It was cold and yet a few of the birds continued to fly around as Luthor walked along the street with Sigourney on his shoulders. "Do you see one yet?" Sigourney asked in her hissing metal tone staring with bright green eyes at the small animals. "No" Luthor simply responded as he kept an ever vigilant eye for something that would please his teacher, pet, and overall caretaker. A small animal scampered across the street, Sigourney was the first to see it as her head immediately turned over towards it. "No" Luthor simply said as he walked along the street towards a bench, there he saw a small sparrow bathing on one of the roofs. His eyes continued to stare at the small bird as he knew Sigourney's were as well, "That one" Luthor said simply as he watched the bird flutter towards the ground. Sigourney was already off his shoulders moving silently and stealthily along the ground, Luthor stood up and began walking away towards an alley.

Within moments he heard the struggling tweets of a bird along with the metallic slither of Sigourney as she approached him. "Thank you" Luthor said with a smile as he took the injured bird from Sigourney's mouth. Holding it tightly in his hand Luthor looked at it, turning it over so that he could examine every little detail. "It's weak" Luthor said with a slight smirk that was also as cold and unyielding as his eyes, Luthor tightened his grip as the small bird struggled to break free twittering in both agony and from what Luthor could tell mercy. "Kill it" Sigourney hissed as she began looking around for anyone else in the area, Luthor squeezed his hand tighter as he looked at the metal snake. "I want it to suffer" Luthor said simply as he looked at the pathetic creature in his hand, all weak things deserved to die. Sigourney merely glared at Luthor saying many things that didn't have to be said at all as Luthor threw the bird to the ground angrily, he hated not getting what he wanted. The bird was stunned and didn't have time to move before Luthor's foot crushed it in one swift and merciless move. "Let's find another one" Luthor said coldly as he looked at the small amount of blood that had been left, such a pathetic creature.

Epiphany had a large lolly pop with her as she walked around the Harbor. She had been let to wonder around the Leaky Cauldron but not any farther. This didn't mean that Epiphany would listen. Either way she had Leo with her so she was sure that she was going to be fine. There was nothing that the blue half lion/half zebra couldn't take down. Or it was so in Epiphany's mind. It was on this wondering that she came across a boy with what looked like a silver snake across her shoulders. They found bird and walked into an ally.

Epiphany, always the curios one, followed. Her eyes grew wide when she saw what they where doing. She hugged her ever faithful Ms. Butterbee to her chest while breathing hard. She didn't want to scream because something inside her told her that it would be worse if she did, as if some repressed memory had awakened inside her. She watched as he crushed the poor bird in his hand then toss it on the ground. She hoped that the boy and his horrid snake would go away so she could help the poor thing. The boy stomped on the bird and it was over. "He didn't do nothing to you!" She said finally with wide glassy eyes. Her sister was the one that could see things that others couldn't but she didn't need to do to see that this was a bad boy.

Luthor turned as he heard the girl speak Sigourney was already staring coldly at her as she turned towards Luthor and whispered "You were seen", Luthor didn't care though as he looked down at the crushed bird. The girl annoyed him greatly since he didn't like other children, Luthor wanted to make her go away. Slowly Luthor bent low and picked up the bird's remains and held it in his hand "It deserved to die" Luthor said simply as he through the bird towards the girl however something unexpected happened before it even got near her. The bird's remains exploded in mid air as had some of the other animal remains done in the the past. Feather's among other things flew everywhere causing Luthor to smirk in a cold way, Luthor looked at the girl wondering if he tried hard enough if he would be able to make her explode in a similar fashion. "You need more control, Focus" Sigourney scolded as she slithered off and dissapeared in search for another small animal.

Luthor took a few steps forwards and picked up a small bone covered in red, placing it inside his pocket he would add it to the collection he had back at home. Only Sigourney had ever seen his treasure cove of animal bones and he would keep it that way, though the girl that was now watching him would have to be taken care of. Luthor didn't say anything however and merely looked at her coldly as he took a few steps towards her, he hated people especially weak people that didn't understand what he had known for quite some time. The strong lived and the weak died, they deserved to die and the more painful the better. This was not something the average six year old thought but then Luthor was not the average six year old, having Sigourney near him his entire life whispering things that only he knew had made him silent and watchful in many ways thus giving him a better understanding of things around him. It was cold but Luthor merely shook it away as though it was nothing waiting patiently for Sigourney to return with his next prize, if the girl wanted to watch then that would be fine with him though part of him wanted to take that stupid toy of her's and shove it down her throat for talking to him.

