More than to long

[Eden Silverback]

Eden hurried to Brightstone Village. The day was bright and sunny but still Eden kept her dark cloak pulled up to cover her face. Running along the path, Eden stopped and looked around to make sure no one saw her before she turned right at the conner and made her way down a empty street that ended in a park that was over grown with weeds. Walking through them Eden made her way to a tree and climbed up. It was here that she would wait for Chase. Eden had heard some of what was going on in the outside world with Chase and the other Death Eaters, but none of that mattered to Eden so this was way she was here hiding so no one would catch her and question her.

Chase apparated on the far side of the Village, and was happy that he could have some time between him and Eden, it had been far to long since the last Brightstone Weekend, and she was bound to have a million and one questions for him about what he had been up to. Chase smiled when he thought about her, and was glad to know that she was in Brightstone somewhere waiting for him. Chase knew that she would have missed him, and have a lot more to tell him about the wedding..

Chase smiled when he saw her, she looked just as good as he remembered her looking, she even looked more beautiful then Chase had remembered. Chase walked over to her, hopping into the tree behind her, slipping his arms around her waist, and kissing her neck. "Where've you been hiding, beautiful?" Chase teased. "I've only been looking for you for the past five minutes. I would have thought you'd have come running to me by now." Chase said, chuckling softly. He bent over and kissed her on the lips.

Eden felt someone put there arms around her. For a moment she panicked but forced herself to calm down. It was only Chase the only person in the whole world who would think to look for her here. Leaning into him Eden smiled as he kissed her neck. Turning around to look at him and to kiss him back Eden looked up at him from under her cloak.

"I did not think it would be the best idea to coming running to you. Professors could be about and they migh question what I am doing with you. There are rumors my love." Eden looked at Chase and smiled he was still as handsome as before maybe even more so now. "Father is going to be marrying a pure blood witch soon. I do not like the sound of her and if she tries to take my place she will die." Eden was ready to fight to the death for her place she had pushed Tohoru out the way taken Hoshi's place she was not about to let some nobody take all that away from her.

Chase sighed softly, "It seems I can't ignore the stuff that goes on in your family even for a day, can I?" Chase said, smiling at his love, "I am aware of that, I do pay attention to these things sometimes." He said, knowing perfectly well that she expected her to take her side in all of this, but Chase wasn't so sure, the witch seemed alright to him. Chase wouldn't mention that to Eden, but it would be a little bit obvious, he just hoped she wouldn't press the matter.

Chase smiled at up Eden, hoping to distract her, "Why are there Professor's around? You have nothing to fear from being caught with me." Chase said, smiling. He hopped out of the tree, and looked up at her expectantly. "Well come on then. I'm not one for sitting in tree's all day." Chase said, chuckling slightly. Chase hoped she would come out though, but if she didn't he would just sit at the base of the tree and wait for her all day, he didn't have a problem with that at all.

Eden rolled her eyes. "If I have my way the women wont make it a week in the Koshiba family. I wont have it. Shes going to come in and give father a pure blood son and he will want the pure blood child to lead the family after him instead of me. Everything I worked for will be gone." Eden knew she was sounding like a brat but that could not be helped she was used to always getting her way and now all of the sudden that was not happening.

Looking around Eden took off her cloak and left it in the tree she could always come back for it later. Climbing down carefully Eden stood on the branch right above Chase and jumped into his arms. She knew that he could catch her with out a problem seeing as she did not weigh more than 100 lbs on a good day. "So my love what is it we are going to do today? I am up for whatever as long as I get to spend it with you." Eden said as she kissed Chase.

Chase laughed when she went on about her soon-to-be mother-in-law, "Yes, Eden, I get the point. You don't like her, and you don't want her to be a part of your family, or to ruin your standing as 'daddy's favourite'. Just stop going on about it." He teased, kissing her gently as he caught her in his arms. For somebody so small, she was remarkably light, but that was Chase's Eden, and he couldn't be any happier with her, he hadn't expected the fight they had had before to happen though.

Chase smiled at her, noticing that she still loved him no matter what had ever happened between them, it was as though the fight had never happened, and he was incredibly happy with that result. Cradling her in his arms he kissed her softly, and he set her down onto the ground and smiled at her, "We can go wherever you want to go, but perhaps a short walk through the Village first?" Chase asked, taking her hand and leading her forward without waiting for an answer.

Eden pouted for a second. "Fine I will let it go but if she finds out your secret than she might tell everyone she is a reporter. I worry that she will try and place us in different rooms and I wont be able to wake up in your arms anymore." Eden knew that she was being a bit of a brat about this whole thing because she was worried about this women but the lest she could do was give her a chance right?

