Aglila stood with her suitcase in one hand, her letter in the other and dressed in her finest Beauxbatons uniform. Her hair was down in a cascade of curls over her right shoulder and her curled blue hat was off to the left. She smiled brightly as she entered the gates to the park, excited to embark on a new journey at the newest of Hogwarts locations. She had read a lot about this school and from what her friends in France told her, it was a school that was known for cycling head-personas like crazy. However false that pretension may be or however true, Aglila knew one thing: she was here to start over, meet new people, and exceed in her last two years of school.
Her mind began to wander as her small pointed blue boots clicked on the stone walkway that lead across the grounds. It was a wonderful Summer day and she could think of nothing more than wanting to spend the day outside. Unfortunately, as soon as she got to the Deputy Headmaster's Office, she was to be sorted, shown her room, and unpack in her new dormitories. She sighed heavily, knowing that it was her own idea to come to this school, but upset that she couldn't have done so on a rainy day. But for now she had a little while to kill and what not a better way than to spend it at a park, enjoying the sunshine?
The grounds were full of life... here and there there was a bird singing, a tree with lush green leaves, students playing games or studying around the lawn and a cool breeze to keep you from sweating in the sun. And she was grateful for that, because her uniform sometimes got uncomfortably hot in any sunlight. She decided then that there was no harm in sitting outside for a while to enjoy the sun. She was certain that the Deputy Headmaster had more important things to do anyways... perhaps? She veered off the path and the moment her boots hit the grass she set her suit case down, shoved the letter in a pocket in her skirt and slipped out of her boots and socks. She smiled brightly as her bare feet touched the grass and she placed her socks in her boots and picked them up with left and and her suitcase in the right. She wanted to explore, and spending some time around the towns' park would be the perfect thing to do in such fine weather. And who knew? Maybe she would run into some students...