Epiphany gasped at what the boy said. "No he did not. The birdes had a whole life aheads of it of being free and birdie like. You took that away from him you monster!" She said then held a hand out to catch the dead bird. Maybe her sister would be able to bring it back in really pretty colors or maybe make it bronze and phenox like. Then she could give it to Darren. He liked Phenoxes. There was nothing that the grown ups with the 'magics' couldn't do. Before she could catch it though it exploded.

Epiphany let out a yelp and covered her head so the feathers wouldn't get in her hair which Zazuka had taken so much time making pretty. She didn't have to do that though. The butterfly toy wiggled out of the little girl's hands and seemed to expand to cover Epiphany's head. She Epiphany dared to look up she saw the butterfly protecting her. Epiphany squeaked and jumped up to hug the stuffed butterfly toy. "Ms. Butterbee you are the bestest." She said brightly. It was then that she saw the boy picking up the bones of the dead animal. "Why you doing that?" She asked with a tilted head. Epiphany wasn't judging him she was just curious.

Luthor looked up at the girl with cold eyes not saying a word to her, he hated her toys and hated her. He wanted her to be gone from his site, from his planet and never breathe his air again. Luthor wanted to end something and wished that Sigourney would hurry up, as though hearing his thoughts the Silver Snake appeared with a small mouse in her mouth struggling to get free as she slithered her way towards him. "I have enough of those" Luthor said in a somewhat bored tone to Sigourney deciding to just ignore the girl and get back to his 'play'. Sigourney however didn't say a word as she brought the mouse to him releasing it once Luthor had a firm grip on it's small tail. "Focus now Luthor, same as before" Sigourney commanded as Luthor looked at the small thing and began to concentrate. He tried really hard to make the small creature explode just as he had done with the bird but nothing happened, Luthor didn't like that nothing was happening.

Luthor grabbed the mouse's body as he pulled out the bird bone, looking up at Epiphany he smirked in a menacing way "give me your toys or it dies" Luthor said darkly as he held the bone up to the mouse's face ready to shove it down it's throat in front of her. It was a simple trade, if the girl valued life so much then she wouldn't care about loosing a few non living things for it. After seeing what that butterfly thing did, Luthor wanted nothing more than to rip it to shreds along with the mouse. Luthor wanted to make both the mouse and the little girl hurt in anyway that was possible, the mouse for being weak and the girl for watching him and Sigourney when they were doing something that was supposed to be private. "Clever but I think you are going to far, just kill the mouse and let's go" Sigourney ordered obviously impressed with Luthor's ploy to make the girl suffer. Luthor however wasn't budging as he slowly began using the bone to pry the mouse's mouth open. "Decide" Luthor said coldly to the girl having decided not to listen to Sigourney.

Give him her toys? Epiphany could even fathom why he would want them. He seemed like the type that broke toys as soon as he got them. Not that Epiphany's toys broke easily because of the way they where made but still. Ms. Butterbee and her sisters had been the first toys that Epiphany had ever had while Leo had been given to her the first day she met her Jon-Jon, her sister's friend. She didn't see Jon-Jon anymore but she had Leo to remind her that he had been real. Then again, she didn't want the mouse to die. The mouse hadn't done anything but live.

For a moment she looked at Luthor with a tilted head but then she got an idea. "Okaysies. I will give you my toys to play with." She said as she tossed Ms. Butterbee forward. Leo lept in front of the butterfly creature and growled softly. Ms. Butterbee was about 12 inches tall like a normal toy but Leo stood at a four feet with his paws down. Easily the biggest of Zazuka's creations. Ms. Butterbee started to flutter around Sigourney while Leo aimed for the boy. Epiphany clapped and laughed. "Go, go and get the mouses." She said cheerfully.

