OOC First Name
Seyoung Kim
The girl with expressionless eyes was looking around in confusion. She had no idea about where to go, as she had little idea of what Diagon Alley is like. Also, the girl didn't know where to go because her parents were unavailable due to their busy schedule today. To top it off, she's barely literate in English, as she had moved to England from South Korea a few months ago. The only English that she managed to pick up were some phrases that she learned from her schoolmates.

She wanted to ask for some help to get directions to this place called the Gringotts Wizarding Bank, but her communication levels in English were lower than average. Even though she had help from her English tutor often, it didn't help very much.

The only reason why she accepted this invitation to this Hogwarts was so that she can improve on her English skills. Her parents were rather doubtful on sending their daughter to a school that uses owls to deliver letters; this kind of delivery implies that the school didn't have enough funding and that the education that Hogwarts offered was rather poor.

However, the girl can remember how she had received her acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Oh, she saw her parents were angry beyond imagination about this 'scam' that their precious daughter, Seyoung, had been offered to an invitation to a school that they had never heard of.

Flashback

"Mom! I got a letter from an owl?" Seyoung said the word owl in confusion. Getting a letter from an owl was either that she had been delusional or that this is just a wild dream.

Seyoung then passed the letter to her mother, who was currently working on a new music player design for the electronics company, Samsung. Her mother looked at Seyoung as if she were insane.

"Seyoung!" The mother cried in frustration. "Are you delusional? There is no possible way for an owl to deliver a letter! An owl, Seyoung! Use common sense! An owl doesn't have that kind of intelligence to be able to send a letter, especially to us. How would an owl know how we look like if it didn't even see us once? You even researched this for that animal project of yours!" The currently stressed woman tears the envelop and started reading the letter. In a few seconds, she had paled to a white shade.

"Mom? Are you alright?" Seyoung asked in worry for her mother. When her mother was scared, everything turned for the worst.

"Honey! Get yourself down here this instant!" Seyoung's mother, Youngsook, screams in terror. The man, Haru had immediately started climbing down the stairs quickly, as he knew that if Youngsook was scared, then the world would freeze over.

"Youngsook, what is it?" Haru said lovingly to his wife after he had ran to her.

"Read this." Youngsook commands. She had no idea about what to say about this offer. She hands the letter the letter to Haru.

The man skims through the letter. His hands were shaking and the letter had fallen to the ground in a few seconds. Seyoung immediately picks up the letter and started to skim through it.

[letter] and at the bottom of the second page:

P.S: We have been informed that Miss Kim is currently unable to speak English with proficiency, even though her pronunciation of English is quite admirable for a Korean immigrant. We will provide her with the finest English education and introduce her to others who will support her, regardless of this language barrier.

"Mom? What is this?" Seyoung asks her mom. "Dad?" She asked

All had turned into a very chaotic day. The Deputy Headmistress had to visit them to inform them about the education Hogwarts currently offers. With some strange luck, Seyoung's parents had accepted the offer of Seyoung being in a school for witchcraft and wizardry in hopes of their anti-social daughter making new friends in England.

End

Seyoung groans mentally for the memory she had of that incident. She hates the fact that her parents push her to be social. It's not that she's really anti-social, it is just that the many others were cruel and uncaring. Seyoung had only talked with others that give her the same respect that she would give them; she will keep it that way and her parents be darned if they won't allow her to do as she wishes. The only positive thing coming from Hogwarts is that she would be without her oppressing and controlling parents. She knows that they care for her, but they're really controlling her to the point where Seyoung will be unable to be who is truly is.

The girl had looked to the many buildings in this Diagon Alley. She looks to the others that are trying to buy their needed supplies for the school year. Seyoung considered about following the other people for a second, but she thought it was rather rude. After all, it would seem as if she would be stalking another person, and no one likes to be stalked.