Kissing Chase back Eden smiled. Fixing her shirt as Chase put her on the ground. Looking over her shoulder Eden saw the top part of her mark was showing. Eden covered it back up and took Chases hand. "I think a walk in the Village is a good idea. We can go over the guest list. I was wondering if there had been anyone that you had crossed off the list because of doings on your end made it to where they would rather have you dead and happily married to me." Eden said with a cheeky grin. She had just asked what she had wanted to know but she had made it sound like it had something to do with the wedding so that it would not seem like she was being nosey.

Chase smiled over at Eden, knowing that he had won this battle, but she would probably win the war. Chase knew that she wouldn't accept the women as her mother, and he would stand at her side when she took a stand against her, he wanted nothing more, and nothing less then to make her happy. Chase winked at her, and kissed her softly, lingering on the kiss for a moment, and then breaking it, smiling down at her as he did, he couldn't be happier then he was right now.

Chase wondered what they would do when it came to the wedding, after he had attacked Maddiie, and Alex, and the Auror wasn't even invited to the wedding. There was one thing that Chase knew for sure, no Aurors would be attending his wedding if he could help it. Chase smiled at Eden, for somebody so small she was very nosy, but he loved her like that, and he wouldn't ignore her question, he took her hand and started walking through the village.

"Well, now that Alex knows that I'm a Death Eater, you can cross him off, he'll have nothing to do with me. And Maddiie Hollaworth, and Alexander Fields. That's about it for now." He said, chuckling at his love, hoping that would satisfy her quest for knowledge. Chase knew that she wouldn't be happy with that, but he would make her happy one way or another today.

Eden smiled up at Chase. She liked looking at him. He was so handsome and perfect. How she had ever lived without him she would never know. Taking Chase's hand in her's Eden grinned. If only everything in her life could be so perfect.

Eden walked with Chase to the village. It was really nice and anytime Eden got to spend with Chase was good in her books. They saw each other whenever the was a weekend but it was never enough time to say I love you or spend more than a few hours. Eden could not wait for the moment when she was out of school and would be married to Chase and they would have the rest of there lives together.

Eden smirked at the mention of Alex. "Yea I figured Alex he has been down right angry about things and we pretty much have my loud mouth sister Lilith to blame for that. I don't want her at the wedding but as of right now I can't say no." Eden was a bit shocked to hear that Maddiie and Alexander would not be at the wedding. "Chase my love I suggest that you start playing nice with people are we are going to have no one but me you and father at the wedding." Eden giggled there was to many people that wanted to see this wedding so Chase could have his fun and there would still be plenty of people at the wedding.

Chase frowned at her, "You're going to take away my fun? What's the fun in that? Maybe I should make YOU my next victim." Chase teased, placing an arm around her waist and pulling her close to him. Chase would never hurt Eden, and he wouldn't give her the chance to have to live without him, just as long as nothing happened to him when he had to leave her for her school life again, he would be happy when all of this was over and they could just be together.

Chase wondered what they could do for the rest of the day, he was up for anything, as long as he could spend it with Eden, of course. Chase knew that whatever happened between him and Eden, as long as they were together, they could face it together, and Chase wouldn't have it any other way. Anybody who tried to harm Eden, would have hell to pay from Chase, and he wouldn't be in a mood for giving out candy and sweets if he did manage to track down somebody.

Chase smiled at Eden, he wondered what she would be thinking about at this time, and he knew that not everything in their life would be perfect together, and they would have to enjoy the time together they had, even though Eden had her holidays soon. ( ) Chase kissed her softly on the lips, lingering there for a minute, and then breaking it. He sat down at the base of a nearby tree, pulling her along with him so that they could spend the rest of the day together.

Eden chuckled, and than froze she never did that. Chase was the one that did that. Did that mean that Chase was rubbing off on Eden? "O no help the big bad Death Eater is going to get me. Whatever shall I do?" Eden said in a light playful voice so no one could over hear them. Putting her hand on Chase's chest Eden smiled up at him. "You know you are crazy sometimes. But I like it." Eden looked into Chases eyes and saw forever it was a very safe forever something she could get used to.

Eden looked around the village and smiled it was a nice little place now that they where a bit removed from all the students and what not that where around. Eden could not wait until the very moment she said I do to Chase and was able to spend the rest of her life with him. It would only be a couple more years but it seemed like forever.


"So my dear I can not wait to be back in Japan for the holidays what about you?" Eden was not sure how Chase felt about Japan but Eden loved it and the sooner she got back there the better. " I am sure that we will find something to do while we are there besides me worrying about what grades I got on my exams. " Eden rolled her eyes all she seemed to do was study and it was going to be harder than ever next term.