Luthor was taking by surprised but reacted quicker than most would've just as Sigourney did the same. The first thing Luthor did was finish the job by killing the mouse as he ducked to the ground to avoid being mauled by the toy. Sigourney didn't pay attention to the butterfly as she began making her way towards Epiphany with the full intentions of biting her thus knocking her unconcious so that Luthor and herself might make their getaway. Luthor however was not going to let this girl humilate him as he had the full intentions of destroying her toys and making her cry. Stuffing the mouse into his pocket he slowly got to his feet. The butterfly toy tried to prevent Sigourney from moving however the snake was made of metal and like that of a steel whip forced her way past as she moved very quickly along the ground towards her inteded target.

Luthor didn't have anything to fight the tiger with however he was not afraid as he stared at the creature with cold malevolent eyes. It was all very simple after all, if he was weak then he would die and besides he knew that he was smarter then this thing who couldn't have had more intelligence than his Sigourney. Luthor looked over at the Butterfly who was trying to stop Sigourney from getting near the girl however each time it was thrawted. A plan began to formulate in Luthor's mind, one that would allow him to break both toys and get rid of the girl so that he would never have to see her again. he had snow all over his clothes and was dirty, Luthor didn't like to be dirty "I'm not afraid of a toy" Luthor said stiffly as he began circling the creature to ensure that he would be able to get closer to his target. Luthor could've called Sigourney for help but he knew that she wouldn't want that, he had to face this by himself while she took down the girl. Likely the toy would go to protect it's master unaware that Sigourney was virtually indestructeble and that would be when Luthor struck. Placing his hands inside his pocket Luthor squeezed the mouse's remains drawing comfort from the sanguine that came out.

A bell like noise sounded and Epiphany knew that the mouse was dead. Epiphany had only met one person like this boy and he had been taken down by her older sister. The monster that used to be in her nightmares, the evil stupid grown up that didn't understand anything about the magics and there for didn't understand anything about life. Epiphany was angry now. This boy didn't have an inkling was compassion for all life was. Ms. Butterbee was knocked aside only to have her come back hoving around him like an angry hornet. Thinking of hornets Epiphany got another idea.

Epiphany made some clicks with her tongue and Leo pelted forward making it look like it was going to charge the boy before leaping over him, on the metle snake's head. Epiphany knew the look in the boy's eyes. He meant to hurt her. Epiphany had made a promise to Essy that she would never get in a fight with someone else but this boy had it coming. He killed a bird and a mouse and she was sure that if he had the power to do so he would kill her too. Animals could be brought back as differnt things but you couldn't replace a human. That was what Essy said at least.

Epiphany cought on to the fur of Leo and got on. The little girl was small enough that she could still ride the massive animated toy. "Ms. Butterbee, Rainbows, sunshine, buttermellows!" She yelled and the butterfly creature left the snake. Ms. Butterbee fluttered up enough to block the sun from thier point of view spread her wings wide. Ms. Butterbee's wings cast a multi colored on the sence for a few seconds then the colors where gone but it seemed like Epiphany one her half lion half zebra steed had multiplied into three (Illusion). "Which one, which one. If your really so much better than everyone you should able to figure out which one of us is real." All three said then they started to move in a circul so the boy couldn't go anywhere.

Luthor watched as the girl's toys transformed they were different but that only made Luthor want to break them even more. The cold winter wind blew once more as Sigourney made her way over towards Luthor slithering up onto his shoulders whispering things into his ears. "I know" Luthor said coldly to Sigourney, he was already irritated with this girl and was going to make her pay as he looked at the illusions. Luthor looked down as he took a step forward, it seemed as though the girl wanted to play a game with him. That would be fine with Luthor since he was always aware of his surroundings and this seemed to be another one of those times where he would have to think hard about the situation and solve it. Sigourney once again whispered something into his ears "Don't tell me, I'll figure it out myself" Luthor scolded as he continued to look closely at the three.

Luthor smiled, he figured out which one was real based off the snow that was on the ground. It seemed that the other two were indeed illusions and therefore had no footprints to leave in the snow unlike the third one. Luthor took a step forwards however he heard some voices coming from the outside of the alley, people were coming and it would be very strange to be found fighting with this girl considering there were bird remains around them along with a bone and a dead mouse in his pocket. "This isn't over" Luthor said coldly as he looked around, one of the buildings had a glass window that lead to the celler. Sigourney jumped towards it breaking it as Luthor ran after her squeezing his small body into the celler as he fell to the ground. It was even colder inside then it was outside but now they would have to get out of the building before the girl ratted them out to the adults. "Sigourney?" Luthor called out looking for his metal snake, it was dark and difficult to see, they wouldn't have much time.

