Closed Not a Natural Talent

Brynn had decided to learn how to make cookies from scratch. Not that it was going well. She was covered in flour, and the cookies she'd tried to make already gone badly- half burnt, and they'd just- just- melted. It was less a batch of cookies and more a cookie sheet. She chewed on her lip, trying to figure out what she'd done wrong. She gathered up the ingredients to try again, taking the time to clean up from her last attempt before she went at it again, reviewing it all in her mind to try and figure out where she'd messed things up.

It was one of Kanako's favourite spots - despite the house elves, who she still found somewhat annoying, and whom she doubted had decent baking abilities. She entered the kitchens and eyed someone already there. Her eyes widened at the mess on the cookie sheet, completely taken aback at the disaster on display. "What on earth did you do to make them end up like that? Are you even trying to follow a recipe?" Kanako asked in a disdainful tone, approaching the girl quickly, as though the crime that had occurred warranted a fast response.
