After months of deliberations from the county court of Wake County, North Carolina and the Magistrate of Belfast, Northern Ireland. There was a time and date for the Fields and Maxwell to appear in court. Jessica did promise Ainslee that she will fight back with legal proceedings attached to it. With her was her parents and older cousin while her sister was nowhere to be found, she did took her down with her with no support at all. As the judge steps in the courtroom, the county clerk spoke, "Ms. Jessica Fields and Mr. Devlin Maxwell, please, come right up ..." She trailed off and once their names were called. Jessica took a deep breath and entered the bench. "I just wanted to thank you, Mr. Maxwell for taking the opportunity to travel from United Kingdom to North Carolina for this trial." The Judge acknowledge the defendant. The Auror didn't looked at Devlin, it was already a hassle to send a subpoena or rather a letter of request to appear in court that went through so many Magistrates before it landed in Belfast. "The plaintiff would start the opening statement." The Judge nodded at Jessica.
The nervous Witch stood up from her chair and calmly started. "My name is Jessica Fields. Mr. Devlin Maxwell is my brother-in-law and the child in question is Teagan Maxwell born on the twenty-third of August twenty twenty-nine." She cleared her throat before proceeding to her demands. The Auror had never dealt with muggle law before until this opportunity came and with the help of her cousin. They are now on phase two of their battle for her child. They had determine that Devlin wasn't the father via DNA and now for the full custody of Teagan. "Your honor, as much as I wanted to be nice and share my only daughter to the people she knew for fourteen years. It is unfair for me and the child. I would like to spend the rest of my life with my child and it would be hectic as well for her to travel far for holidays and stuff. Although, I will settle with Mr. Maxwell visiting her twice a month." Jessica did looked at Devlin at that time. She wasn't showing any remorse at all. The tables had turned and now, they're in the ground and she's up.

A quick list why Teagan's last name and custody will be change:
