Andrea was psyched to be back in Hogwarts again. It was her second day as a second year and things seem totally great. She had consumed enough pumpkin pie for lunch and has consumed the right amount of pumpkin juice as well. She has seen some of her friends the earlier day and had a little conversation with them since there was a lot to do with sorting and the unpacking and stuff like that. Andrea just finished packing her things the night before so she was already settled. The sorting the other day was overwhelming and quite odd since it was really weird for Andrea to be the one sitting on the Gryffindor table while watching the unsorted students walk in the Great Hall and be sorted. It seemed like a day has only passed when the hat put Andrea in Gryffindor. "Oh, how time flies", Andrea told herself when the thought came to her. Andrea was excited to start her second official day in Hogwarts. Being a sophomore sure feels good as Andrea would say it. She just went out the castle for a morning walk in the garden and proceeded to the Lakefront to observe the beautiful lake. Andrea has been in Hogwarts for almost a year now and she hasn't seen a mermaid or any magical sea creature yet.

It was July and the breeze was extremely cold due to the fact that it was Winter or in other words; the season that Andrea strongly disliked. Andrea was wearing a thick sweater over her t-shirt and a bonnet she bought over the vacation. Andrea was really excited to meet the new firsties and the transferees. When Andrea's eyes reached the lake, she winced. She put her palm onto her forehead and winced once more. Even though the snow just stopped, the lake was completely frozen. Andrea let out a swear word and blamed herself for being so stupid for not realizing. She sat on the snowy ground near the lake and stared at the frozen lake. Andrea would not even know how long she stared at the frozen lake if no familiar voice cried out her name and startled her.

Damien was delighted to be back at Hogwarts again.Even though he had had he best summer holidays in his life he had still missed the place he now called home.Summer with his parents had been amazing and he couldn't wait till Christmas. He had gone to places he had never gone to before life.He had gotten to go to the other side of America. He had been to places like San Francisco and LA.He had visited all the tourist sites,he had gone to all the beaches and he had made new friends. It had been his best holiday ever and he had enjoyed spending time with his parents.Sometimes he woke up at night, sweating because he had nightmares that they were gone again, but he would just have to look around to know that that had all been a bad nightmare.

It was his second day back at the school. It was weird not being the youngest and newest in the school. It had been cool watching the sorting and seeing all the new first year.He had welcomed all the new Gryffindors and he had made them feel welcome. The feast had been amazing and he was still full from it.This year unpacking had taken longer then last year because his mother had practically filled his suitcase to the brim with new clothes. He had told her he wouldn't wear half of them but she wanted him to have the best and make up for all the years she was gone.Damien didn't mind really. He had decided this morning that he would take a walk along the lake.Even though it was hot and warm in America it was freezing here in New Zealand. He had a warm jacket on and he had his guitar as usual strapped behind his back.He now had dozens of manuscripts covered in songs at home.He had brought around ten of them.

He walked out of the castle and shivered.New Zealand really had cold winters. As he walked down he noticed that the lake was frozen.he wondered were people allowed walk on it or skate on it.When he was almost at the lake he spotted a familiar figure, sitting down. There was snow on the ground and he wondered how Andrea could sit on it. "Hey Andrea"He called out as he got closer. He smiled when he was beside her "How have you been?"He asked

Andrea's summer break was almost perfect. She has learned and explored a lot of things. One of the most memorable things was Andrea's dad's work promotion. Andrea's dad was once just a normal baker but he had been promoted into a facilitator due to his cleanliness whatsoever. Andrea's aunt also spent the summer over the Kelize's house for she had just had her previous divorce and she nowhere to live. The Kelize's were kind enough to take her in due to their house being small and enough for Andrea's parents and siblings and her. Her aunt though had been gracious of their doing and contributed to their daily needs. Andrea learned a lot of music from her too which made Andrea's summer extra special. Her aunt, Caroline, seemed to know a lot about music. In fact, she's a pianist and knows a lot of songs. Andrea begged her to teach her how to play piano which she'd considered doing when Andrea threatened her that she won't bake her more pumpkin pie. Baking is another thing Andrea learned over the summer. Her dad taught her how to. Unfortunately, Andrea only learned one song but now she can determine that she's getting better on it. Andrea hadn't had a chance to know what that instrument Damien always keeps on his back but as far as Andrea's knowledge by which Caroline told her; the instrument is called guitar. Caroline doesn't know how to play guitar unfortunately so the two just stick with piano.

The lake had gone completely frozen and was now looking boring. It was nothing but a huge amount of ice that circled amongst the ground. Andrea put her hand on the lake to touch it. Damn, it was really cold. Andrea wiped the cold ice in hopes to find something swimming underneath. Unfortunately, nothing came out. Not even a silhouette. Andrea's face brightened when she heard the familiar voice called out her name. She turned around to see Damien facing her. "Hey D!" She cried cheerfully. "I've been fine. You?" She casually replied.

He hoped his guitar would be okay out in the cold.It would probably just take a little while longer to tune. One thing he loved about the guitar was that it was so easy to tune. You just had to turn the peg a bit to the left or right and it was in tune. Some instruments like the violin took a bit longer because the pegs were stiffer. He had once spent the whole day in a music shop just trying out all the musical instruments.Luckily the owner was friends with his aunt so he hadn't minded.Damien could spent a whole week in a music shop and not get bored. He just loved anything to do with music. It was one of the only things he liked.Quidditch was one too and after some decided he had chosen not to try-out this year but next year.He wondered had anyone in his year gone for try-outs.He had actually bought a proper broom when he and his mam went to a place in England called Diagon Ally. They had also come to New Zealand two weeks before he was due back in school, just to get everything for school and to make a little holiday out of it.

Damien could see his own breath as he breathed in and out.It really was a day was sticking inside by the fire in the Gryffindor common room but he liked to get the odd bit of fresh air.Damien smiled when he saw Andi,he hadn't seen her since the last day of school and he had missed her.He wondered had she explored her musical abilities over the break. He hoped she had because she had a talent, she was just too stubborn to realize. "Good, how was the holidays?"He asked sitting beside her.

A guitar is this unique musical instrument that is always strapped on Damien's back. As far as Andrea can recall, she has not seen Damien without a guitar on his back except on classes. He is literally devoted to the instrument. Andrea hadn't exactly figured what it does though, but she is willing to learn. Damien hasn't gotten around into letting Andrea sing so the feather of hope that Damien won't remember continues to cling through Andrea's pale skin. Andrea isn't ready for any singing scenario yet since she thinks she can't do it. Though, she can tell Damien about her piano experience. Andrea has learned to play various of songs through the instrument though she can only sing one song. Andrea heard Damien sang before and he was truly amazing. His voice is this angelic soft voice and is very clear. Andrea's, however, in her opinion anyway, is too pitchy. She was afraid that when she sings, Damien might not like her voice and suggests that she shouldn't sing anymore.

Andrea watched as tiny puffs of air come out of Damien's mouth as he speak. Winter is really a dumb weather. The fresh air wasn't to be called fresh because of the annoyance it caused to the people. Damien didn't look like he was annoyed though. "My holidays were great. My aunt is currently living in our house because she just had a previous divorce and she has nowhere to live and she happens to know a lot in a musical instrument called piano" Andrea said proudly. "Do you know what that is?" She asked eagerly.

Damien rubbed his hands together. He had gloves on but he had cut off the fingers so he could play the guitar even when he was outside. They had helped when he was busking on the streets during the cold New York winters. He had made a good amount of money while busking but that had been in the long run though in the short term it had seemed like nothing but over time he had made a decent amount of money. He had also sung so a scarf had been essential. The money had mostly helped with food and other essentials. He had quite enjoyed doing it except for when it snowed then it was just freezing and his finger tips would have been red and raw with the cold.Singing had been difficult during winter also because it is always harder to sing when you had a cold.

As Andrea spoke puffs of air came out.The winter in New Zealand was exactly like it was at home. His butt was frozen from sitting on the ground. He didn't mind winter though,it could be quite a beautiful season. The snow on the trees and the plants. "Oh the piano"Damien said interested "Yeah I know it I play it,did she teach you?"He asked curious. He was still amazed that she had never heard of music before him explaining it to her.He had thought that everyone had heard of music but he had been wrong.

