Professor Pleiades walked up onto the North Tower's observatory. A flatstone hemisphere jutting out from the tower. There were a few telescopes lining the edge, but the Professor had other plans. He was holding a new, brass telescope under his arm, and a stray comet, Hale-Bopp to be precise, from his model in the classroom orbiting around him like a small, hyperactive planet. He set up the telescope and leaned down to look in it, when the comet buzzed him, he looked up, "Oh, be patient, you will get your own turn. I must see if my charms are functioning properly," he said, placating the miniature ball of ice and rock. He leaned back in and looked through the scope.

"Beautiful," he whispered, amazed.
