Don't have one.
The sky was a dark blue, and filled with thick clouds. Bryn roamed a street filled with houses. Her clothes were not helping keep her warm at all. She remembered all the times her and her mother went shopping. All they bought were dresses, sneakers, and jackets. Her mother was gone now. She had to provide for herself. Stealing from stores and breaking into houses were now her specialty. She had been this way for 5 years. She had gotten unhealthily skinny, and she did not was her clothes very often. She was glad her parents were not alive when she found out she was a Squib. Her dreams of being an Auror had been crushed to the pulp. Her heart forever now ached.
Bryn had been studying this one family's house. A father, mother, maid, and a girl. The girl looked younger than Bryn, but not by too much. She would hide in the bushes in front of their neighbors house and study their schedule. The father would rush out of the house, and drive off in his car at 7:30 A.M. At 9:30 A.M, the mother would come out and water the plants. At 1:30 in the afternoon the maid, in a maid's dress, would come out and set up a blanket. Then the mother and her daughter would come out and have a picnic. The father got home at 10:00 P.M, and all the light were out by 10:30 P.M. Bryn was ready to strike. She had gathered all the materials she believed she needed for her break in. She had broken into someone's house before while the owners were still there. It was all about stealth and swiftness. She would be able to unlock the door with one of her bobby pins, and quickly get in and get out.
She walked up to the house like it was her own. Her stomach churned like it always did when she was nervous. She took the bobby pin holding her bangs out her face out. She stuck it in the hole and moved it around until she heard a click. "Bingo." she smiled to herself. She opened the door and entered the living room. She quietly closed the door and walked around. After a few minutes her eyes adjusted to the room's dim lighting. She hit her toe on the leg of the chair that was closest to the stairs. Her face scrunched up and she emitted in a small voice, "Ow." She kept walking until she found the kitchen. Bryn was astonished at it's beauty. It was her first time stealing from a kitchen with so many useful things. She shook her head. Food was her priority. Not whisks or super luxurious blenders. She headed to the fridge and opened it up. It was filled with traditional Chinese dishes, fruits, and veggies. Bryn was half Korean. She knew quite a few Chinese dishes from her father. He had been from New Zealand. Bryn grabbed the milk and opened it up. "Angie? What are you doing up?" Bryn dropped the milk and turned to stare in the sleepy eyes of the maid.