The Sophomore girl eyed her fellow Sophomore's gloves. They were truly impressive. "Nice gloves" She complimented. Andrea smiled cheerfully as she observed the gloves. They're obviously expensive, she thought. It was a nice protection to hands. Andrea's betting Damien only cut the ends. Andi didn't really know the reason why but she's guessing it had something to do with playing the guitar or whatever. Damien will obviously get a job in the music industry, Andrea thought. She played and played that time when the two met. Damien had sang a song to her. It was upbeat and his voice suited the song just fine. Andrea also remembered that Damien told her that next time they'll meet, he'll let her sing. When the thought struck Andrea, she immediately sat straight. The last time they had this singing conversation was at the Towers but unfortunately for Damien, Andrea needed to do something so he failed to let her sing. Andrea didn't know if Damien would open up the topic now but she'll be ready whenever Damien will command.

It was awfully cold out. Tiny puffs of air comes out whenever someone talked. It is clearly a stupid weather as Andrea might comment. Damien looked like he didn't mind all this stupid things. In fact, he seemed to be enjoying himself. Andrea eyed him suspiciously but didn't said a thing for she knew what the topic would turn out. Andrea beamed when Damien said he plays it also. "Great!" She replied. "Yes. She taught me the basics and a few songs" Andrea added proudly.

Damien looked down at his gloves, they hadn't been expensive,he had just bought them for a dollar in a shop near his home. They had proven to be one of the most useful items he had ever bought. They had kept his hands from freezing a lot of the time. The only problem was that his fingers would be freezing but after a while or either strumming of twanging a guitar they warmed up a bit. "Thanks"he said smiling smiling.Right now his fingers were frozen and he blew into them to warm them up again. It was a annoying that the winters had to be so cold,in New York it was the same.Boston wasn't as bad but he hadn't spent enough time there to be absolutely sure of what their weather was like.He began to twang the strings of his guitar and as he did so he remembered the promise he had made to himself. Damien turned right towards and raised an eyebrow "You know I've just remembered the promise I made to myself the first day we met"He said grinning,he was going to enjoy this.He had totally forgot about what he said to Andi the first day the had met.

It wasn't exactly the best time to be singing.Cold air is never good for the vocal chords. But it had been at least a year since e had told himself that he was going to get her to sing again. It was great that she was learning the piano. She had a lovely voice though she wouldn't believe him if he told her.Damien looked at her innocently when she eyed him suspiciously. "That's great, you should play them for me some time"He said smiling.

A smirk came through Andrea's face muscles when a cold breeze came through her. It made her shiver at first but it slowly exchanged with a smirk. She let out a swear word of course but only in her mind. It was kinda rude to be letting out swear words especially if you're around someone younger. The swear word of course was meant for the weather and for herself. She cursed herself for picking the thinnest sweater out of all those one that were knitted by her mother. "You're welcome" Andrea replied with a polite smile. Damien's gloved hands look absolutely cool. More of a bicycler's style of fashion. Andrea's face dropped with suspicion, nervousness and curiousness when Damien let out his comment. Damien was grinning like he was going to enjoy the next few moments. And when that hit Andi's thoughts, she knew it was going to be torture once more. "What promise?" She asked suspiciously with the same amount of nervousness. She already know what Damien was talking about of course but she just asked anyway. She was too nervous to think of any reasonable answer.

The singing thing started to bother Andrea. It was even more bothering than the stupid weather in her opinion. She nervously tugged her sweater as she looked at Damien with a frown on her face. She didn't said anything though. The piano thing somehow lifted Andrea up. It was another hobby of hers now. She isn't as good as some of course since she's still a beginner but she's proud to say she's learning. "Sure" Andrea said. She tried to act all cheerful about it but the singing thing just kept on boring into her nerves.

Damien hated the cold weather. There had never been any heating in his old house so winter meant lots and lots of blankets and a fire twenty-four seven.During winter Damien didn't care about the ozon layer. That was nice and warm up in the atmosphere while he was freezing down here on earth.Of course money had to made somewhere to buy fuel for the fire and busking had been his way of earning it.He was surprised that he hadn't got really sick from sitting in the cold all day singing and playing he guitar. He hated the way some people have him money out of pity.He didn't need pity, that didn't make him feel any better about himself. He wanted people to give him money because they liked his music and thought he was a good musician. If someone came up and gave him money with a smile and maybe complimented his singing or playing then he would have a whole load more respect for them instead of someone who came up and gave him a sympathetic smile. Those sort of smiles made anger burn inside him. After a while he had just ignored it and gave a polite smile to anyone who gave him that look.

