Teddy was very much enjoying his stress free week without any exams to do before the semester finished. This year he was free of actual exams until his OWLs at the end of the year. Of course, this meant he’d have double the workload at the end of the year, but that was a future Teddy problem. Present Teddy could enjoy the warm and sunny weather and actually exist without a textbook open in front of him for once. He decided to make the most of this opportunity by going outside and spending some time on his own. He walked down to the lake without a particular destination in mind apart from he wanted to find somewhere nice and quiet to relax and sunbathe.
He eventually found the ideal quiet spot near the water where he spread out a blanket, took off his top, and flopped down with one arm draped over his eyes to block out the sun. For a while he just lay there. The soft splashing of the lake and the gentle rustle of the trees in the breeze felt like a lullaby of sorts, and before long, he’d started dozing without even registering that he was dozing at all. It was nice and peaceful and he wondered why he didn't do stuff like this more often.