Epiphany at any other time would have been having fun riding Leo and making illusions with Ms. Butterbee. She loved to make things like that to confuse her friends and make them laugh. This was different though she was about to taunt the boy some more when she heard someone comeing. "Epiphany! Epiphany Bones! They called. It was Essy Lady coming to see what she had gotten into. Suddenly all the illusions dropped and Ms. Butterbee was once again in the little girl's arms as unextraordenary as a toy could get. Leo let her down and started to walk beside her. Epiphany had time though. "Yeah I'll beat you next time evil boy!" She yelled to the boy as he dissapered with his metle snake.

Epiphany had been at parks where bad boys played and none of them where like this boy and his ugly metle snake. There was something about him that made her hate him. Epiphany didn't even know what hate was but she knew that this was what she was feeling for the boy. It was the urge to make sure that he could never hurt anything again. Or worse anyone. She hoped that next time she had someone like Batty or Mistu Bun-Bun with her and then the boy would see what her toys would do. Epiphany's gaurdien came and took her away from the ally telling her that she wasn't meant to be playing alone. Epiphany said that she wasn't alone but she knew that they would not count a toy as a person. They didn't even take a second look at the animal remains. Epiphany would never do anything to hurt another living creature.

Sigourney wasn't in the cellar with Luthor she had already left that place and was moving quickly and silently after the girl and her vile toys. Someone had came and they were now holding hands however for the metal assassin this was no threat as she quickly slithered up the girl towards her neck where within an instant she bit down injecting a small dosage of the poison she held in her fangs into her. It was not enough to kill her however it would bring her close to the edge of death and would cause great amounts of pain for her to endure. "I do not kill children, however little girl the next few painful hours should teach you not to mess with Luthor Silverback" Sigourney whispered into the girl's ears as she quickly leapt off the girl and back onto the ground towards Luthor. The poison was a rare one that would be difficult to cure the girl from however Sigourney would never kill a child and so that would have to be lesson enough. Sigourney traveled along the ground back towards the alleyway where the House Elf Tin and Luthor waited.

"There you are" Luthor said as the house elf left having been summoned by Sigourney to get Luthor out safely and watch over him until she had returned. "I apologies, I was taking care of the girl" Sigourney said as she slithered up onto Luthor's shoulder. "Soon you will be able to kill children like that" Sigourney whispered to him as Luthor looked up at her. "You didn't? Luthor asked a bit surprised that his companion lacked the murderous skills that he did, Sigourney merely stared out into the open not saying anything until at last she turned towards him "My business is my own, you hate her therefore you kill her" Sigourney said simply enough before directing the pair back into the crowd where they could blend in. Luthor wanted to see if he could find the girl, he wanted to take the bird bone in his pocket and jam into her throat as he did the mouse. Luthor hated not getting what he wanted and this girl had prevented him from doing so, the mouse would have to be torn apart so that he could collect a bone and discard the rest but he also wanted one from the girl.

Leo had tried to block the metle snake but he had not been fast enoug. Ms. Butterbee let off a very loud bell like sound as Epiphany fell in the snow. Her spot came off of her wings and turned to two others just like her. Queen Avispa a Bee like creature with trasparent wings and stright up antenie and Lady Luna, the moth version of Ms. Butterbee. The three joined wings and created a sorf sheld that made it so Epiphany coulnd't be seen unless she was someone that she knew. Leo protected the perimiter. Zazuka had known that as curiose as Epiphany was she would get in trouble every once in a while and given their history Zazuka had every right to be paranoied about her little sister. The toys had been programed to protect the little girl at all costs.

It took a while but Epiphany was taken way from that place. She spent sevral hours in bed screaming from the poison that no one seemed to be able to get out of her system. All the while the name 'Luthor' kept going through her mind. It was the first time she felt something burn inside her like this. Epiphany had never hated anyone, not even her abusive father but this boy, this boy made her feel things that she was sure no six year old girl should ever feel. He was wrong and twisted and should not even exsist but he did. Epiphany vowed that if she ever met him again she would not be put in this possition agian. The poison worked it's way through Epiphany's system at last and she was able to sleep a little past midnight as the adults drifted off to bed themselves. Epiphany's dreams for the first time where filled with swords and fighting spells.