Damien noticed the change in expression and body language. She looked very nervous and he felt a small bit bad for bringing it up but he had to do t or else she was never going to sing and he knew this was the only way he was going to succeed. She didn't realize her potential and Damien was going to have to drag it out of her.Damien raised his eyebrows "Singing maybe"He said innocently.Today was the day he was gonna get her to sing and attempt to convince her that she could sing and that she had a nice voice. "Now I know you are nervous but there isn't any reason to"He said smiling. He put her guitar and his ,lap and he made sure the tuning was right. He then began to play parts of songs with out really noticing "Now any song in paticular that you know and like?"He asked strumming the strings.

Curiousness filled Andrea now. Damien started to look pissed. Andrea's eyebrows narrowed in curiousness. She didn't know if it was because of what Andrea acted over the singing thing or simply because of the weather. The weather maybe since it's' annoying but who really know what Damien's opinion might be? Andrea shrugged the thought. She knew sooner or later she’s going to start singing and in her opinion of what it might turn out, Damien's going to cut her and tell her she has a bad voice and walk away without another word. One fourth of her doesn't believe in her theory though. She doesn't know why. She just has this feeling that things will turn out fine in the end. Andrea blew small strands of blonde hair out of her small eyes. Even though her hair was much smaller now, Andrea still got those times was strands of hair appear on her eyes for no good reason.

Nervousness started contaminating Andrea's air now. This was so unlike her. If Andrea's on her right mind she'll probably just roll her eyes, grab Damien's guitar and sing. But now, it seems like she ran out of confidence. Andrea ran her fingers through her hair. It seemed like she can't do it. It took for about a minute for Andrea to reply to Damien's answer. She kept on telling herself not to be nervous and that everything would work out fine. This was the first time Andrea actually felt scared over something. Damien was very nice with his answers though. Andrea was sure he was trying not to push her. Andrea decided to take this as a helpful keepsake. Of course, she didn't want to leave Damien hanging so she just nodded as a sign of reply for both of Damien's sentences. Andrea looked at her friend straight in the eye. Apparently, she knew only one song and that was taught to her by her aunt. "Well, I only know one song" Andrea said sheepishly. "It was the song taught to me by my aunt. You know, to play in the piano" She went on with the same sheepish voice. "I'm not sure if you know this song but it's the only one I've got." She added. "It's True Colors by Cyndi Lauper though the one taught by my aunt is a cover by MYMP" She added. "Now, do you know that song?" She asked her nervousness slightly drifted off by Damien's accommodation.

Damien noticed the narrowing of her eyes,he probably look annoyed. He bet she would be p!ssed if she had experienced the same thing as him. Some people just didn't get how insulting it is to people when you are sympathetic to them. They might have the best interests at heart but it just makes people like him feel worse. It's horrible when somebody gives you that look.He doesn't bed their pity,he was doing fine with out it and he would have continued to do so if his parents hadn't come. Some people had it so easy and they didn't even realize it and they just took it for granted with out thinking about people would die to have something they have everyday. He just wished they realized how happy they could be if they just stopped whining about how they want this and that. You didn't have to have everything to be happy, all you need was a home, friends, family and a hobby you enjoy.Food ,water and clothes would be helpfully too but if you had the others you probably had they last three. He was now perfectly content because he had everything he needed in life.Damien knew the song well,it was a very nice song and perfect for Andi. "That's a perfect song,I know it well,do you want me to play for you?"He asked smiling trying to make her fell comfortable.

I'm sorry,I'm being ushered off this as I type

Andrea stopped narrowing her eyebrows when Damien changed his expression. Apparently, he noticed Andrea's confusion. Andrea shrugged and looked away, boring her eyes into the frozen lake. She half-expected it to burst. She didn't know why. She just feels funny. This always happens to Andrea whenever she isn't sure about something. As she was looking into the lake, something move unexpectedly down there. Andrea perked up. She looked at Damien and searched his face if he'd saw something swimming underneath there but nothing seems to color his face except his eagerness for Andrea to sing. Andrea kept quiet about it until Damien spoke. "Sure" Andrea replied when Damien offered to play for Andrea. Andrea took a deep breath as Damien started playing. Damien is a pretty good guitar player. That gave Andrea some confidence. When Damien gestured for Andrea to sing, she gulped and started singing the song her aunt taught her. At first, she was nervous she didn't looked at Damien's eyes but then when Damien hadn't cut her through, she smiled and looked at Damien in the eyes as he played. And she discovered that singing was fun and her whole point of view changed.

