Moral support?

This is really odd to me, but I've been on this site for so many years now; and I wanted to share some news and hope for some support back from you guys.. now it's nothing serious just a big progression in me for my job.

The past few months I've been undergoing Shift Supervisor training at my job, and this Monday/Tuesday is the big days where I get evaluated on my knowledge and whether or not I'm ready for the promotion or not.

And well; it's pretty safe to say, that I am sooooooooooo damn nervous! So a bit of moral support goes a long way, and I was hoping to get some from the amazing friends I've made on here!

I'll of course keep you guys updated as the days go on whether I pass the different sections or not. I'm evaluated on 4 different areas. Open, Changeover, Close, and Shift Running. Now I obviously have to pass all four, but I get evaluated on them on different days. Monday is my Open/Changeover, and Tuesday is my Close; Shift running gets evaluated both days based on how I present myself on shift.

So thank you guys in advance, tomorrow is my last shift before the day it starts; and I have a feeling my nerves are just going to get worse

A supervisor position? I'd say that definitely counts as serious. How cool! Good luck and you definitely do have to keep us updated! I'm sure you'll do well.

Let me know if I have to ban you those days so you don't HNZ from your phone. You can go back to doing that once you get the promotion.

Don't worry, Zach, just try to treat it like it's just another day on the job. I think you'll be fine - awesome, even. You've been working there for a while, and as long as you remind yourself that you know what you're doing and don't freak yourself out, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Zaach! That sounds super exciting, but also nerve wracking. But we all have every confidence in you! Try to picture the days going exactly the way you want them to, rather than the way you're afraid they will. If you visualise everything running smoothly and getting the promotion, it might ease your nerves a little bit!

Zach! Don't even worry about it! You'll be fine, I know this intrinsically! They would be very remiss to not pass you for the promotion! You're a hard worker and you give way better time and energy than most others I've associated with who work there. You deserve this! Like Tenile said, we can pop over and see you of you're that nervous!

Did my last training shift today, and there's 11 hours till the first evaluation begins. I really wanna do this; because there was this one manager that was a complete ***** to me and she laughed her face off when she found out I was training, so now it's my turn to prove her wrong!

So I come with a bit of bad news.
I passed my open, and my changeover; but I failed the shift run. The good thing is that I still come and do the close evaluation tomorrow but it also means that I have to redo and evaluation before I am a full shift supervisor, i guess you could say I'm 50% a manager right now?

Good job doing well on the other ones and now you've got experience with the other evaluation. You'll get that part next time for sure.

I have something of an update. There's a slight, and I really stress the word slight, chance that I can get back the pass mark for the part I failed today since a different person is doing my night evaluation.
