time to watch the owl depart, Alexis rushed off with her things to the library to get her homework finished.

Her letter was quite short, but it got across what she needed to say to her lover. She folded it and slid it into an envelope, addressing it to their home before giving it to the owl with a quick instruction, "Send it to Izaak Finch, please." She pet her owl softly before it left, as if it understood where it had to go.Hi sweetie.
How are you doing? As you should already know, I miss you and wish that school was over already. I have some interesting news, my friend here is engaged to James Potter (Yeah I know, Harry Potter's son how cool is that?) and she invited us to her wedding over the winter. I'm going but if you don't want to come, that's fine, it wont interrupt our time in Italy, I'm sure.
Other than that, there really has been nothing too interesting going on in my life, which I suppose is good. What about you?
Well I must get to my homework now.
I love you, sweetie. Can't wait to see you at the next Brightstone Weekend, well if you are free to see me.
Alexis.