Me too. My muse seems to be low today

Damien felt kinda bad for making her do this but he knew she could sing and the only way for her to realize was singing it in front of people and see their reactions. It was a good way improve your singing as well because sometimes you can get constructive critisism.I can help you become an even better singer.A muggle thing called YouTube was really good for that sort of thing. If he had had the equipment he would have posted himself to get some tips from some people.Damien was seriously considering music in his future.Sure he loved magic but he didn't think it would suit him as an occupation. It would be very useful and he couldn't wait for when he could use magic outside school. He hoped he would pass his apparation exam too, that would mean no aeroplane journeys anymore.Damien loved flying but only on a broom,he didn't like the idea of flying in a very very heavy metal machine. He preferred feeling the wind rush through his hair then being stuck and thousands of feet off the ground.Damien smiled when she began singing. She sang the song lonely and his grin widened when she finally looked up and he knew he had gotten through to her "See,wasn't so bad"He said after she had finished "You have a great voice and don't be afraid to show it"He said grinning. "Want to learn another one?"He asked

It took Andrea a few minutes to realize that she was acting completely ludicrous. She realized that she doesn't need to be nervous. All she needs to do is gather all the guts she has and sing and accept whatever criticism Damien might give her. It's no big deal really. The only problem is that Andrea doesn't know what kind of criticism Damien will give her. She doesn't know whether Damien will give her the comment she wants or the comment she despises. It was her first time singing in front of a random friend and the idea just makes her quiver. She's not sure if her singing abilities are good enough for people to agree so the confidence she normally has left her. The only person who has heard her voice so far was her Aunt and her brother Percy. Both had different comments. Her aunt told her that her voice was unique and clear while the latter's comment was the exact opposite. But the feeling changed entirely the minute Andi realized the situation. Singing isn't as different as basketball. Andi was comfortable doing both which was ridiculous, really since she only discovered singing last year. Andrea knew that she has discovered another talent when a grin appeared on Damien's face. It was like directing a message to a close friend. When Andi finished the song, she felt great. But, she still had a criticism to face. Andi's smile loosened as she waited for Damien's criticism. When Damien finished, a huge grin appeared on Andrea's face and she was suddenly beaming. "Thanks" She said, still beaming. "Sure, if you sing me a song first" Andrea said cheerfully.

Damien had always been confident about his voice. He guessed this was due to the fact that at an early age he had been given praise for it.It's not every day you see a six year old singing on the streets of New York. When he looked back at it,they probably said those things because they felt sorry for him but as he got older he knew that it was genuine praise and that a lot of people gave him money because they like his voice.Plus he had his aunt telling him he was good and it had just built his confidence. He wasn't arrogant about it.He didn't show of or shove it in anyone's faces. He just knew he was good so he had the confidence to sing in public. What helped was the fact he loved singing anyways. It is always easier to do something when you like it.It makes you work harder and strive for better. "No bothers"He said smiling, glad that she seemed much more confident of her singing abilities. It was great to see her practically beaming. He had never been much of a beamer himself but he was becoming much happier lately. He used to be all down in the dumps and singing depressing songs but ever since he had moved back with his parents. He was happier in life.He enjoyed it more,he especially loved magic more.It was great and he was glad he had had a change of heart. "Okay so how about I can't fight this feeling anymore?"He suggested. He liked most songs and this one was easy to sing. When she nodded he began to sing.Once he was finished he grinned "So any ideas on what song you'd like to learn?"He asked

Sorry I would get the link but I'm in a tad bit of a rush!

