The dungeons weren't exactly far from the entrance hall and Charlotte made her way there in no time with confidence all over her face. She tried to show the boys that she knew where she was going despite the fact that she didn't. The potions classroom should have been there somewhere but there were too many doors and Charlotte was unsure which door it was. She wanted to go through them all and explore every room but didn't want to blow the fact that she was really lost and didn't want to get herself lost even more.

"The potions classroom is probably locked so I think it's a bad idea." Charlotte said, changing her mind and stopping in her tracks. Surely the boys knew more about the potions classroom than Charlotte did. After all, they did potions first semester and she didn't. "Let's just hang around here and see what we can do then." At this point, it was getting kind of obvious that Charlotte was losing her confidence and she sighed, disappointed that she wasn't able to accomplish her mission. Hopefully the boys knew what they were doing.

Silus scoffed at the idea of the Potions Professor actually locking the door to the classroom. "Honestly, I doubt he'd remember something like looking the door." he said, hand reaching for the knob. After juggling it, one of his eyebrows raised. "Well, well. Looks like I underestimated our dear friend. " He scowled and turned to face the other two, hoping they weren't thinking he was a pathetic fool for suggesting they break into the a classroom. "I'm at a loss" He grumbled, hoping this wouldn't be the end.

Hemi wasn't sure about the drinking left out potion part, but the rest of the adventure was excited him. After attending class there, the Gryffindor had learnt the way to the Potions classroom but he couldn't tell you anything else about the dungeons. It was several degrees colder than the rest of the castle and Hemi never found a good reason to explore further.

Arriving at the door he watched Silus try open it. It made sense that the Professor would lock it when vacating. "They should invent a spell for unlocking doors." He stated nodding slightly, Hemi had never heard of such a spell but thought he might be on to something.

"I'll try the muggle way" Hemi put his arms out beside him, "Stand back." Taking a step back himself, Hemi ran at the door. It was as if he was taking the leap for platform 9 3/4 all over again! Only this time he slammed right into it.

"Ow" He stumbled backwards, "That always worked in those cop dramas I watched back home" Maybe Charlotte was right, maybe they shouldn't break into the Potions classroom.

Charlotte laughed as she watched the two boys try to break into the classroom. "I'm pretty sure they have a spell for everything." she told Hemi. "But I'm not sure what it is." She shrugged. Trying to break into the classroom was just as stupid as Charlotte trying to break into Professor Styx's office that one time. She knew they weren't going to accomplish anything but it was worth a try.

"Maybe if we kick it open. Silus could give that a try." Charlotte smirked, referring back to the time when Charlotte saved Hemi's life five minutes ago. She was really confused as to what they could do and stood there for what felt like 15 minutes in deep thought.

Suddenly, an idea came to her. Taking one of her hair pins in her hair, she tried putting it in the lock and turning. This usually would work on Charlotte's grandmother's house whenever she lost the key but it didn't work this time and Charlotte's hair pin snapped in half whilst trying. She threw the two pieces across the room in frustration. How were they going to do this?

Pityiful... Silus thought, after witnessing Hemi's attempt at breaking down the for. He smiled slightly at his comment. "I'm sure there's a spell for that, but it would probably far too advanced for any of us, to be honest."

Silus grinned when Charlotte suggested he kick the door down. He glanced at Hemi and then back at Charlotte, an eyebrow rising at the sight of her attempt to break into the room. It made him smile, even though it initially failed. "If anyone here's the expert on lock picking, that would definitely be me, but watching your technique, I think you did just fine. Just, the muggle way must not compete with the locking spell." he said grimly. What where they to do now?

Silus was growing more and more frustrate each passing moment. What would they do next? He decided anymore attempts at breaking in would simply be pointless.

Trying the handle didn't work, picking the lock didn't work, and Hemi knew first hand that taking a run up at the door didn't work either. The first year scratched his head, it seemed they were at a loss.

He didn't want the adventure to end on such an anti-climax, they had all been so excited after all. The young wizard wanted to leave his mark somehow, and he wasn't talking about the Hemi sized dent in the door.

"I have an idea!" Hemi immediately started rummaging through his bag (because he had, had that with him the whole time, did you not see?). He produced a spare piece of parchment and his quill. Crouching down to use the floor as his table, he wrote: 'Professor Pendleton smells of old moth balls.'

He proceeded to attach the note to the door before standing back to admire his handiwork. "Wola!" He exclaimed, as if revealing a masterpiece. Yes it was silly, yes it was immature, but those two words summed this wizard up perfectly!

Silus gawked at Hemi's little note, and shifted on his feet. "You don't suppose he could track that back to you, eh?" he asked, looping his thumbs in the belt loops of his pants. He studied the note a bit more closely. "Or simply recognize that as your handwriting?" Silus scoffed and playfully kicked at the door. He looked at the two other students and groaned. "I'm beginning to think I may have underestimated the Nutty Professor, and underrated the Forbidden Forest. Anyone have any better ideas than mine? I don't think we'll be able to succeed in breaking in, guys."

Charlotte watched as Hemi stuck a rather immature note to the door. She felt sorry for the little professor. She didn't really know him but he seemed to be a rather defenceless man and she wanted to go and hug him or something for what Hemi just did to him. But nonetheless, the note was pretty funny and Charlotte stood back and smirked at it.

"How about we put something under the door as a funny gesture? What do you have in that bag of yours?" Charlotte asked Hemi. She didn't even notice he had a bag until just now. Seriously, where did he get it from? What was he doing walking around the school with a bag on when he could just leave everything in the common room? It made her wonder what he really planned to do tonight.