Andi was happy on her new-found talent. She was glad that she was already excelling on something she didn't even knew existed until a friend enlightened her. Sports is always something Andrea focused at. It's her first love. Her father taught her at a very young age along with her younger brother, Percy. Whenever she plays the game, she always feel l better. Such a short person, she is. But no one that knows her well, underestimates her basketball skills and abilities. She can jump as high as a kangaroo. She may have problems on dunking the balls but she's working on it. She's a true sports lover. She even plays chess. She's not as good as she is in basketball but she's fine. Andrea continued beaming as Damien said his reply. Singing might not be her first love but it sure is going to be a love of hers. A grin occupied her face when Damien joined her. He laughed the first time he saw her beam which was hilarious really. "Sure. That would be nice" Andrea agreed as she waited peacefully for Damien to start singing. And when he started, it was heaven once again. Andrea heard Damien sing before and he was very very good. When Damien finished the song Andrea clapped very hard. "Your voice is always awesome" She complimented her friend with a sincere smile on her young face. "I have none. It's up to you, really." Andrea replied with a happy smile.

No need to post a link. I know the song ;)

Damien always loved people discovering their voices. It was a great thing to witness because singing was a beautiful thing and it made a lot of people around the world a lot happier.Music brought people together and it comforted people when they were sad or it suited people's mood.It was probably one of the best things in the world and everywhere would be dead with out music. In films music was amazing. It set the mood and made the film. You usually knew if something good or bad was happening because of the music.Film and ilistrative music were Damien's favorite. They were very catchy and very easy to remember.Damien liked all types of music, there was no limit to the types of music he liked. He could play any sort of music. His sight reading was very good as he had practiced it a load.He could play a tune straight away if you gave it too him on the guitar though that wasn't that hardest instrument to do sight-reading on.He was quite a good pianist also.He liked playing more popular songs on the piano. He wasn't that fond of playing classical, romantic or anything from before the twentieth century.Damien grinned and then smiled bashfully when she complimented and clapped for him.Just because he was confident of his singing abilities didn't mean he still found it hard to accept a compliment. It was just who he was and as usual he would be modest. "thanks"he said smiling.Damien thought about what song he could teach her.As he thought using one side of his brain the other side began playing the tunes the other side of his brain was thinking of.It was something he did often. He was trying to think of a duet as that would be nicer and easier to sing "Am how about Smile?"He suggested. "It goes like this"He said playing the main tune of his guitar. "It's pretty easy to sing,I'll play it for you once and then we can go through it slowly"he said smiling. He then began to sing.

Even though Andrea can actually sing now, her knowledge on Music is still small. She wants to explore more and Damien here is the perfect person to teach her. Basketball will always be Andrea's favorite hobby but she decided to focus on music while she's still in Hogwarts because it would be ridiculous if she played basketball in the school. Andrea heard that the Yule Ball will be starting in a few weeks. She went to the Yule Ball last year along with her friend, Angie Vanderbilt. She felt ridiculous really. She's doesn't dance and at that time, she doesn't sing also. All she did on the ball was watch Angie dance while he munched her favorite food of all time: pumpkin pie. It wasn't as boring though. The people dancing and the Glee club were very entertaining. Andrea saw Damien sing at the stage and he was great. Other Glee club members played the instrument called guitar too. Andrea made a thought about it. This guitar instrument is very fascinating. A thought formed into her brain that she wanted Damien to teach her. "Can you teach me how to play guitar?" She asked as she eyed Damien's guitar eagerly. Andrea shrugged when Damien thanked her. His voice is really magnificent and he shouldn't underestimate it. "Smile? Uh, okay then" Andrea replied while she listened as Damien strummed the guitar as he made a tune. "Okay" Andrea agreed and listened carefully as Damien sang.

Damien had been very surprised when he entered Hogwarts to discover not a lot of people knew about music.Damien had grown up thinking everyone would of had the same knowledge of music as himself.Needless to say he had bee very shocked to find out some people didn't even know what music was.Damien had never really been into sport. He had played basketball from time to time and that was only because there had been a court near where he lived. He was quite good at the sport though he hadn't played it in a while. He knew Andrea liked the sport.Damien's helped him with the game in regards to scoring.Being small could help in regards to stealing the ball.Damien didn't play any other sports,he just wasn't a sporty person. He had begun likinq quidditch. He liked flying it was fun.The game was very fun and his favorite position so far was beater. He enjoyed hitting the bludger. "I'd love too"He said smiling,he gave his guitar over to her and made sure she was holding it right. "Okay your turn"he said smiling,he began singing

Time was going by, so much faster than Andrea thought it would. The sky was still plain white though. No sun will come out until this stupid weather takes a vacation. Andrea breathed a slow sigh as she observed the tiny white puffs coming out of her mouth. The weather was turning colder than she had expected, turning the tips of her ears, red. Andrea poked her ears. They were as cool as ever that they felt numb. Andrea took a glance over Damien's. They were the same color as Angie's lip thing. Angie poked her ears again. She cannot see their color but she was sure that they're the same as Damien's. Andrea leaned over and touched Damien's right ear. "They're numb, aren't they?" She asked. Damien was turning pale and Andrea guessed she had been to. The wind is as cold as ever. Andrea shivered as it passed by her. The two cubs needed to get inside the castle before they frost to death outside. Damien's guitar stood silently on his hands as he clung to it. "Great!" Andrea exclaimed when Damien said he'd love to teach Andrea the instrument. Damien gave Andrea the guitar. Andrea held the instrument tightly on her hands as if she was holding a fragile thing. She knew that the instrument was an important thing to her friend so it was better if she took care of it. "Wait. I don't know the words." Andrea said sheepishly.

Damien wished the weather would go away.He didn't mind the cold weather but he wasn't particularly fond of freezing his butt and fingers off.Every part of him except his torso was numb. His extremities were probably tinted his red,he wouldn't be surprised if his lips hadn't turned purple. He wondered why Andrea had come out and sat here in the first place. It's not like she didn't know it was cold.Damien didn't really know why he came out either. What he loved about Hogwarts was where it was situated. He had lived in a city all his life,he had never gotten to see the real stars. He had never spent a night with out hearing cars or the sounds of he city. When Damien went to bed in Hogwarts all her heard was the quiet snores of his room mate.At the beginning he had found it almost hard to sleep because he was in such unfamiliar surroundings but once he had got used to it he had preferred the quietness. The stars was something he missed every time he went home.He was almost sure the constellations were different in the North but never the less he had never seen those constellations but if the ones in he south were anything to go by they would be amazing and beautiful too. Damien turned and grinned "Yeah, everywhere is numb really"He said putting his closed hand around his cold ear.He could barely feel the touch as his fingers had nearly lost all their feeling. The guitar was going to be harder to play now that he couldn't feel his fingers. "Sorry sorry,I forgot"He said cursing his stupidity "Okay so I say the first one or two lines and you repeat it a few times?"He suggested

Andrea held the instrument uncomfortably as she tried to pick those little thin strings attached to it. It was quiet hard for Andi's fingers were feeling numb. She held it tightly as she looked at Damien, her eyes were dazed. She was confused on how Damien managed to play the instrument with such strong and stupid weather. "How do I play this thing?" She asked confused as she searched Damien. Playing the guitar was a lot harder than Andi thought. She winced at the thought. She doesn't like it when she goes to hell first before succeeding at something. She sighed and started playing with the guitar's strings. Damien's ears felt cold like Andrea's. Andi relaxed a little when she found out she's not the only one who was feeling the numbness. "Really? Mine's not everywhere. Some of them are numb. Like my ears, and lips and other stuff." Andrea explained as she played with the guitar's strings again. Andrea looked up at Damien, her face full with curiosity. She did not know the words nor how to sing it. And the worst of all, she did not know how to play the guitar. "Okay" Andrea agreed and waited for Damien to sing.

Sorry for the length

Damien grinned as he saw Andrea attempt to get comfortable with the instrument. It did take a little bit to get used to.You had to find the right position which would be different for everyone. Her fingers must have been frozen which wouldn't help plucking the strings "Do you want to wear my gloves?"He asked,it would be easier to play with them as they weren't fully covered and therefore you fingers could move more freely and the using them by plucking the strings would hopefully warm them up. Damien smiled sympathetically at his friend. She didn't liked not being able to do something. "Well I'll teach you the chord of A first"He said, sitting up and kneeling. He moved closer so he was kneeling in front of her.He got her three middle fingers and put each other on the second, third and fourth string in the second triad. "Now strum"He said, making the hand gesture.the hardest thing about playing the guitar was changing from chord to chord. You really had to know where your fingers went before you could play properly. "Yeah,it's mostly my ears and nose"He said covering his ears with his hands for a few moments to try and warm them up.It didn't do much but he was definitely wearing a hat next time he ventured outside. "You know, how about we get you mastering the guitar before we sing?"He suggested
